It became more menacing thanks to Kraven, Peter's guilt for the dead of May and others factors made Peter loose himself. Also Doctor Connors didn't help something tell me he is the real villain here.

And I’m surprised nobody’s bringing up how freaking EPIC the black suit gameplay is, as well as how good Yuri Lowenthal is with it (like when he gets aggressive/angry and screams in agony with the symbiote’s sound weakness)

It touched Peter earlier, perhaps it wanted his power and well Harry has an incurable disease that’s killing him so perhaps it saw it’s chance to get a healthy body.
Fun Fact: The suit didn’t go on Harry’s Will, it went on into own accord to Peter, as he had powers it could use aswell as its own, so he wanted to use that. (It’s an interesting thought.)

Peter can never keep the symbiote because the power of it always goes to his head, and of course the symbiote wants to hold onto Peter like no one else. The power of Spider-man. It’s like an addiction/toxic relationship metaphor both ways. The symbiote always wants Peter back at its core, but will act like an ex betrayed if it cannot have him. Harry seemed to have a good hold on it until this moment. Perhaps he could have had a positive relationship with it otherwise. But well Venom happened, but even through all that Venom still wants Peter to be with them. I never thought I’d have liked a Harry Venom over Eddie Venom…but the deep personal connection Harry has to Peter works perfectly for Venom, especially that neither of them can let Peter go.

The symbiote suit isn't inherently evil. Even in the comics. The symbiote becomes whatever it's wearer is. So if the wearer is an evil POS then it will enhance that. Though it does make the wearer more violent unless and until they become more awuainted
It’s just so clingy to Peter because Peter is so powerful it doesn’t want to let him go, and likewise Peter also goes on a power trip. Harry might have been able to keep a good thing going if he hadn’t been hanging out with Peter and the symbiote jumping ship.
Well I did watch the post credit scene and apparently they're planning on making a third game so it's probably going to have silk Eddie Brock and Green Goblin in it and hopefully Carnage who knows
I didn't think they set up Eddie Brock, but they did set up Carnage. Eddie doesn't have much of a place in the story with Venom dead. So far, the only symbiote we know survived was Carnage. I do wish Scream and Venom's other 4 kids had more screen time/screen time at all
The biggest set up was Green Goblin. But the endboss and plot of this game is definitely going to be the Superior Spider-Man. It's been teased from the first game and with that final scene of Otto you can bet on it.
I just hope they don’t make Harry Green goblin or hobgoblin. He had enough trauma being Venom. Unless somehow he stays a good guy? I’m disappointed they killed Venom, but maybe they could say he has a piece of Venom still alive in him like Peter did.

But for real though, this is the best symbiote portrayal i have ever seen in video games, 2nd place is Web of Shadows. Im playing on Spectacular difficulty and it's fking unreal how fast and easy it is for me to brute force through the hundreds of hunters with the symbiote, that thing is OP af lmao, and that's exactly why i love it, it's what black-suited Spider-Man should look like. Edit: Oh and notice how Harry was kicking Kraven's ass in the background too, right before he give the suit to Peter. A guy with no fighting experience like Harry is bullying Kraven with zero efforts just show how fking broken this version of symbiote really is xD.

Im glad you made a video of it but you barely took advantage of the venom mode doing dodge kicks and using abilities instead. This scene was epic with the insta downs the venom mode gives when i played it.

I think they should’ve made Kraven here a non-winnable boss fight. It would make him seem like so much more of threat, since it just seems like he randomly has the upper hand on Spider-Man. Most of the story up to this point is just fighting hunters so getting to actually see his strength would be awesome.
I really wish they adjusted every suit for cutscenes so you don’t switch from whatever suit you are using to the default it sucks cause for me it incentivizes me to use the default suit on first run at all times for story sakes

They heavly nerfed peter. In spiderman 1 he took the sinister 6 at once and got a poisinous bite from scorpions tail. He still woke up and defeated the sinister 6 in 2 days with 16 broken bones. He 2 v 1 them instead of taking the sinister 6 1 on 1. He was heavle nerfed in this game.

@PLYTATN I'm not a know it all on the topic by any means but I know I decent amount on them. Toxin is the strongest. The offspring is always stronger than the parent, venom is actually the weakest out of all the symbiotes.

Im glad you made a video of it but you barely took advantage of the venom mode doing dodge kicks and using abilities instead. This scene was epic with the insta downs the venom mode gives when i played it.

I was about to comment that and that may be true because there are other symbiote in the sm2 verse because in the flame we saw carnage but I doubt insomniac will add that is sm3 but u never know
But the venom did die I think or infused with the energy of li so technically the codex is either gone or still there idk if the anti venom killed the normal venom
I think they should’ve made Kraven here a non-winnable boss fight. It would make him seem like so much more of threat, since it just seems like he randomly has the upper hand on Spider-Man. Most of the story up to this point is just fighting hunters so getting to actually see his strength would be awesome.

Well it wasn’t the knife itself but the blow right after that when leaven threw him the knife probably went deeper in so the wound got more severe
i just finished this part i thought it might have been poised with scorpions venom and other things they were during a lot of research on the villains

I really wish they adjusted every suit for cutscenes so you don’t switch from whatever suit you are using to the default it sucks cause for me it incentivizes me to use the default suit on first run at all times for story sakes
I did the exact same, felt like, alright I’ll have a canon play through then new game plus I’ll where whatever suit I want.

They heavly nerfed peter. In spiderman 1 he took the sinister 6 at once and got a poisinous bite from scorpions tail. He still woke up and defeated the sinister 6 in 2 days with 16 broken bones. He 2 v 1 them instead of taking the sinister 6 1 on 1. He was heavle nerfed in this game.

what did Kraven mean when he said “not as venomous as they say”. Did he mean that he was surprised of spider-man ability to withstand the poison in kravens knife or that the poison wasn’t as venomous and deadly as he suspected?
Probably a diss on Peter for not being more of a challenge. Certain species of spiders are venomous after all.
