MY uncle NEVER saw his wife without makeup. She would wait until he was asleep before removing it, and then would wake earlier than him in order to reapply! And she was already stunning! They divorced and I assume that she carried on the same routine with her second husband and with her children until she died last year in her 90s (although she took 10 years off her age - not even claiming the bus pass when she was eligible!).
