  • After suffering with on-going debilitating neck pain, Dr. Thomas C. Schuler, Founder, CEO & Spinal Surgeon at Virginia Spine Institute, underwent spine surgery to overcome his spinal condition. With his career in jeopardy and his active lifestyle put on hold, this was his only option to get back to the quality of life he desired. With the guidance of his fellow spine surgeon Dr. Christopher Good, he selected an innovative hybrid procedure (combination of spinal fusion and cervical artificial disc replacement) which resulted in getting him back to his profession and active lifestyle!

Dr Schuler was a very bad surgeon. His spinal fusion failed, he also gave me a 6 inch incision on my stomach and didn’t explain that there was an alternate for minimum invasive surgery.
He’s a really bad person who always put business first and patients second.
His practice overprescribed opioids as well. It was really a toxic environment
