Molly and Manny exit the elevator and make their way to the main room down a long pristine hallway. Molly feels the fabric of her white corpo dress shirt rubbing up against her back scratches and bite marks. She ignores the pain as she enters the mainroom with the rest of her personal team waiting patiently for her. They all immediately stop their various idle conversations with each other and quickly sit up straight attentive and waiting. There are several stacks of documents and different pictures and paperwork pertaining to the Petrochem wharehouse explosion scattered all over a conference room table. Molly sits down at the head of the table and kicks her high-heeled feet up onto it. As everyone sits silently waiting for her to speak she glances around at them impatiently. ".....Well..?" She asks lowering her eyebrows in an expecting tone causing the various suits in the room to perk up. "Hello ma'am. Good to see you're ok. We've compiled the various data we've accumulated since touchdown including the information you aquired out in the badlands." "We were provided a description of 2 people of interest from the receptionist. She informed me that the 2 we're interested in were indeed the occupants of that Colby Butte we found burned and stashed out there. Said they left the hotel several days later in a different vehicle after burning the Butte... she also said that wasn't something all that uncommon out there." Molly concludes. "We're unfortunately unable to know who the owner of the Butte may have been. Nor do we know the vehicle they left with" One of the suits in the room at the table says. "Fuck the small breadcrumbs. Whoever they are, they've already proven they can play that game well. Following a small lead at a time will get us nowhere at best and running in circles at worst." Molly says before pulling out a smoke and crossing her bare legs in her corpo black thigh high skirt. Manny quickly produces a lighter and lights her smoke for her before standing back at attention behind her. She continues in a relaxed tone after taking a drag. "Lets think back to the original action. The potential motives are few and far between. Nothing as far as we know was taken. It was clearly a breach in security and NOT an accidient. Access was obtained through a very specific pathway through very specific means." She takes another drag of her smoke before continuing. "This tells me it was someone with inside knowledge." "An insider ma'am?" Another suit in the room asks curious "Mm. One who knows how to hit where it hurts..... I've seen my fair share of blackmail attempts, inter company sabotage, and coordinated regime takeovers but this.... this is different....This feels.....personal...emotional." Molly replies. "There's any number of enemies we've made in the industry over the years that can have an interest in hurting us in any way possible. Sovoil doesn't skip my mind for a second." Another suit in the room says. "This isn't competition...oh no... this... this is a punch in the face.... an assault from someone who not only wants to make the company hurt...but is more than likely hurt themselves. Hmm..." Molly says "We have several other pieces of intel in the way of events of the week ma'am. This city is entrenched in serious fuckin' chaos. I almost didn't believe the amount of corpo involved violence activity reports we pulled but one in particular stood out. A car chase that occured weeks prior to the warehouse sabotage involved several petrochem contractors tasked with security of the warehouse. They pursued a T66 Avenger through a slum neighborhood...however they never reported back. The Chevillon had been mostly stripped before the area could be secured." "Now THERE'S something." Molly says while slotting the datashard with the team's gathered intel. "We're ready for your next steps ma'am." Molly pauses while thinking deeply and sifting through various pieces of data. The team glances aroud at each other in the silent high-end conference room. "This is a delicate investigation. The people involved in this are intelligent, highly capable and motivated for currently unknown reasons. I'm not going to approach this conventionally. It'll work to my advantage to travel light in this investigation without being further encumbered by an unecessarily large opreation and security detail. I will be submitting a formal request to extend my investigation into this until further notice. I, along with Manny will thoroughly parse this data and pursue the provided leads in a manner appropriate to the required process necessary to succeed in this investigation. Molly says in a serious, proffessional tone causing the various suits in the room to quickly glance around each other in silent confusion. Molly removes her legs from the table. "Yeah, that's correct. You're all fired." She gets up out of the chair causing the various suits sat around the conference table to quickly stand up and bow their heads in silence. She makes for the exit with Manny promptly following behind her leaving them speachless. "And don't worry. Resources and Huscle are but a holobuzz away. Thank you for all of your efforts and continued service to blah blah blah blah." Molly concludes dismissively as you hear her high heels tapping on the marble floor exiting the conference room. Molly and Manny enter the elevator as it slowly heads down. "I am fuckin starving.." Molly says glancing over at Manny. She notices him smiling. "What is it?" She asks. "You know our best ops are always the travel light ones." "Oh? Is that so?" "Sure it is. Remember Colombia? Spain?..... Germany?" "Eh.. maybe... This feels different though...This city is unpredictable...Too many factors at play to keep up with. We're gonna need to consolidate and be thorough. Gonna need you focused on this one... need you to trust me." "Heh, When have I ever not? Consider it a uhh... personal company policy of mine." Manny replies in a deep tone with a chuckle. "What are you still smiling about?" Molly asks with a giggle and a smirk. "Just love when you take charge of an op ma'am. Results speak for themselves." Manny says looking forward. The elevator dings open, cutting to black.
Misty is great, I think I prefered the other image of her you did though. Shes pretty without needing to flaunt it and the other image conveyed that well.
