Thanks for all helpers thanks to the Oskar Frech Seebad in Schorndorf that we were allowed to shoot in this beautiful location and also thanks to langenberg.bike for the service on my bike afterwards! ❤️
Some weeks I ago I met the amazing underwater photographer Christian Zink from @lichtfang-photography and we made a underwaterfotoshooting with the BIKE. We had a lot of fun because as a cyclist I am really not used to put my bike underwater. Or do you know any cyclist under WATER? 😅 So we made a underwaterfotoshooting and shoot some amazing fotos underwater with the bike. Cyclist underwater fotos 😅

yes, I like to swim and dive and I made some videos underwater with some big fishes in a small see nearby ...... but not with my bike :)

Great photography images and that had to be very, very difficult for you to do so many shots and trying to get into and hold a position while your body keeps wanting to float to the surface. Plus you're having to hold your breath the entire time. Can't imagine how many times you had to go up and catch your breath. No runway model would be able to accomplish what you did.

Hope the bike bearings were packed with waterproof grease 😉. How long did you have to hold your breath for? I saw one scene where you dumped the bike and made for the surface quickly. Great video Viola.

No, I have not made any photos under water. When I was young I tried to do a handstand under water but I kept getting water up my nose.
Everything has to be right for photos like this. Technique, idea, model, photographer and the whole team. We made an extreme effort and it was worth it. Viola is incredible.

Awesome photoshoot! Also don't stress, give your bike to a technician, he'll clean all the water from all bearings and stuff. Water with lubricant drastically increases wear of rubbing parts if you try to ride it afterwards
I think nothing will happen to the bike. It was dried immediately afterwards. Otherwise I'll have expensive clothes in the water. Everyone is always afraid of that.
@@lichtfang-photography you're wrong. Water gets into bushings and mixes with lubricant. You'll need to use excessive heat to release the moisture. This way it's easier just to disasseble the whole thing, clean it and change the lubricant.
@@demondrive147 Okay. I had made the suggestion to put the bike in a sauna afterwards. No sauna infusion. Just dry warm air.
Let's hope the bike stays in one piece. The pictures are unique.
I went to the manufacturer right afterwards. It indeed harmed my bike but I hope I still use it some years
