- When you live on a boat you need a variety of different tools, from multimeters, to pex crimping tools, from jigsaws to rivet guns, and probably at least 3 or 4 powered sanding devices...... but this one tool is arguably one of the more versatile tools you can have on a boat, the problem is.... it's expensive. So we've waited and waited and waited to get it. Until one of our patrons very generously decided to help us out. And we jumped at the opportunity to make this purchase we've been waiting so long for.

Great video guys. Always fun to see dad and daughter smiling, romping and having fun.
Love y’all’s videos Like the longer video’s also 🤗
You guys need to get with la vagabond and have an arrangement for your daughter and there son that are both so cute!!!
Excellent job Jessica,
Jessica you did a great job, but can I say one thing in a few months Kara will be able to reach the zipper when she does you might be making another with side zippers. I know i'm a bummer. I don't even think that Kara minded the new screen at all. Glad you all are safe and sound. : ) peace
Who doesn't love that machine!? Looking forward to the enclosure.
Wow, pretty dang spiffy!
Hahaha....no sanding involved ! Hahaha
Sweet! What an awesome patreon to help out. Just got my new Honu Tshirts- good stuff, miss you roomies!!
That's no joke... ;-)
Nice job, lashed out on the big wheel too! Cage......🤣😎🏖🌴☀️🇦🇺
Very nice!
Mine is 15 years old and still works flawless.
Good to hear that!!
I would love to have a Sailrite. We have the Singer Heavy Duty 4452, and so far it has been able to do even sails with some effort. It's not a replacement for the Sailrite, but for $150 it rocks.
So basically what you've done is update baby jail. Thanks for the video.
Don't be an butt hole
Sounds like a powerful sewing machine
NICE patreon !!!
Good job. Did you learn to sew at home?
We both sewed on and off throughout our lives. They were little projects, nothing professional. Plan on following Sailrites videos for our boat sewing projects in the future.
awesome
Hey Ryan, haven't talk to you guys in a while. Hope y'all are doing good👍. What did you use for wifi this past season in the Bahamas? Thanks brutha. Navigate Safe 👍
We tethered and bought BTC cards but My Island WIFI seems to be a better option next time we go!
@@jandradventures awesome, yes that's the consensus 👍
Great job!
How much does one of those machines cost? I might have to get one for my wife.
The whole kit for the lsz-1 with the case and accessories is $1395...I have a Singer Heavy Duty 4452 that gets pretty close for $150 plus 40 for a case.
It was around 1400 dollars for the package that came with extra stuff. Pricey but I think it will last forever!
@@jandradventures I'm all for good tools. Especially the ones that will get a lot of use. And I imagine a sewing machine will come in handy on a sailboat.
@@troypaul2367 They are bit pricey, but one does get what they pay for. These are great quality and has long track record for being durable. As Allyn Onderdonk has stated, one can do just fine for most things with cheaper ones. Or one can get cheaper but still decent one, and simply get a better wheel to replace for it, as it is the wheel that does all the hard work in pushing through the stronger, thicker materials. Again while one can likely do that for bit cheaper, and while the wheel will be the same quality, will the entire product be as good quality and durable is another thing. Of course part of the pricey cost does include the name, but at least you know you are paying for known good product that should last. Is it the best bang for buck is debatable, but imho do not think you can wrong in getting a sailrite.
@@troypaul2367 They are also supposed to have great tech support, even for just sewing related questions.
