i LOVE kano ball cancels. Having just the threat of it on the field is so important to maintain your pressure. The added benefit being his bar instantly recharges if you decide to cancel, making it a pseudo-free pressure tool.
I wish I had found this video earlier, most other havik tutorials are from when the game released lol. You had a lot of good stuff here, I especially like the ex projectile oki setups. I started playing the game and maining Havik a week ago. I know he’s not considered the strongest, and I can tell why playing on ranked. But he’s a pretty cool design and not terribly complicated to get going with. I will definitely be coming back to this video. PS, I use Stryker Kameo for the quick mixups and the re-stand. I have yet to master this team but I do feel there is more I can explore with this pair.
great video! and for anyone wondering about kameos, i think the best kameos for havik change depending on the matchup. obv the kameos that keep you safe are always good (kano, stryker, sektor) but imo, mavado is one of if not his best all around kameos since you can get ~25-30% minimum off of almost any touch or string while getting up to ~40-45% midscreen at the best. scorpion is his other best imo simply because of his back kameo. scorp lets you play similarly to mavado albeit less convertable, but you play for his back kameo spear which is great against players you want to play more keepaway or zoney with. his 3rd best imo is jax since you have a great spacemaker with down kameo, ground pound setups which can give you crazy damage, and being able to confirm his back kameo off of bf1 into db1 giving you a full combo
He needs some other launchers besides bf1, and niche launcher db1. Even the tippy toes of f4 doesn’t connect into bf1 on hit which is tragic. I’m thinking new string, or a handful of specials cause he’s kinda lacking
I actually am really interested in picking up Havik so I think this will really help out

It’s very strong especially knives so if they jump Kano hits them

Stryker, Kano, Jax, sub zero , cyrax he’s got some kameos under his belt just struggle
Video is perfect lol. Learning this character to beat it. Lost to two different havik players using Kano yesterday. Couple stuff through me for a loop
He’s insanely good but need help

It depends but usually RUclips now or twitch when I’m playing random stuff
Im assuming this was before havik become top tier??
@@trappestarrgaming3422 why assume when you can see the date ?
@jayzbottomlip its says 2 months ago. I thought the patch happened at the same time. Sry I dnt kno the exact date a dlc dropped
Can you make a guide on Kitana?
@@dirge9287 might have to
How did you get that shao skin at the beginning
I think it was a season skin
What is the best kameo to use with havik?
I’d say it depends on mu but Kano kinda universal

He just need to change push back on his d4 toooo much push back
Mavado is super useful for setups and resets. If only it was prime Mavado 😔
Yeah and didn’t take two bars to push
Havik needs a damage buff and certain moves need faster start up his armor move so slow most characters can hit you and still have time to block .
This true I think he should definitely be slightly faster but doesn’t that mean he won’t absorb as many hits ?
Bruh how you give them a counter to my reiko then never release the video on how to play him just diabolical 😂😂😂
Saying his d4 should be plus 20 on hit is literally criminal 💀
@@tytrips8475 plenty of D4 are plus 15-20 gotta play the cast to say such lmao but I feel you
@@jayzbottomlip I play the entire cast dawg, his d4 is ridiculous as is and frame trapping off of it with a string would just be too much
…..lmaooo all I can do is laugh. You got it my boy
So everyone else can jail, on hit, their d4 except havik?🤨 ok bro
Bro tf is that name 😂
Chill chill lmao
