Not thinking by the time it's released the trend would be dying down. Speaking from experience, it is clearly a waste of Director Ys talent. He has good composition and the right beats. I see the Joss wand other tv directors influences on his work, it’s a shame everyone is miscast and the writing and sets are horrendous. The budget can be blamed for the sets, but so much is wrong… the use of a musical sting is good, the sound used for it is not. The way he’s flowed with the camera in the party opening shot looked great, but … it’s ruined entirely by what’s the guts and skin of the show. The theme of Robin Hood is bad, the plot and the characters suck. It could work with the right casting shift. Robyn should have been someone else, the girl playing much should have been Robyn, I think the other hood guy has plenty of charisma to hold a leading roll where the guy playing little John is flat and only there for his build which is not good for the plot he’s being used in. ..

I would imagine Robyn is every criminal defense attorney's nightmare for a client. Most defense attorneys would advise against committing more crimes but the attorney in the show actually participates in the crimes as well. I would not be surprised if the attorney would try to use attorney-client privilege when in reality it cannot be used to prevent the discovery of crimes because that would essentially be obstruction of justice.

I don't know how you've done it, my friend, but you've somehow made this "Robyn Hood" watchable, and dare I say, actually entertaining. Frankly, I don't know how you watch this show in its natural form.
What's interesting was in the Disney Robin Hood, I knew who the bad guy and good guy were because the bad guy took the little bunny's birthday present and the good guy gave him a birthday present. Then you have Robyn Hood, where she's the one stealing birthday presents. Even if he's a jerk and not a cute little bunny, it's still very Grinch-like behavior from our "hero."
The sad thing is, if he was a more humble man, he could have turned this whole situation around by saying something like, “Well, I was trying to go for something different, but if people are getting more entertainment out of other people roasting this show than the show itself, then I’ll count that as a success.”
Oh dear god it amazes me how our ancestors are infinitely more capable of writing good stories with far better morals. Do you know why Robin is a well beloved story because he was a smart man. Let me state this clearly while Robin did steal from the crown as the country was being overtaxed. He did NOT ever steal more then what was unfairly taken because A) if the person he gives it back to gets caught with that wealth they're dead or imprisoned. B) It would put more pressure onto the common folk via a bigger response from the crown. C) He wasn't against taxes or rich people just unfair ones or those who stole. I believe he felt people should pay their way in life. He wasn't stealing to make the poor rich as all that would is shift the power balance too far in the other direction and a new tyrant would arise. He was not after a revolution or an uprising. He was one man doing his best for those that needed it.

My favorite part of every week is hearing Az perform the glorious theme song.
