Sorry for the late reply. Yes you can contact the Tallman Foundation or St. Dominic's Childrens Home (both located in Gonzales, POS. I don't live in Trinidad but go there every year to help out the youth. I plan to return next year during the summer. I did a photo exchange with youth in Canada and Trini in Feb 2012. Would be great initiative to undertake!
Thanks I appreciate your kind words. Sorry for the late reply. You have one of the hardest and most important jobs in the world and that is being a teacher. May the Lord bless you and your students. Enjoy the Carnival season! Blessings.
Thank you so much for sharing this video and bringing to the forefront problems of our youths and one of the ways to help them get of the streets. Also for showcasing some of the beauty of the island. We need to stop hiding the problems and hopng they would go away. K-Girl
I really like the concept of using photography as an instrument of change. I work with my own students (elementary) in the same manner to look at their surrounds in a different perspective (border community of Texas and Mexico). I will be experiencing Trinidad late June for a week. Maybe a exchange or joint project can be developed between our communities?
Vincent, thank you for your response. I just recently returned from Trinidad, (Gasparillo). I would love to participate in a photo exchange project. My students are 5th graders with similar backgrounds. Please keep me informed as to how to set this project up. Greg Davis (Dragoncoach1)
