Girl welcome to the motherhood gang! Your body will never be the same but you created LIFE and style is meant to fit you, not the other way around (as you've been a fantastic reminder to me time and time again the last few years). So glad to see you back and creating again but also know that children = chaos at times so no stress if you're less consistent. Love you and your stuff anyway!!!!
Haha thanks! I’m very well aware of the bodily changes and wouldn’t change a single thing about them! They’re the most precious reminder of my little man, and I see no negative to it at all! Just need to get some new clothes - which is never a problem haha
I’m so glad you’re feeling great, happy and creative! Congratulations!!!💖✨ From an older momma to a new momma, consider storing the clothes that were your previous favorites, especially if they’re unique vintage. For now, your personal style may be feeling very momma-centric, but as our kids get older, we find space to want our feminine fun and fussy loveliness back in our outfits again!💖🌼💝💫
Me pulling out of the donation box 2 thrifted Martha Stewart quilted pillow cases that I'd intended to do something with but didn't know what to do with 'em... Hello little cropped vest! 😍 thanks for the inspiration Adey! OH! You can totally make a balaclava type bonnet with your granny square remnants - 1 for the top of your head, 2 squares coming down each side of your head over your ears and 2 down the back. Close up the front neck bottom with 1 more square to connect the lower left and right ear side flaps.
Well done flipping 2 vests with a baby!! I love the crochet vest it is gorgeous. I’ve only just found your channel, you are a breath of fresh air😊. Big hello from Australia
You are speaking my language by transforming quilted pillowcases into wearable art. I have made an entire collection of garments out of them. They are a great resource for making all kinds of garments that has been under used. Great job, congratulations, and welcome back!🥰
@@WellLoved There is debate about whether it's ok to make clothes out of quilts. Some say no, it's history and someone's love and time and money. My opinion is go for it, especially if it was donated or is in rough shape. Give it more life the way you see fit
This is so inspiring 😊 thanks you for being honest in your experimentation. 🙏 This is really helpful. It's looks possible even for beginner or when your are not so confident 😅
I’m glad you’re back as beautiful and fun as ever. I was not seen your vision and then I did the colors actually go so cute together the patterns and the colors all of it. I like it a lot especially like that in the winter it adds a little extra layer of color and warmth.
Aww thanks! I love the colors of that vest together too and feel like it was two different things that work really well together so I’m glad you see the vision now!
It’s so great to see your creative process- thanks for sharing! ❤ Ps- you can use a hand towel or bath towel folded up on your table as a make shift ironing board! My mom used to do this on the kitchen counter when she was quilting 😊
You are Well-Loved .... back atcha. : ) The vests turned out very Cool and cozy. The granny squares one is my fave. Tip .... After laundering it, lay flat to dry and shape while still damp. : )
These both turned out so awesome! I love them! I do crochet, and have been thinking of making myself a granny square vest. This makes me want to even more!
I have one of those old thread-crocheted tablecloths/bedspreads that are such impressive work, yet totally out of style. I’ve been trying to make it into a sort of khaftan-style thing to wear over a bright-colored slip. Beautiful old crocheted home-decor stuff makes wonderful upcycling material! I love your vest!
That purple pillow case pattern is so cool! Love how this turned out- I’ve been wanting to make one of these vest style tops- they are all over my Pinterest!!! Welcome back! We missed you!! ❤
I've have missed quite a few of your videos. But I wasn't aware you had moved from that really cute house in North Carolina 🤷♀️The one you painted with nice colors & designed the entrance area with that funky cool graphic art. Missed when that blog was aired if you shared why you moved.
I have a beautiful crochet dress that I inherited but it’s too small for me. I hope I can figure a way to make it fit me with a thin liner underneath. I don’t really sew and have done very little needlework but I really want to do it, so I will try.

My brain likes quilting better, I think it's the geometry of it, so seeing people do thrift flips out of their heads is amazing!
