Dimash wanted a prayer for the world, so he called up Igor Krutoy and this is the magic they made. A Christian hymn, composed by a Jewish man, and sung by a Muslim man. Truly, a prayer for the world “Ave Maria”is a variation adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore only the three opening notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note. At the end, the advanced vocal technique:“Messa Di Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. Singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!

I have always associated this song with the Catholic faith, and wondered if the Pope had heard it. Recently, at a religious leaders conclave, held in Kazakhstan, Dimash met and received a beautiful gold medal from the Pope. Dimash is Muslim, so it was very wonderful moment. Dimash is inclusive in his love for all of humanity, and he expounds this in actions, deeds, and his music.
This is not the Catholic 'Ave Maria'. This is a new composition by Igor Krutoy, at piano, for Dimash at Dimash's request. This is non denominational. Dimash is Muslim and Igor grew up Jewish. This is to honor motherhood and Mary and Dimash is the voice of angels :) So gorgeous and for everyone on the planet.

Thank you for doing this wonderful angelic performance by Dimash. :) There are a multitude of different 'Ava Maria' compositions. Most are familiar with the Schubert composition. This is NOT that and this is not a 'version' of it. This is a brand new composition by famous Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, who wrote it at the request of Dimash, for Dimash. This is not a 'Christian' prayer, but the voice of an angel in respect for motherhood and Mary. This is non denominational and is gorgeous and brilliant. This carries you to heaven. Dimash's vocals are stunning and incredibly beautiful.

This is actually a more recent performance than the SOS you reacted to; but Dimash is known to change his age like other people change their clothes. I can't explain how he does it, but often even within the same week, he'll appear as a teenager, and then as a 30-year-old man.
I think a lot of it is in his hairstyle.

This was July 2021, it’s the way he styles his hair that makes him look young younger! Dimash asked Igor Krutoy on piano to compose this new composition for him.
Notice at the beginning when Dimash is getting ready to sing you hear the heartbeat slowing down before stopping then Dimash sings its like the passing of life to be greeted by the angels. To me this is the closest you will get to heaven without going there
He seems so incredibly vulnerable, like he opened up to us, and held nothing back, nothing closed. What a moving, touching performance.

I heard that his performance of the night before had been a little shaky, that is, there had been a less than optimum audience reaction to his choice of song for it. The result was that he felt that if he didn't go powerfully for 100%, with "Adagio," he might be out of the running. However, I don't think this is the only reason he did so incredibly well with "Adagio." I think he invested a lot of his own personal feeling in it, and went to the extent of sharing his passion with his Dears, without a shred of restraint.

There are many Ave María, but this one is different. Igor Krutoy wrote it especially for Dimash. Dimash does all the vocals. Who else could have interpreted it with such quality?

It was a positively brilliant choice of Dimash when he went to Igor (his mentor with the closeness of a second dad), and asked him to compose a new version of "Ave Maria", but this time in vocalise form, with no lyrics, thus avoiding any misinterpretations of the different languages from around the globe What Dimash and Igor have given to the world is an EXPERIENCE that pulls you right out of this 3rd Dimension and up into the 4th, where our dreams and meditation lie For me, no other performance of any song in my life has touched me so deeply, stirring some sort of ancient soul memories, and I have vowed to listen to it at least once a day for the rest of my life❤❤❤❤❤❤

It was Dimash who asked Igor Krutoy (the pianist) and #1 composer in Russia (who came out of retirement to work with Dimash whenever possible--he has become a mentor and almost like a father) to write this vocalize version, which I feel is brilliant on the part of Dimash. I understand that Krutoy took the major chords from both Schubert and Gounod versions of Ave Maria to establish the base of the composition. Because there are so many languages on the planet, Dimash didn’t want actual words to interfere. Just notes and emotion - therefore, it becomes a universal performance that everyone can feel.
There are multiple versions of Ave Maria. The one you are thinking of is the Schubert version. Bach has a version. Caccini has a version. And countless others. This is the Igor Krutoy (the man at the piano) version written specifically for Dimash at his request. Igor is a famous composer who came out of retirement to work specifically with Dimash.
Dimash's Ave Maria was composed specifically for Dimash. There are a number of Ave Maria's by some of the greatest classical composers. It is the Catholics "Hail Mary" prayer that your Dad probably was familiar with. This Kutroy Ave Maria is written in the vocalise style, which has no words and is meant to showcase the abilities of the singer, in this case - Dimash. My classical singing friends tell me that the "messa di voce" sustained note at the end of this piece is one of the hardest vocal techniques to master. This to me, is a spiritual piece that transcends any one religion. You can also hear another Ave Maria like part in Dimash's Love is Like a Dream.

This was written by the pianist, Igor Krutoy, a very famous Russian composer who came out of retirement for Dimash after hearing him perform. He has written a number of songs for him including this vocalize. There is SO much of Dimash to discover, enjoy the discovery!! If you haven’t heard of Faouzia before, you should check her out too, absolutely beautiful young woman with crazy talent. Best to start with her most well known song (her song, not a cover) Tears of Gold (and always try to go for a stripped version, her and a piano are awesome!)

I just love Dimash voice. He can do wath ever he whants to. He did ask Igor Krutoy (that played the piano) about 2-3 monthes before this show to do a version of Ave Maria! Whenever you see Igor on the piano you know he has composed it1 he often look at Dimash to see when and where he is gonna end a not or something els so he can play the songs notes at the right time.
Dimash can hold longer notes than this!! In one song he dose 1 breath singing abouth 24 secounds notes from low to high to run after run!! Also he dosent alwayes go high upp in notes in every song!! The song "OKEY" he dosent but youre in the song anyway listening tens to what is he gonna do this tme becosue he dose everything with emotions and the MV to that one gives us so mutch to think about and woundering about! The switch back and forth between images of the happy couple and images of the girl being pestered by the NKVD officer, has the purpose of highlighting the contrast between the sun-lit beauty of good and love, and the grim-colored ugliness of evil intentions. The subject of the story is the fate of beauty, good and purity under an oppressive regime, and the self-entitlement of evil, that puts it`s brutal stamp over it, with the gunshot. The screen going black before the gunshot helps keep the focus on the attitude of evil, who doesn`t know to do anything other than hurt, successfully or not - instead of who the NKVD agent managed to hit or not. That gunshot remains ringing in the dark, making it timeless, leaving us with a bitter taste, and making it a powerful reminder of historical brutality.

The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! When Dimash was gonna go in to the other contestants he again turned to his father and asked him if he done good! That’s the kind of man he is humble, loving and respectful.

This song was written about 200 years ago with lyrics added later. Franz Schubert is the composer of the most common and most familiar version however there have been many versions of the song by other composers as well. This one composed by Igor Krutoy, The gentleman at the piano, specifically for Dimash at Dimash's request and is a vocalization (without lyrics).
It is most commonly known as a Catholic Prayer and is often heard at Christmas time.
It matters not whether this would be the kind of music you'd normally listen to. But having lived for a few decades at least I can't imagine not having any knowledge of the song at all.
