Lets take a humorous look at the story and lore of Bluepoint Games' 2020 PS5 remake of Fromsoftware's 2009 PS3 classic, Demon's Souls. Bluepoint have done an awesome job with this remake, but what the hell is it all about?
Well, it's mostly about a girl with dirty feet and avenging Steve Irwin. Guest appearance by Billie Eilish.

I had an existential crisis, Seeing him discarding the Pure bladestone
For real. In the original I swear I had around 500k souls before finally getting one Pure Bladestone. I think they increased the drop rate in the remaster because I got one REALLLY early and in pure white world.

Is there seriously a poison swamp area in every single souls game? Also that fire spell is so over powered

@@D3Maggs no no talking abot the swamp, there are no swamps in 2, there are several poison areas, but really no places where poisonous water slows you down, unless you count those three ponds in the earthen peak
I mean we did have a swamp in ds2, it just wasn't poison. they took the poison and put in the other 3-4 areas.
Shrine of Amana really has that mangrove swamp aesthetic, it just happens to also be clean and fucking beautiful.
Im not really a big fan of Demon Souls. Mostly that's because I haven't ever played the game or own a ps5.
Underrated comment right here. I played demons souls when it came out… while I’ve gotten to the final boss i still never beat it, I will say if you like dark souls and have the means to play it you should definitely give it a go
I had it on ps3 but didn't even pass the first zone so ditched it, I thought it was broken. later I learnt dying is OK in dark souls and I played the following games lol

I just now realized that Dark Souls 3 took the inspiration for FireLink shrine from Demon Souls, Nexus hub. Arch stones = Lords Of Cinder thrones. A circular area and other areas within the housing lol.

Seriously, the "Entire area is poison" idea has been used by from software, so many times at this point, they should just make a game where you constantly get poisoned, and call it "The original idea"
It is really good gameplay design though. Really makes new players apprehensive about touching the water even though they must go through it to progress. Forces you into an uncomfortable situation, which in turn causes you to learn about the game and yourself. You're made to test your mettle, so to speak.
This is, señor, real quality content.

You know why you pick the good ending? Not just because you're not a psychopath, but also because the bad ending is potentially what kicks off all of the Dark Souls series, meaning all those games get made, meaning I play them, and fuck that

the remake is not good, they fucked up the dream dense atmosphere and the character creatiion is like a mmo game, play the ps3 version if you can, is unmatchable
and they butchered the awesome music of the original
I really don't get why people love this thing so much 😅 Among all soulsborne I found this to be the most boring. The lamest bosses in the entire series. The new one looks pretty good but so does Godfall 🤦🏼♂️ I don't know. It was a big dissappointment to me. I will play any soulsborne, Nioh or Surge game over this one 😂 Could you please do a Nioh series? 👀
well it is the oldest of the games so its no surprise they improved afterwards
