Dust to Dust is the prologue of their concept album “Queen of the Murder Scene.” It’s a remarkable album written basically by teenagers. If you really want to deep dive that album, react to the Lunario concert where they played the album live in order. It’s a thing to behold!
Translation of the sermon delivered by Rudy, their manager since they were 11, 14 and 16. "Brother! Salvation is something you earn! Let go of your hand of resentment and awaken to a new light within you, even if your brothers try to plunge you into darkness!"
Dark...yes! thats why you need to make sure to check their second album Queen of the Murder Scene from start to finish, it is a concept album, if you react to random songs it wont make much sense(Dust to dust is the first song from it)
TWA here too lol. They brought me out of rock retirement about 5 years ago when I discovered them. I worked as a stagehand in Detroit and it worked a lot of shows and seen a lot of bands starting in the late '70s on up and these ladies are just the real deal. Way to go back and see some of the older stuff when they were REALLY young. The fact that they've been a band for 10 years now shows in the professionalism and showmanship they have on the stage. They've never had fear on the stage. They are going straight to the top!!⚡⚡⚡
Ah, yes, as others have mentioned, you've touched on _Queen of the Murder Scene._ This is a funeral, with Pau singing the "good" side of the girl (relatively speaking) and Dany the evil side, screaming as her plans are defeated. Or perhaps her plans were successfully completed. The Spanish section is their manager playing the part of a preacher, saying that you can receive salvation and to not let others drag you into darkness.
This is the opening song from their Queen of the Murder Scene concept album. They play a few other songs from that record during the Teatro Metropolitan concert, but it really needs to be listened to in its entirety to "get" the lyrics. I'd highly recommend the Lunario show and watch them play the whole album as it was intended (with a few other songs thrown in) Be warned, QotMS is a DARK record.
The lyrics are dark because Dust to Dust is the prologue song to the concept album they wrote while IN HIGH SCHOOL! It tells the story of a young girl's unrequited love, and her descent into obsession, madness, murder and death. You can react to the whole album from their Lunario concert where Dany is in character and full make-up as the young girl (the Queen). The man's voice in this song is Rudy, their manager; he plays the role of the Preacher at the Queen's funeral. Now to really blow your mind...Ale wrote and composed most of this song at age 11. Not kidding. She's been playing a Spector bass since age 13 and signed as a Spector artist at age 15. She also has Perfect Pitch. Dany is a PRS artist. Thanks for the reaction!
Well-you’ve gone and done it! DUST TO DUST is the first song of the Queen of the Murder Scene (commonly referred to as QOTMS) album. The ‘darkness’ that you see comes from the overall tone of this amazing concept album (that was written by teenagers and rivals The Wall in its storytelling). I don’t want to give too much away-you are still working through the Teatro Metropolitan show. BUT-when you are done you REALLY need to react to the entire QOTMS Lunario concert where they first debuted the album on stage! It’s simply a masterpiece. While you are going thru the songs, refer to the excellent synopsis written by Timberwolf which contains summaries of each of the songs as well as links to them-in order! Start again with Dust to Dust and go through the whole story. To find Timberwolf’s synopsis, Google THE WARNING’S QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE MEANING. It is the first ‘hit’ on the Google search. Sneak-Preview: QOTMS is the story of unrequited love, obsession, psychosis, murder and mayhem! Dust to Dust is the Prologue to the story. I’ll leave it at that for now!
They have Luis (DAD), Lalo (Sound engineer), and Beto (Final mixer this show) 3 top notch sound engineers, I can't tell you how many reactors have said kudos to the engineers they are one heck of a team with the girls. Dad and Lalo handle the sound when they tour, Beto has his own band he plays with, Beto is also Pau's drum coach.
the voice in the middle of the song is rudy their manager . he played the preacher pau change her play because she started to endure some physical pain
I keep thinking to myself, i wish they could have done songs like this from the Queen of the Murder Scene album, live on mtv vmas. Oh well… Maybe one day
Pau, not so much matured but stronger. When she was much younger, she didn't have the strength to be as loud as she wanted to sound. Taylor Hawkins said that you learn to hit louder with wrist strength so you don't wear yourself out using your whole body. And Pau sings as well, so conserving energy is essential!
I kind of so dearly want to see a "re-release" if QOTMS done, like maybe an anniversary album. Just because as good as they were back then, they're even _better_ now... hearing them do the whole album with their modern maturity and skill today would be an absolute delight!!
Go to the TedX show when the band was still quite young and watch Pau sing Survive. It's a revelation. Until you've heard many more songs you're in the phase where your favorite song is probably the last one you heard.
Though my favorite song from TW tends to change regularly, this song has a permanent spot in my top five songs from TW! ⚡️🔥🤘 It is also the song that got me stuck in the rabbit hole.. 🥰🤟 Grtz from The Netherlands
I would suggest watching Tidal Rising, which is a documentary about the band, narrated by the girls themselves. They are all Gen Z. Dany was born in 2000. Although many of their lyrics seem “cynical,” hearing from them in person shows that they are just writing about their world and concerns they have about social media. Don’t worry about reacting to a documentary. We’ll all be there with you.
I appreciate you shouting out TWA, many a reaction channel have been built on a foundation of heavy doses of this band. Just the other day I was your 23rd sub, you’re now at 800. Well done!
This is an amazing song, being the first song - a prologue the the concept album Queen of the Murder scene, which was written in the period between 2016/7 maybe early 2018 it was released in 2018 so that would have made them 11/15 to 13/17 when this was conceived. When you look through the album you can see how mature their songwriting was already. Best thing now you’ve opened Pandora’s box is to look what’s inside in chronological order! This is actually my favourite album from them so far, it’s just was beyond what you could even dream about from musicians their age! Nice reaction as to be expected, I like your age related comments at the end and can entirely relate to them 😂
Thank you, and I enjoyed your insightful and genuine comments during your reaction. Please begin 2024 generously and spread the love that the Warning demonstrates. Their message is profound. Please provide links to the artist's original video (thanks)) AND official channels in your description. Most importantly, encourage viewers to use those links to watch, like, share, and comment. Your verbal encouragement will lead viewers to the artist's links as well as your valuable information, since most do not go to your descriptions on their own. You may also include links to the artists' social media and streaming services. Each artist provides so much joy to all of us, and reactors have a platform that can help boost both artist and reactor analytics on RUclips. Help enable The warning to attain their goal of singing for the entire world. This should apply to all featured artists on your channel. Thanks in advance for doing your part. Peace and love.
Definitely in my top 5. You’re right, there is no bottom. This one is dark, by design. And just to be clear for the record, I brought up your use of cynical just to differentiate it from dark in general. I always think of cynical as having a snarky or sarcastic element, which I don’t find in their work. But it’s pure discussion , no disagreements, just trying to hammer out our definitions here. Thanks, nice reaction.
This is another masterpiece of the incredible concept album of the same name "Queen Of The Murder Scene", a masterfully crafted work of art filled with emotion and extraordinary sensations by Dany, Pau and Ale with the characteristic professionalism carried out in all their projects. Each of the songs in this conceptual masterpiece are an example of the great level of quality in which these 3 genius artists perform. Every time I find myself in front of one of the great pieces of "QOTMS" I admire it again for everything it implies, because it’s not only about how masterful each of their songs is made, but also about how young they were, but also about the fact that it was their second album barely, but it's also that it's not in their own language… This, added to the brilliance of their performance, results in a permanent admiration for them, only if we are truly aware of all of it. 🤘😁👍
The ending belt by Dany while Pau kills the fill is right up there with the ending to Dull Knives both are incredible to watch. They have so much fun on stage Ale's bassline right from the start is a pounding wave of sound right through. Really love this song Pau's talent on full display in this one. Thanks great reaction. You do need to do Disciple soon it's an insane banger where Pau and Dany share lead vocals. 🔥⚡⚡⚡
Fun Fact: the concerts at the Metropolitan Theater (Teatro Metropolitan) or Lunario are in Mexico City (CDMX) which is 2240m (7350ft) above sea level... that's higher than Denver, CO! Monterrey, DPA/TW's home town, is only 540m (1770ft) above sea level... generally they're not on location long enough to be fully acclimatized to the altitude before performing... consider that when (re)listening to Dany belting out that last looooong note in *Dust to Dust* at the Metropolitan Theater in Aug 2022 😜 Fun Fact: today (2024), Pau (drums) has been singing and drumming for over 15 years... she sings while doing aerobic exercises and running... this helps to build and maintain her stamina and breath control so she can sing cleanly and clearly while affectionately beating her drums into submission 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Look at it this way. Instead of have a favorite song from a band. Just have a favorite band and then there is no need to rank them. And you are right, the margin between songs is so minimal that it doesn't matter.
*Dust to Dust* *Dust to Dust* is the intro song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul... the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says... Brother! Salvation is something that is earned! Let go of your hand of resentment and Wake up to a new light within you Although your brothers try Plunge into the darkness DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs... i like Lunario because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons... as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Absolutely EPIC live performance!! These siters are overwhelmingly talented! They are the best power trio of XXI century! Paulina is a great drummer, singer, songwriter and person! Awesome Dany vocals at the end of the song! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
here is some food for thought for us old timers, does the Warning remind you of a female version of Triumph Rick Emmett guitar (highly under rated imo) and vocals, Gil Moore on drums and lead vocals and holding the fort down is Mike Levine on bass and keyboard. Both bands usually have a point to make with their lyrics. Both hard rock bands, both are friggin amazing.Rick and Dani are incredible front people and they both groups put on incredible live performances.
Yes, this is dark. The opening song of the equivalent of a ‘rock opera’. They first performed the album live in its entirety in proper sequence in 2018 at the Lunario CMDX. The album tells a tragic grim story of the ‘Queen’s’ obsession that descends into madness and murder. I highly recommend the Lunario concert to get a ‘complete’ presentation of the album. Dany played the Queen and stayed in character throughout the concert. You can see her transformation with each song, losing her battle with her inner demons. She is ‘scarred’ on her neck and hand as part of her character. During the breakdown you only hear a prerecorded sermon in Spanish. At the Lunario their manager Rudy joined them on stage in the role of a preacher preaching to the masses. Chills!
It sounds like you'll have to attend a Warning concert. There's nothing quite like 110dBA of The Warning in your face with the bass louder than that. Bring your Kevlar jacket and good ear plugs. As you can tell from the fan videos, their live sound is exceptional and consistent. Between dad Luis, sound engineer Lalo Plaza, stage manager/drum wiz Carlos (last name?) and the knowledgable attention and patience of the girls to getting a great sound at all levels, as opposed to the ego (insecurity?) - driven sounds of so many musicians, they kill it every time.
Ese coro al final de Daniela es como escuchar a un ángel del apocalipsis anunciando el final de los tiempos. Es como la muerte arrasando millones de vidas con un solo pase de su guadaña
The Warning "Breath" (live) ruclips.net/video/7wrsU7Z7gD0/видео.htmlsi=k32gZefJzIUp4DB- The song is actually sung by Pau on the piano in front of 8000 people. This is something special because Pau never wanted to play this song live. That's why there is usually just an audio track at the concerts during the intermission. The reason for this is that this song is very close to Pau, very personal. Here she makes an exception because of the tenth anniversary and because of the 8000 fans. She say a few words about this in the beginning. It's all subtitled in English (just turn it on) and you have to see it.
Ey, amigo. Qué tengas lindos momentos con The Warning. Saludos enormes.
From their 2018 album when they were 18-16-13. TWA has been long aware these girls were generational prodigies, but noobs are always gobsmacked when they find out this explosive banger was written by teenagers, and a middle school girl developed that churning baseline.
There’s a video of Pau explaining she switched to a heavier drumstick, which allows her to get the same level of sound without having to exert herself more than necessary. I think it’s in the gearmasters video if I’m not mistaken.
You’re right Pau does not flail her arms like she did when she was younger. Part of that is perhaps conscious control, but also because she has gotten stronger with age (check out her shoulders) and she has been using heavier sticks also, so she no longer needs to flail to get the sound she wants.
I think the meaning of the entirety of the song is encapsulated in the Mexican Preacher's Sermon - Salvation is possible, but you have to ASK for it and EARN it!
This is the overture to Queen of the Murder Scene (QOTMS) and it sets the tone for this dark and disturbing concept album they recorded in their teens. You really do need to work your way through their live performance of this at Lunario in November of 2018. It's a bit overwhelming to try and digest all at once. It deserves to be savoured one bite at a time, in sequence. In 2018 we have Dany at 18, Pau at 16 and Ale at 13.
The lyrics to me sounds like a carnival barker trying to get people to listen this is amazing story that is about to unravel on the rest of the album. It is a concept album that should be listened to in order.
Watch carefully during the first verse, because Pau was playing one handed for a bit while she was reaching for another stick. That voice you hear during the double time interlude is their co-manager Rudy. Here is what he says and I included the English translation: Hermano la salvación Es algo que se gana Suelta tu mano del rencor y despierta a una nueva luz Adentro de ti aunque tus hermanos Intenten sumirte en la obscuridad Brother salvation It's something you earn Release your hand of resentment and wake up to a new light Inside you although your brothers They try to plunge you into darkness
❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡🔥we are glad to have you . this is just one song from a concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" mostly written by Pau as a very young teen the story she tells is just another reason not to get on her bad side lol
Oh yes, as to Pauanimal, she is a bit more restrained but i LOVE❤ her wildly enthusiastic drum work of her 15 year old bad self. See the TED talks they did for that girl.
I'm giving ya a like just for the outro. LOL TW army is quite loyal with few exceptions. Dust to Dust is 1 of their long time signature songs and it's on pretty much every set list.
You should check out “The RenaissanceMan” , and his version of this song. It has orchestration. He also is part of the army! He has many great reactions 🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘
This one has awesome sound. A recent video with equally great sound has an extended outro, and segues into Dull Knives; both of these are songs from their Queen of the Murder Scene album. Go to the Lunario concert for that, after you come up fir air.
You've already received all the requisite information regarding D2D. I'll just mention this because it blows my mind to even contemplate. "Holy sh!t! That was crazy." Relic, they were barely teens when they wrote this. Barely teens. The imagination and inspiration that is required to write at this level can only be described as genius. There is no other explanation. They call it "sibling magic". Everything, every nuance, is masterful. Actually, let's just call it a masterpiece. That is the entire Queen of the Murder Scene album. It's a masterpiece, and you just scratched the surface.
Pau has injured herself in the past because of how hard she hits the drums. So her style evolved out of self preservation as much as gaining more accuracy and focus on her strikes.
The best way to find out what the song means and how it fits into the Queen of the Murder Scene album as well as what the album is about watch The Warning VLOGs #23, #25, #26 (there is no VLOG 24). They explain each song in detail, how they wrote them, the difficulties they encountered putting the album together. That way you don't get "blasted" by misinterpreting any of the other songs, because there are several they play at this concert. QOTMS is only their 2nd album and it is a concept album like "Tommy" and "The Wall" so taken out of context of the album the songs can seem disturbing because the story the album tells is dark. In the video: The Warning - Tidal Rising Documentary the girls talk about themselves and explain all of their albums, including their first EP "Escape the Mind." This is not a typical 3rd party documentary. This is the three of them straight up talking without even a narrator asking questions. It is very good and you get a bit of an insight of their personalities and what they are like off stage and away from performing. It is recorded at home in their home studio they call "The Warning Cave." So, they are in an informal, comfortable setting. They give further insights into the QOTMS album they don't necessarily mention in the VLOGs. Watch these as a reaction. It isn't something you have to do on your own time. We will be with you because we like to see how others react to them. They are so much fun in these settings. You'll see. Take my word for it. You won't be disappointed, and you won't get put on blast for misinterpreting something. 😎👍
other great reactors that love The Warning are BEL Development, Ashlena, Zack Reacts, Justin Pearce Music, Offset Era, Regeneration Nation TV, muSIK., Enter the Cronic....I guess I watch a lot of them lol
5:45 - That's the "Mexican Preacher" part I mentioned in my earlier comment - I love that one performance where they have their stage manager do it live! But it's a triggered track here - sermonizing about Salvation and the surrender required to obtain it (as I understand it). (and the true meaning of the lyrics of the sermon,, the song, the entire album, aren't truly revealed until that heartbreaking last few notes...)
QOTMS is a Masterpiece concept album, written by 18, 16, and 13 year olds, which easily could be a Broadway Musical. Is it dark.... absolutely. As the story goes, Pau brought the idea to the sisters, and Dany was like, "Ok, cool, but why so much blood?". You must take the entire album in order, and I suggest the "Lunario CDMX" show from 2018.
I'm on it. I think I'm starting the Queen of the Murder Scene concert and I'm going to go song by song (this is what's been requested many times). Thanks for watching!
Their lyrics "on the dark side"? Don't forget, they are a metal band. Soft metal/hard rock, and metal is not unfamiliar with darkness. In fact, much much darker than TW's typical lyrics.
Please react to The Warning´s "Black Holes", there's an incredible version of this song in "The Warning UK Private Acoustic Show" - it's the opening track!
So yea, a million others have already said all this, but for the sake of “engagement” (is that you tubes term?) I’ll write it all again😊 This is the prolog to the greatest concept album ever written! (Sorry not sorry Roger Waters) Well, for sure the greatest ever written by an emo teen who recently discovered K-pop. Though along with Operation Mindcrime, Queen of the Murder Scene is top of my list. Every song is a standalone hit but the lyrics may confuse without the full story in order. Lunario is the best setting for the complete telling of the story, including the artwork that accompanies the album. & the spoken Spanish in the song? That is the words of a preacher talking about salvation, in the middle of a song called Dust To Dust, on an album called Queen of the Murder Scene … you sort of get a sense of the story 😊
Hi Scott, first of all her older drumming style was ala Keith Moon and she did mostly for performance cuz as you commented on she developed a less pronounced method because she achieves the same sound without having to over-display and she probably was advised that doing her earlier style long-term could actually do her physical harm and the adjustment was certainly giving consideration as investment. Now to expound upon my definition of The Warning’s make up and some “pureists” hate me when I do this but it is strictly in the context of contrast not comparison. The Pureists I refer to are The Beatles ones. The Beatles are my lifetime number group all time so I’m allowed to say this. Like Them TW never stands still with their music. From their beginning work to now each album showed their development of songwriting, constantly changing with different layers being added depending on what experiences they were witnessing around them, reading about, living themselves, or what could be created. Their discography reflects that transition and evolution of the complexities they would experiment with. Like The Beatles they have a concept album yet it only took them album #2 (Queen Of The Murder Scene) for that to be born of an idea sparked by Pau and embraced and all crafted together with the result many consider a masterpiece worthy of a Broadway Rock Opera. This being a completed accomplishment by an 18, 16, and 13 year olds. Astonishing. Despite a disruption of of their first MAJOR tour due to COVID, they still pressed on evolving with there musical supported boost from David Bandeth and LAVA Records coming out with the MAYDAY EP & ERROR LP, the latter releasing in June 2022 during their restarted touring for the MAYDAY release. Now contrasting again to The Beatles, the other noteworthy aspect is their experimentation which is the main catalyst to their progressive songwriting. They constantly search for new sounds while they always seems to have the knack to combine elements from different genres whether with individual songs in an album or within one song. Like taking a Rock-based song and giving it a Pop-Rock hook or beat or adding a Punk-rock riff, be it bass or lead/rhythm to add grit. I dare to say that would probably be the only area as far as songwriting diversity goes that they excel at much more frequently. Bare in mind they have a heavy influenced foundation with rock artists including The Beatles, Rush, Pink Floyd, KISS, ACDC, etc…The other noteworthy factor towards TW’s resume’ is they all can sing lead. They’re now only 24, 22, & 19 so as a band they’ve been at it for 10 years and don’t plan stopping anytime soon. I’ll never claim they are better than The Beatles or will replace them however they potentially can redefine what rock music rebirthing to become now because true rock was dead and they are making a mark, and being joined by a few others, towards it thriving again. ⚠️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Oh my. Thank you for taking the time to write out such a detailed, eloquent comment. I love the Beatles analogies. Big Beatle fan myself and can see the comparisons you're making. Thanks for that!
Dust to Dust is the prologue of their concept album “Queen of the Murder Scene.” It’s a remarkable album written basically by teenagers. If you really want to deep dive that album, react to the Lunario concert where they played the album live in order. It’s a thing to behold!
well worth it!!!!!!!!!! blows your mind..
You can't go wrong with the Lunario concept concert!
And that concert was back in 2018!
@@TeemarkConvairYeah the Lunario 2018 concert is a classic now
Even though this is an older song, it is still one of my favorites! And what a great showcase for our 2023 Drumeo Rock drummer of the Year!
Queen of the Murder Scene...one of the best albums ever!...just sayin'
Ah yes, thank you! I'm sure this will rock your world. This is the official "Holy Sh!t!" song because that's the most common reaction.
Translation of the sermon delivered by Rudy, their manager since they were 11, 14 and 16.
"Brother! Salvation is something you earn! Let go of your hand of resentment and awaken to a new light within you, even if your brothers try to plunge you into darkness!"
Ah yeah, thanks, "earned" is the word I was looking for in my earlier comment, thanks. Not just "asked for". "Earned."
This concept album is a masterpiece, written, recorded and released by absolutely amazing kids.
Dark...yes! thats why you need to make sure to check their second album Queen of the Murder Scene from start to finish, it is a concept album, if you react to random songs it wont make much sense(Dust to dust is the first song from it)
The Warning Effect is the last song you heard from them is your new favorite 🔥🤘
ABSOLUTELY!!❤
Well put!
About 90% of the Warning songs are started by Pau then they all get together and finish the writing process. This is one of the few songs Ale started
All their videos, all shows are dope. U can choose random u'll have fun.
Yes, DARK and DEEP. Very DEEP!
Some tips: there is no bottom because they are incapable of writing bad songs, and the last song you hear is always your new favorite.
I love that song sooooo much. They seem warriors on the stage. Amazonas of Rock 🔥🔥🔥🔥😎🥰
The Warning!! 🔥 🤘
Dany's guitar tone is amazing and as a lifelong tone chasing guitar player...I'm a bit jealous
next recommendation, just one word: "SURVIVE"
the best outro ever 🤘🤘
The Warning, Nightwish, Jinjer, Arch Enemy, Sabaton, Aurora, Rammstein armies signing in 😈😎🇧🇻
They have Luis (DAD), Lalo (Sound engineer), and Beto (Final mixer this show) 3 top notch sound engineers, I can't tell you how many reactors have said kudos to the engineers they are one heck of a team with the girls. Dad and Lalo handle the sound when they tour, Beto has his own band he plays with, Beto is also Pau's drum coach.
the voice in the middle of the song is rudy their manager . he played the preacher
pau change her play because she started to endure some physical pain
If Dust to Dust doesn't get you moving, check your pulse. May not be anything moving there, either.
I keep thinking to myself, i wish they could have done songs like this from the Queen of the Murder Scene album, live on mtv vmas. Oh well… Maybe one day
That's the best thing about The Warning, there are no bottoms. Everything is tops!
@@MrJest2 I'd pay good money for a remastering of 'Escape the Mind' and 'XXI Century Blood' with better production and their more mature voices.
The last The Warning song you heard is your favorite The Warning song. That's just how it is. ⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘
When you listen to the QOTMS CD start to finish you're just like "WOW!"🤘⚡
Go to the TedX show when the band was still quite young and watch Pau sing Survive. It's a revelation.
Until you've heard many more songs you're in the phase where your favorite song is probably the last one you heard.
Though my favorite song from TW tends to change regularly, this song has a permanent spot in my top five songs from TW! ⚡️🔥🤘
It is also the song that got me stuck in the rabbit hole.. 🥰🤟

Every time I find myself in front of one of the great pieces of "QOTMS" I admire it again for everything it implies, because it’s not only about how masterful each of their songs is made, but also about how young they were, but also about the fact that it was their second album barely, but it's also that it's not in their own language…
This, added to the brilliance of their performance, results in a permanent admiration for them, only if we are truly aware of all of it.
🤘😁👍
"DEATH GOES...!!!!" Love Dany's harmony !!
Excellent my friend!!!
True! Funny...
Pau changed here drum stocks from 5A to 5B and those are heavier so she can hit harder with them using here wrist more.
Fun Fact: the concerts at the Metropolitan Theater (Teatro Metropolitan) or Lunario are in Mexico City (CDMX) which is 2240m (7350ft) above sea level... that's higher than Denver, CO! Monterrey, DPA/TW's home town, is only 540m (1770ft) above sea level... generally they're not on location long enough to be fully acclimatized to the altitude before performing... consider that when (re)listening to Dany belting out that last looooong note in *Dust to Dust* at the Metropolitan Theater in Aug 2022 😜
Fun Fact: today (2024), Pau (drums) has been singing and drumming for over 15 years... she sings while doing aerobic exercises and running... this helps to build and maintain her stamina and breath control so she can sing cleanly and clearly while affectionately beating her drums into submission 😹
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Look at it this way. Instead of have a favorite song from a band. Just have a favorite band and then there is no need to rank them. And you are right, the margin between songs is so minimal that it doesn't matter.
*Dust to Dust*
*Dust to Dust* is the intro song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS)... it is inviting you in to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul...
the Spanish speaking part is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says...
Brother! Salvation is something that is earned!
Let go of your hand of resentment and
Wake up to a new light within you
Although your brothers try
Plunge into the darkness
DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs... i like Lunario because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons...
as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Loved the volume of your video. Best listen I've had in a reaction video to date. Keep it up brother.
And from here the sky is the limit!
WOW New follower, The Warning Is The Best rock ban in México, AND I am a photograoher
Love this journey !!. I brought you Freeze The Fall and now how about the band Pacifica, and the song Anita . BE GOOD TO ONE ANOTHER AND ROCK ON !!
As others have probably said, this song is the intro to a concept album.
Pau was in her "emo phase" of life and well, this was the result.
Yep Pau was a big MCR fan back then and loved The Black Parade album, like we all did!😎
Such a masterpiece !! My favorite !!!
Damn I love your channel, I never knew that there were other great bands, other than. THE WARNING!!!
Thanks! It's true... I'm learning about all kinds of stuff from this channel! Enjoy the ride with me :)
The camera joke at the end of the video - Hilarious !!!!
Ese coro al final de Daniela es como escuchar a un ángel del apocalipsis anunciando el final de los tiempos. Es como la muerte arrasando millones de vidas con un solo pase de su guadaña
The Warning "Breath" (live) ruclips.net/video/7wrsU7Z7gD0/видео.htmlsi=k32gZefJzIUp4DB-
The song is actually sung by Pau on the piano in front of 8000 people.
"Holly Shit!" says it all!
Looking forward to the next
Me gusta lo de The Warning Army .......Viva México!!!!!
Luv yur reaction, if you haven’t already check out “Survive “ from the same concert , you’ll luv the way Dany n Pau exchange vocal leads.
There’s a video of Pau explaining she switched to a heavier drumstick, which allows her to get the same level of sound without having to exert herself more than necessary. I think it’s in the gearmasters video if I’m not mistaken.
Here's another one:
Huri Hau-Masquerade.
Mexican prog metal band that opened for The Warning last fall.
It's the army. And you CAN NOT do too many TW reactions in a row.
The lyrics to me sounds like a carnival barker trying to get people to listen this is amazing story that is about to unravel on the rest of the album. It is a concept album that should be listened to in order.
Love the reaction. Liiiitle bit of TMI at the end. 😂
Hey.... I'm a photography bug. What can I tell you? :)
Watch carefully during the first verse, because Pau was playing one handed for a bit while she was reaching for another stick.
That voice you hear during the double time interlude is their co-manager Rudy. Here is what he says and I included the English translation:
Hermano la salvación
Es algo que se gana
Suelta tu mano del rencor y despierta a una nueva luz
Adentro de ti aunque tus hermanos
Intenten sumirte en la obscuridad
Brother salvation
It's something you earn
Release your hand of resentment and wake up to a new light
Inside you although your brothers
They try to plunge you into darkness
❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡🔥we are glad to have you . this is just one song from a concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" mostly written by Pau as a very young teen the story she tells is just another reason not to get on her bad side lol
Oh yes, as to Pauanimal, she is a bit more restrained but i LOVE❤ her wildly enthusiastic drum work of her 15 year old bad self. See the TED talks they did for that girl.
I'm giving ya a like just for the outro. LOL TW army is quite loyal with few exceptions. Dust to Dust is 1 of their long time signature songs and it's on pretty much every set list.
thx, brother :)
You should check out “The RenaissanceMan” , and his version of this song. It has orchestration. He also is part of the army! He has many great reactions 🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️🤘
Did you notice Paulina keeping the beat with her right hand as she reaches behind her to adjust her Inearz audio pack?
Wow!
Great song great reaction
Don't forget Strongdad. Hes a huge fan and friend to DPA.
@@matt8097 He is great! I did forget, my bad. I know I missed a couple
5:45 - That's the "Mexican Preacher" part I mentioned in my earlier comment - I love that one performance where they have their stage manager do it live! But it's a triggered track here - sermonizing about Salvation and the surrender required to obtain it (as I understand it).
(and the true meaning of the lyrics of the sermon,, the song, the entire album, aren't truly revealed until that heartbreaking last few notes...)
a-ha! more research needed! :)
here's a concept...the entire storyline for Queen of the Murder Scene came from the mind of a 14yr old Pau!
Your Justin Hawkins impersonation was spot on
LOL... he's a nut
There's something seriously wrong with this band. Their songs are so incredible they're just too short. We want more more more.
My friend... The Warning Queen of The Murden Scene/ please
on my list! thx
Check put their 2 Ted Talks. They will give you some great background information about The Warning
The male voice is their manager Rudy pretending to be a preacher.

The harmonies in this song specifically remind me of System of a Down
So yea, a million others have already said all this, but for the sake of “engagement” (is that you tubes term?) I’ll write it all again😊
This is the prolog to the greatest concept album ever written!
