Thanks for all your input . Pulled the trigger today and bought 2024 SV King Cab 4x4. Really needed the 6 foot bed for tools. I hardly never have passengers, so no back seat works for me. I really love the stance of your truck with the 6” lift. Thanks for the vids. 😊
Now you really see the difference in totally open diffs and yours with abls. I've been noticing you are getting more used to it too. It's not a locker but someone that knows exactly how to make it work for them It's pretty good shit.
I am definitely getting more use to it and better and knowing the truck. My buddy in the Jeep also forgot to disconnect the sway bars. Probably would've helps quite a bit on some of it.
Hey im fairly used to a little bit of offroad stuff and i tell i believe the ol brown eye would have puckered a little with my back wheel on that jeep that high off the ground.
@@4wdAdventurz hey was just going to throw this out there. Yall be careful when hooking tow ropes and anchor points and all that. There was a guy about a year ago I saw pictures on here somewhere he was out with his wife and kids in his truck and I'm pretty sure was fairly used to offroad stuff. Anyway another guy was pulling him and the ball or whatever it was connected to came straight back dead center of the driver's side. In his face right in front of his wife and kids. When I think about some of the straight garbage we used to pull with hook to and how we hooked it with never a second thought. Especially with these jerk straps they have now that's a shit load of force. Just keep that in mind.
yes! I remember that. Maybe a year or two ago it kind of went viral. We only had a toe strap with us and not a kinetic rope. As you could see in the video, I didnt yank on him at all. It was a slow, steady pull. also didn’t hook to the ball hitch I was hooked to the safety chain latches on the side hitch. I actually just got a deal with Yankam ropes. Should have a nice kinetic rope and soft shackle set up in the next couple weeks.👀👀

Congrats man! Glad some of the videos helped you make youre decision!
Nice jeep joe!!!
Come on over to canaveral groves tomorrow. Florida trail stopper group has a few people coming this way
CV is broke in the Nissan. 😬
@4wdAdventurz that's a 20 minute job lol
@@floppynissan1744 getting it fixed Saturday. Hopefully that's all that's wrong. The video of me breaking it will be up Sunday 😂
On that Jeep check the vent on the transmission make sure it’s there not cracked. Sounds like water 💦 in your fluid
I'll definitely tell my buddy that! Thanks!
I really like that Jeep. My fear of buying something like that is you never know what was done or if anything was right.
that’s what makes the first trail ride so exciting🤣. for example, we did not know the front bumper was held on with one bolt. 😂😂😂
Fellow xj owner here. Would love to join you one day and go wheelin! I live in Tampa
His me up on Instagram! 4wd_Adventurz. I'm always down for a ride!
Another great video, enjoy watching these. Hope to meet you out on the trail

Haha. Yeah some of those are a little sketchy. We drove by a few other ones but he wasn't up to it yet. Maybe next time.

@@4wdAdventurz yeah I wasn't talking about anything you did it just made me think of it.
did you see the video that’s going around now of the guy who had a kinetic rope go through his windshield? It's pretty crazy
Those Jeeps are nice. Wouldn't mind finding one to take some load of my truck.
The XJ did good! I wouldn't mind having one, myself..
Does the Nissan have some sort of brake assisted traction control?
Yes
Jeep did OK for being 25 years old.
It really did. I was impressed
Next time you go out I wouldn't mind rolling with you guys if I don't have reserve weekend! I commented on your FB post
Definitely! I’ll probably make a post on the Offroad Mafia page next time I go out to see if anyone wants to come with.
Make a video of Ford vs Nissan@@4wdAdventurz
That's a nice XJ. I miss mine. Did he have the sway disconnected? If not, that would have helped a ton.
No I think the swaybars were still connected.
Im second!
