Best thing I ever bought for my R3 last year when I started to ride. Its amazing how much stuff you can pack inside. It's the only tail bag I would ever reccomend.
I snagged the 1050 when it first came out and it served me extremely well.. love it as a little commuter-type bag and to carry things like a camera and drinks for longer day-rides.

That’s exactly what I do with my tail bag. Park up in the garage, unclip the 4 clips, walk into the office with lunch, wallet, phone, drinks etc in bag. Mines an Aldi special though.....
Mine is Kappa tank bag bit modified so I can attach it on rear seat. Enough to fit first aid kit, wallet and removable waterproof part of my jacket inside.
Yeah man. I opted for the absolute smallest bag they had because of this. Leon and Jamie got the next size up but they're also hauling around bigger camera equipment
Nice. Very convenient size and user friendly. I reckon it expands to just about the perfect size to fit a helmet in it which may have been part of Nelson Rigg's intent. Should do a "how much grocery shopping can I fit?" video 😂
This bag expanded won't fit a helmet however their medium or large size bags May/will. Unfortunately I don't have another sized bag to play with to test.
The zip top bags are definitely more convenient to use but I chose a Kriega US10 to take my lunch and pants to work for it's minimalism and water resistance.
I like the tail bag but I wouldn't replace my tank bag with a tail bag any time soon. too much convenience in being able to open the bag while on the bike. Tank bags make snacks easier to get to while riding.

I've owned both. For high speed riding, the 10's stability and suspension are miles ahead. For around town the 09's more nimble and more fuel efficient. I upgraded to the 10 purely because the 09's shitty rear shock was making me fall out of love with the bike.
That does look nice on MT ;] I would look into buying it but I won't because my Diversion F came with 3 hard cases from the previous owner :D and I use my bike as a tourer (weather in Europe is not that nice ie. today it is sunny AF but its only 6 C)

Can you do a side by side review of the MT-09 and the MT-10. I'm heavily split between them as my next bike, But leaning towards the 10.
