I have a set that I bought on Amazon work great and bmw put a rudimentary version in the tool kit that comes with the car but it just slides into the bolt hole and don’t stay worth a crap lol but Amazon and eBay both carry them
Yes v r mentioned it in his comment, I didn't know the tool kit came with a stud! But even if I knew it, I would never use the tool kit to work on the car, I want to keep it looking perfect. I'd rather get a proper tool I can damage without worrying :)
@@ClassicBMWFanInQuebec Well, if the hubs are too clean, then the wheel doesn't hold itself on it, but if you let dust/rust to build up then it will hold the will, haha...

you should have the studs in the tools from facktory! mine have so i think youre have it too!

never had this problem the wheel just stays on it when i put it on, then i just screw it on
That's interesting, I never managed to get the wheel holding in place. Maybe I didn't push it far enough, or square enough?
