You should be able to choose who you love and it doesn't matter about the color)(race), male or female. You as an adult have the right to choose what makes you happy not other people. That is the problem today people put to much of their opinion into others relationships instead of worrying about their own business of their relationship. Let everyone be and if it works fine, if not that is their affair.
Love is love and it has no color or boundary. Second I am a black woman who likes it all I've dated several guys outside my race and men are men. At the end of the day we all want to be loved and we deserve that right.
This is one of my favourite films and i really love this clip - i think it sends a strong message across. I had the same experience many years ago & today things are the same, if not worse. We are all people regardless - born the same way & die the same way. It's up to us as individuals to get over the ignorance. We shouldn't be judged by who we love and want to be with. Love really can conquer all but society's still stuck in the past. Colour is nothing - your spirit defines who you are.
im now in a mixed raace relationship myself. except hes philipino and im white..and we're just seein each other but its interesting cos i noticed the weird looks we got from people when we went to the shops the other day. its sooo weird, coswhen ur in a relationship and ur soo comfortable with the person colour does NOT matter what so ever. so when others feel uncomfortable it makes me think like...whyyyy....its normal

It annoys me how no one's ever heard of this but everyone loves Step Up since it's essentially the same story. Only that Save the Last Dance is much better with a lot better music and casting. Julia Stiles is perfectly cast as a ballerina whilst Sean Patrick Thomas is perfect as an amateur hip-hopper. Their characters are realistic and their interactions with one another are realistic. The same cannot be said for Step Up which is essentially what High School Musical is for musicals. Makes me sad
i have to say, i never thought of this song's relevance to such a subject, but now i kinda do. this movie definitely touched my heart as i was once in an interracial relationship. it's disappointing how even in this day and age we still have to overcome such gross discrimination.
