Good shout to GON. Very underrated what he did for Wolves riddled with departures, injuries and lack of players. Had to call up many kids to keep afloat. Lopetegui left before the season started to GON did not get a pre season. Many had Wolves being relegated but in reality right towards the end there was a sliver of hope for Europe.
Im a Liverpool fan. This season Liverpool werent even predicted to be top 4 after our disaster last season and our entire midfield rebuild. What klopp did with an entire midfield is incredible. We were was not 10 points clear, it was 5 after 22 games But you are right as the season changed the expectations did. I agree with that
I don't rate Arteta, when he took over from Emery he took over a fifth place finish and an FA cup winning Emery team that Emery pretty much got working in his first season at the club (I know that Arteta won the FA cup but it was Emery who left him the squad). Got rid of the Emery players and finished 8th the next season, then 8th again the season after, no silverware to show for it. Then he bottled top four the season after finishing 5th like Emery did on his fist season and now he's still with no silverware bottling a title two years in a row, not competing in the local cups and failing in Europe. Honestly if I had to rate Arteta I would put him outside the top 10 on the prem, I even rate the bald fraud that is Ten Hag over him, at least Ten Hag has some silverware despite how fraudulent he is. And Poch got further with an absolutely disfunctional squad in his first season at Chels and only bottled a cup because he carried the spurs inside him over to Chelsea and just could not get that silverwear.
