+Andy Macks It's not even like that down in Mississippi. That stereotype is perpetuated by ignorant people who have probably never even stepped foot across the state line. MS is full of small towns where everyone knows everyone and most get along just fine. To be honest, blacks and whites probably get along better in MS than in many other states in America, in large part due to the small town mentality I mentioned previously. That's not to say things weren't different back in the day.
