Did you know that the metal coil helps retract the string you can also use anything to hold the string on. For example, I used a metal sewing machine bobbin, and it works absolutely amazingly, or you could use a plastic empty, sewing spool that holds all the thread. Anything that kind of looks like one will help and you can use a little metal dowel or a wooden one to help hold the spool on.

So I'm thinking about using this method, but I have a slow retractable string for mine, and I have the multi sound chip, but the cutting and sanding part, I like your idea, but I'm gonna use a nail drimmle that works really well. But like u said, I don't know how to solder, so ill need help with that but I love your idea! Thanks brotha for your inspiration! Appreciate it alot!

@@TheGeoffreyZone I personally wouldn't use a glue gun. It may be possible, but I do not recommend it. Solder holds much better.

Would it be possible to simply solder the recordable sound chip to the original pull string relay and Thinkway speaker, rather than gutting the entire electronic innards?
I'm sure there's a way, but it's probably pretty hard. I imagine this is easier.

It has to be the Toy Story 4 voice box. Its built differently.

How long does the battery last in your opinion
I think it said it lasts 700 - 800 pulls of the string
By the timer it runs outside of probably forget that it ran out of charge
