Once I have progressed to intermediate, and no longer use beginners skis but my own intermediate skis that's on my to try list.

Most of the steeper parts are wide so makes it that much easier.

what time of the day is this video shot? Is the track well groomed in the mornings?

I think it was early afternoon and I would say yes, it's nicely groomed in the morning.
