@@SDStudiosAnimations true, and i think their would be some situations were say the hose or your car radiator fell off cuz the clamp wasn't tightened enough the hose clamp compleatly fell off, but you do have some wire like this somewhere. It should get you back to a shop or home safely. secondly in hindsight to my reply suggesting zip ties, jokes aside wire twisted around the hose like this can probably make a tighter and better connection than zip ties.

Про хомуты уже всё сказали.
В защиту выскажусь, что бывают ситуации, когда проволоку найти проще, чем сходить в магазин за хомутом. Или у Вас у каждого в кармане найдется по паре хомутов на разные диаметры?
К тому же проволочный хомут на видео затягивается правильно - две петли с разных сторон. Об этом не многие знают и закручивают только с одной стороны.
