Brian, I don't know why you are surprised I invited you to the College Huddle. YOu're the best Clemson RUclipsr and it isn't even closer brother. We're glad to have you on board brother.
Do you really believe that? You sound like a conspiracy theorist. All of a sudden, you’re going to start saying crazy stuff like the government is not our friend
I don't know that I want to leave the ACC at any cost. There are only 2 better landing spots and I don't know that we have a valid offer. The positive about the ACC is that it is a better pathway to the playoff. The negative...... have you seen our schedule and the cost to attend a game in Clemson.
Let the greedy people go man the University Presidents and TV Executives who are ruining sports they want to make a big time super conference because they aren't making enough money or their revenues.... That's a simple statement but it's going to be a challenge for Clemson football this year find someone who can replace Shipley...
Sounds like Clemson needs to get some people with photographic memories that can look at the contract and then immediately recreate it after they leave.
It seems most reasonable that the fee for leaving should not exceed that teams value to the other members over the time of the contract. If you wanted to break a lease and we're willing to pay out the remainder of the value the landlord ought to be happy.
What a surprise; Pickens County ruled in favour of its tax base imagine that! This particular decision however won’t worry the ACC management because they are no more surprised than you and me along with anybody who watched this podcast. What the ACC is worried about is the possibility of Clemson and FSU bailing out on or before June 30th, which would trigger the “composition clause.” If the composition clause is triggered then ESPN has the right to prematurely end their relationship with the ACC, which would probably happen roughly five minutes later. This is the reason for the lawfair against Clemson and FSU which in all actuality is little more than a delaying action. Within the various “breach of contract” violations by the ACC such as failure to distribute TV revenue evenly amongst schools while withholding additional funds, not to mention conference provisions and rules which were enacted without ever having been voted on; the attorneys retained by Clemson and FSU are probably wondering where to start. Also I agree with the “college football huddle” commentator. Your podcast is indeed the best Clemson football forum in terms of information, analysis, and entertainment value due in no small part to your enveloping good nature and inclusive personality.
so no copy's no pictures humm how about a recording? just read it out loud into a recorder problem solved no reprints no photos no copies no problem lol you can't tell me Clemson does not have one stenography major who could transpose it. and they said nothing about recording someone else reading from the documents. always a loophole somewhere time to burn the ACC to the ground
The ACC Leadership has forgotten who serves who. The ACC Case in North Carolina against Florida State has been placed on a permanent hold, and will not consider picking up the Case until sometime in 2025. That happened after an Attorney with Florida State University legal team said, “The State of Florida will take this case all the way to the United States Supreme Court”. Words like that don’t fall from an attorney’s lips accidentally. The FSU/ACC Case is in mediation , that now has 106 days remaining. I expect a settlement relatively soon. The opportunity is now; because, Judge Cooper will rule in FSU’s favor. All FSU needed to do was add “Sovereign Rights” to their Complaint. Let’s talk about June 30th announcement for depart. Should Clemson & Florida State both make their Announcement to leave on or before June 30th: That would blow the ACC to Hell. ESPN could drop the ACC that same day! The prison door open giving every school an opportunity to go to another conference. Whoever wants to stay would be able to reorganize & hammer out a new tv deal. All ACC teams could then play the current schedule as an independent.July 1st - Aug 1st status quo with 1 more year in the ACC for FSU without a doubt. What’s going on with Clemson’s exit?

This is true. Also, the tickets are outrageous. It’s sad
The SEC and BIG are country clubs and we`re stuck in a crappy timeshare.

@@ClemsonFootballLive Wouldn't be a bad pick. Should get a whole team and each person gets to remember 1 page so it's easier to remember. 😂
