Haha, yep, there were a lot of obstacles to avoid in this video including flying stinky seaweed🤣😂. Claire thought it particularly funny!! Thanks for your kind words Kieran, they're very much appreciated...cheers! Take care and all the best, Tony and Claire. 👍🇮🇪💙❤️🚐
Lovely seaside town. The beach was lovely, love to listen to the sea 🌊. You seem to get the good weather following you guys hopefully you got some good pictures good music as always. This time next week I should have my first new hip👌. Fraser heads back to Glasgow tomorrow for his last term will be glad when he gets back home for the summer. Hi, hope you're well. Yes, Felixstowe was a great choice and we wish we'd visited sooner, a lovely place with so much to see and do. Yeeees, the anticipation and wait is almost over...finally. We're sure that everything will go well for you and you'll be out and about in no time...and feeling better for it. We sincerely hope and wish you a speedy recovery. Best wishes and let us know how you get on! Sending big hugs and strength. Xx 👍💙❤️🚐

Hi ya Bro, hope you're well mate👍👌 Ahh, I remember in one of your vids you mentioned that you will be heading back towards Norwich, it will be a little different to the adventure you've had in Galloway👍. Yep, rv bed is the best bed by far our friend, best night sleep ever in Freddie😎. You stay safe mate and hopefully our roads will cross again soon! Much love and big hugs! 👍💙❤️🚐
I'm with Claire. If you got a lovely cosy bed on a rainy day. Fabulous video Both. Definitely interesting around there, especially if you have a fish and chip shop around for me 😋 Just goes to show how we miss bits on our doorstep. Fabulous video Both. Love and Hugs ❤
Haha, I hope not, Claire's with me and I don't care if its a rainy day🤔😂🤣. Yes, a real interesting place and something a little different to the usual landscapes👍....especially with a portion of fish n chips👌💙. Yep, on our doorstep all this time, lovely place. Many thanks for watching as always, take care and all the best. Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐
Hi Geoff, sorry for the late reply. Indeed, a truly fascinating place to sit and watch the cargo being loaded, something a little different. Yep, Suffolk is a great place to visit and explore, loads of quaint seaside villages/towns and beautiful countryside. Many thanks for watching as always and all the best. 👍💙❤️🚐
Loved watching the container ship. They always make me think of Michael Palin’s around the world in 80 days! We’ll need another lifetime to get all of these places struck off the bucket list. X
Hi there, many thanks for watching. Haha, indeed, there are certainly a lot of places to explore and unfortunately, time and money always seem to get in the way lol. Small steps, big adventures and keep ticking that bucket list of yours! Xx
You’re living proof it can be done! We’re self employed cleaner & courier & time off is difficult. Always make the most of Sundays. Planning another one night sleeping bag getaway for May, hopefully Chirk/Llangollen/Shrewsbury area - with camera! Keep on ticking! X
Funny you should say it makes you think of Michael Palin's '80 days', at the end of his round the world odyssey he returned to the UK on a Maersk Container vessel into Felixstowe.
A little task for you both, as you are in the Felixstowe area….about 50miles away is sunny Clacton, you could always do a Rickie of my old home town…thanks for tHe vlog chaps…fab as always…x
Ahh, Joan, you kept that a secret lol. We know Clacton very well and when I (Tony) left home, my first house was in Colchester, so Clacton became my local seaside. Great place, we've both visited many times since childhood. Many thanks for watching as always, we truly hope this finds you well. Best wishes and take care, Tony and Claire. Xx
Love it when you're on this time on a Sunday, AVF and pork chops,is there a better combination ,I don't think so 😅. I'm afraid to say that even I said aww 🥰 at the fairy tree, well done to ever did that, bringing smile's to people's faces. You guys are touring an area of the UK I've never been too, loving it. And Claire I'm so jealous,I just can't get comfortable in any bed any more, for various boring reasons, however my dear wife could stay in bed till the cow's come home, and we don't own any 🐄🐮. Have a good week guys, and haste ye back.🏴🕊️
Wow, pork chops and AVF, how privileged we are to be on over tea time, thank you!! Yep, the simple things are sometimes the best; a few carved doors and the odd rope bridge....and the kids love it, and us big kids too👍😂. Shame about the bed buddy, Claire says try a memory foam topper; I wouldn't pay her too much attention though as she could sleep for 24hrs on a rock😂🤣. It seems we have a lot in common Douglas, we married Koala Bears👍😁🐨. And you both, have a great week and all the very best as always. 👍💙❤️🚐
we live in Chelmsford but visit Felixstowe at least once a month and love it. Funny enough only last week we walked by where you parked up for the night and we both said that would be a good over night place to park. So you beat us to it lol. Keep the great vidios coming guys x
Ahh, good old Chelmsford, we know it very well, and I (Tony) especially. I used to live in Maldon so Chelmsford was my closest shopping town. Yep, Felixstowe was a great surprise and we can see why you visit so often, great place. Yes, not a bad park up at all, you'll have to give it a try. Many thanks Mick, we absolutely appreciate your kind words of support. All the very best, and take care in sunny Essex. Best wishes, Tony and Claire.
Hey up Robin, hope you're well buddy. Wow, Felixstowe would have been a whole lot different 40 years ago, that's for sure. Great part of the UK and we're so glad we eventually visited. Many thanks for watching and all the very best, Tony and Claire.
Fantastic video, I’ve never been to that area so found it enlightening. Felixstowe was a surprisingly interesting seaside town. ( with seaweed thrown in ) 🤬The concrete breakers were unusual but I expect very efficient, you made good use of the with filming and photography. I used to visit Southampton container port and watch the ships being unloaded,as you say it’s fascinating and a little mesmerising. Thanks for another good video ,take care 🚐👍
Hi there Eric, hope you're well. Yes, what an incredible place and not what we expected at all. There was so much to see a Felixstowe that we stayed for a few more days...fantastic place. You'll see a little more in the next vid. Haha, yep, soggy, salty seaweed thrown at me... I must have done something wrong lol. Indeed, the breakers and the port were really interesting and the rate the containers were being loaded was astonishing. By the sound of it you have also witnessed something similar at Southampton. Many thanks as always and all the very best.
To think I’ve visited that area many times and discounted Felixstowe as just a port. What a pleasant surprise, thanks for that, and all on your doorstep. As it’s your part of the world was it Southwold or Aldeburgh that Dickens set part of Great Expectations in. I remember the shingle beaches and beach huts? Those sea defences were very unusual. Really enjoying your local area. Good choice. Al😊🎉
Hi there Al, many thanks for watching. Yes, exactly the same thing here, that's just what we thought....a Port, a very busy port of which we had no intention of visiting. However, what a great surprise and the loading of the containers was really interesting and something a little different. As for the town and beach area, fantastic and a great place to go for a walk👍. Hmmm, you've got us both there, it's been a while and we're not too familiar with the Great Expectations locations. Having both read the book and watched the film, you've left us in a state of wonder. Tried 'googling' but couldn't find the answer🤔. Many thanks again for your kind support and if you find the answer, please let us know😁. Best wishes and take care, Tony and Claire. 👍💙❤️🚐
Cracking wee video , always a surprise when you find something nice close to where you stay not knowing how nice it is . I remember Brent Eleigh and Cavendish being particularly nice and picturesque on my endeavours driving coaches down that way 😁🚌 Nice place but only people with money can afford to stay in Suffolk ........ ! 😉😂 Well done folks and as always slàinte 🥃🍻🏴🏴🏴
Hi Steven, hope you're well. Wow, you certainly got about with the coaches. We know Cavendish very well, we've photographed a couple of weddings there, a very nice village if you can afford it lol. We lived in the cheaper part of Suffolk, that's for sure😂. Hope you had a great time away buddy and managed to hook some good ones👍. Slainte, cheers and all the best buddy! 👍💙❤️🥃🚐

Indeed we did Trev, we popped into the pub at the end for a shandy and had a little walk along the side of the harbour. Lovely place indeed. 👍💙❤️🚐. Thanks again and all the best.
Hi Guys. That little wood outside Felixstowe was a great little find! Never knew that was their! Pity they don't allow overnight parking, plenty of room. Even for a small fee would be worth it. Council missing an opportunity again🙄🤷. I think those tank traps are possibly to protect that area of sand/beach just to the right of them maybe? Anyway, thanks for pointing out some interesting stuff, also on our doorstep 🙂👍
Hi there Colin, hope you're well buddy. Indeed, what a fantastic country park, lovely place to stretch the old legs👍. Yep, parking restrictions again...typical for England and yes, definitely a missed opportunity for the local council.
