hi, thanks for the video. but an error has just occured in my laptop. i have succesfully made it a personal mobile hotspot for my iphone but when my iphone connects, only instagram can be used. other applications including safari cant seem to get the internet connectivity. do you have any suggestions for this please? thank you in advance.

@Windows Report, i tried all solutions with no luck...but with your 3rd solution, my hotspot service was already set to "start" so i stopped manually thinking that i will "start" again but now i see "Start" option is greyed out. Any solution to fix this please. Thank

you are the best, more than 6h that I try to fix my hotspot with new WiFi adapter asus ac-56 usb3 on windows 11 and it not work! and it was funny because it was work with super cheap no brand usb wifi adapter . then i decided to check youtube for last time,and lucky me I find your video, after do the services.msc , it finally work , if it not gon to work, i tried to send it back to the shop! haha. tnx alot! pls learn me how can accept internet from wifi and then send it with lan port to my router . ( i want share my express vpn from my pc to my router, but not from hotspot , from lan port)

It'd be great if you respond! When I open the Windows Mobile Hotspot Service Properties, down from the 4 options, I'm not able to click on any of them. The "Start" button is just blank.
What do I do?

It might be that your service is disabled altogether. Try to reinstall your Network Drivers.

I solved this hotspot in win 11 ; I changed (PIA VPN user) in VPN settings i set wire guard (my laptop is connected with Ethernet cable to router)and USE EXISTING DNS!(NOT USE VPN DNS);in the control panel, adapter settings I am set in the VPN adapter setting -share this connection;after that i am start HOTSPOT WIN11 and my phone and my tablet connect and work;

Is it a laptop you are owning or a PC? You will get bluetooth and wifi most likely on a laptop not on a PC which requires certain hardware components to run that!

Make sure that you do not have a hardware issue! Other than that try updating your network drivers.
