I'll always wonder why Eddy straight up does not look right in 3D compared to every other character from the show. The cartoony outlines make it look like he has a pencil thin mustache for example lmao
He’s already so f’d up his character only makes sense in 2d haha. Theres a scary 3d render of him on Twitter I’d recommend looking up

This game looks insane when it's upscaled via emulator. still holds up really well. Apart from that god damn slingshot..
I played this through when i was a kid. I remember suffering trying the beat the levels haha. I much more enjoyed the gameboy advance version. It was super replayable collecting all the different jaw breakers. Good times

If you're into bad games like this I'd recommend Powerpuff Girls Chemical Xtraction and Relish Rampage.
Chemical Xtraction is a crappy 3D fighting game that was released in 2001 for the PS1/N64 (When the PS2 and gamecube were already out) that has bad controls and poor hit detection.
Relish Rampage is a little better, but not by much. It has a hyperactive camera and gets pretty repetitive.
Powerpuff Girls games is all I needed to hear haha, janky cartoon games are always a must play. Definitely adding those to the list 🤘🤘

I went to a private Christian school and we actually had an odd game day (as long as it was rated E)
I brought this game and everyone who tried it hated it. I loved the OG show so much and LARPed a lot by always wearing a hat like I was Double D, so I couldn't admit it was actually anti-fun in every single way.
A teacher asked what the purpose of the game was, and well, scamming people out of money was very unchristian so I said it was about pulling pranks. In the end, the biggest prank was me trying to tell myself the game was good. I'd replay it time to time, as if to justify its existence in my PS2 library, but I still remember how dry my mouth would get from boredom. Its "long ride in a hot truck with a country music cassette tape playing" tier of boredom that only the dead truly know peace from.
Haha this is an eye opening truth. I can honestly say I wasn’t having the greatest time playing it, but it has its moments
@@EvanHelblingYT I don't think you covered it and I don't know if this is some early onset dementia ruining my memories, but I distinctively remember a level very similar to the Reptar city rampage in the good Rugrats game. Where Ed had some nonsensical costume on and he was destroying a cardboard city. I actually remembering recording that level on a VHS, which was a very odd hobby of mine as a kid.
Btw, you ever intend on playing Rugrats Studio Tour on PS1? Its absurd as hell and far from as good as the other games, but I remember distinctively its platformer space missions, an absolutely demented minecart puzzle and it also had mario kart races that actually are about as good as the ones in Mortal Kombat. I personally strongly disliked the game as a kid, but the ghosts in the Reptar one spooked me to the core (and Mr Friend) so I always ended up renting Studio Tour. :/
