The ship suddenly made, at least 40 degree, to Port and stayed there long enough for chaos to happen particularily in the dining saloon. The Captain told us later that a very large wave hit us and rolled us heavily except that it appeared to be only to port and the vessel stayed like that for what felt like a long time but was probably in reality quite short. It felt like the vessel was quite tender in ship stability terms. There were accidents which required the vessel to make next Port and passengers were taken to hospital. It was a frightening and very unexpected experience!
@@ulcjmt thanks. Due to take the Coastal Express next month. Hoped the gurney was not a harbinger of bad experiences. This was not as severe as the Viking Antarctic accident involving a rogue wave, at least. Don't mess with Ma Nature!
