May God have mercy on us, and may we all pray to be converted and worthy of heaven with the help of Our Most Blessed Mother, and through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
If I may ask, have you ever considered the priesthood? What you say here brings me back to a sermon I heard in Međugorje in May 1998 by an American priest. Also knowing what I recollect now of the history of the place and the feeling I felt on top of Apparition Hill. There must be something in what you convey here.
@@EireAbu I think I know what you mean. We are all sinners, but it should be an almost unbearable weight to carry being a priest. I often return to reading Saint Patrick’s writings, that weight I’m thinking of can be felt in his words. You can’t fake it. When you know you know. That’s what I believe.
Is not the Eastern Orthodox Church the True Catholic faith? I, as an Irish man, reject the Roman Church as being the true apostolic inheritors of Jesus and the apostles. Reason being, they are worldly driven, profit and numbers mean more than Truth, Honesty and sacrifice. Not to mention, Jesus gave all the Apostles the same blessings. Forgive my limitatiied knowledge. 🇮🇪☦️🇮🇪
@EireAbu Surely we can see the Roman Church sought to become rulers on earth without saving souls for our final destination? Thankyou for stating the obvious problem of our Irish need to be liked, sure we're lovely altogether, as we're being planted.... God bless, we win in the end, allegedly ☦️
@@tomasomaonaigh7659the myth believed by many is to conjure in their minds that the orthodox Church has no evil within either. We know that certain orthodox parishes have embraced the sins of the world too. Even at the table of the last supper sat a traitor, a doubter, a denier, initial cowards who abandoned Christ under the cross. Those Irish who suffered persecution for their faith have their faith now calumniated by their descendants. It's a very weeded landscape we now plough. God bless my friend.

No, I have high standards for the priesthood, I wouldn't be anywhere near good enough.

I hear you my friend, but I'd suggest you listen again. We shouldn't blame the faith for bad men in the faith.
