Microsoft is now beta testing three functions to use regular expressions to identify, extract and replace text based on regular expressions. These can make easier and fine-tuned work of searching and replacing than current functions can. Since these are new in beta, you may have to wait a while until they are available on your computer, and once available, they could be a little different from what you see here. But you can get a head start learning about them.
