I NEED to understand how melodyne can do this. No one seem to give any explanation, everyone is just praising it (as one should) but no clue how it can achieve it!? It bugs me to death XD HOW CAN IT ISOLATE A SINGLE NOTE FROM AN AUDIO AND EDIT IT?!?
Nicolas because the blobs on the screen are 'interpretations' of overtones - not discrete notes. You can sometimes just delete them - but you often will remove things that make the overall sound go weird. I have tried and the reduction method has proven to be a better choice. Remember, you are touching on the context of everything within the track. Am I making sense, sorta?? All my best Stephan
Great video really helping me decide which edition to get
Honestly remarkable. Thanks for the example Stephan!
Amazing... but it was fine as it added tension. Reminded me of Scott Walker orchestrations.

Celemony has a lot of tutorial vids on their site, as well as some about melodyne’s initial development, and developer.
Instead of reducing their level why not delete the B flat notes?
