My new studio set up is gonna be incredible! The next couple (non-sample breakdown) videos I expect the quality to quintuple ;) Thanks for the support as always
bro im a producer from south africa your videos have taken my production skills to a whole new level especially this one ive heard about melodyne from a friend but i didnt know it was this powerful and also your video breakdowns are the best ill be referring your page to my producer friend....We really appreciate you brother and God bless, im highly inspired.
I have a video talking about all the dumb stuff I used to do... I used to transfer to FL by hand, but there is an export as midi option in files, so then you can export the whole Melodyne thing to your piano roll
Thanks for the helpful tutorial man! I have a question and would appreciate any help, when I put a sample into melodyne to detect the chords and export a midi file, which I then import the midi file into FL Studio, sometimes the chords are correct but in the wrong place as if melodyne was understanding the tempo wrong initially. Am I missing a step?
I have that issue when I record into Melodyne with the song, I am trying to analyze, off grid. It is a broad question so if you're more specific I can try to do a better job trying help. But yeah make sure it is aligned properly with your grid
First video I've ever seen done on melodyne..I love this channel breh. Can you help me with melodyne..I mostly use it to find the bassline of my samples, but the midi aren't aligned with the piano roll in FL.. bass below G5 on my piano roll sounds too low, and that's sometimes where melodyne has the notes...how would u fix that?
I Would EQ before putting it through melodyne, trying to isolate the sound I want analyzed. But Melodyne voicing can be weird and wrong. So just play by ear. If it gives you a G that is too low, but you are sure that it is the right bass note, just put it an octave up on your piano roll. As simple as that. Melodyne many times is more about giving you direction than a perfect result
@Narokx thank you for responding, normally alot of creators will ignore comments, you're very active. I respect that. Please don't stop lls. Imma definitely try that, because on some notes they'll have the bass sitting at a g3, which is incredibly low to the point where quality would be severely diminished.
@@GaryCOLLOMAN. appreciate that, I'm trying to build something here. And yeah with these analyzers it is better to take them as suggestions and inspiration rather than a fact
how do u automatically take the sample notes out of melodyne and add them to your piano roll... i see u did it manually but i believe i heard u can do it auto
There is, but for a long ass time I did it one by one.... You can just save what you on melodyne as midi and then import that midi into your piano roll. I was so mad at myself, I probably did 10+ breakdowns manually fot no reason 😭
It is a box that I have around the mic that protects the mic from the reverberated waves that bouce back from the walls I am upgrading my set up so this will probably be the last time yall see it :( Now I will only use it when recording artists because it is still a useful toll

Appreciate you !
Great video but I must say that giant pop filter looking thing is just hilarious
I gotta bring it back
How do I transfer chords from melodyne to my pattern?
Setting>Save as Midi > then in your daw you can import the midi
That mic is the producers version of a monster truck.
gotta bring it back
mais um video foda, mano! keep up the good work
:)
can we change our voice humming the song into the melodyne?
I would use AutoTune manual tuning function. It is incredible for pitching vocals.
Thank you for this video. I'm a believer now. Which version of Melodyne do I need to be able to drag samples in and get the chords.
It is the basic function of the program, so I believe any version will do it
Can you copy the chords in melodyne directly to the fl studio pianoroll or do you have to plug the midi in by hand?
I have a video talking about all the dumb stuff I used to do... I used to transfer to FL by hand, but there is an export as midi option in files, so then you can export the whole Melodyne thing to your piano roll
what version of melodyne you use
do i need to get the most expensive version of melodyne to do this?
Audio-to-MIDI requires at least Melodyne Assistant and Chord editing requires at least Melodyne Editor.

type the bpm into the melodyne by double clicking where the time signature and bpm are, then drag and drop your audio
