I've had symptoms after the first month when I got tested and turned out to be negative.. I want to get tested again but the counselor refused and told me that it was too much stress watching and reading about HIV.

My uncle was diagnosed with full blown AIDS in 1994 from drug use in the 80s... he's still alive but suffers from complications from all kinds of AIDS related diseases.. from cancer to heart disease to TB, hes had it all... meanwhile his sister, my mom, got cancer and died within 3 years... With just 1 pill a day, ppl are undetectable and do not ever develop symptoms. It no longer kills people if they take meds. Like him I was a teenager and it was my first bf. That was 20 years ago. I'm still undetectable with a great cd4 count.

He could've just committed suicide like many others did when he was told his diagnosis, especially at that tender age. Some of the comments here are just posted by the usual calloused and cruel brigade who post on every YT video about AIDS or gays. Life is not about quantity of years but content; we all live 70-90 years if lucky and leave the stage. His young life had content and he contributed what he could. Look around you: not everyone has a sense of purpose, and some people live and die without finding one. They just eat, sleep, exist aimlessly... and live to take pot-shots at people who had a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives despite incredibly difficult circumstances.
