We used to go 4wd down to Litchfield park back in 86. In those days there were no roads and no camping grounds/tourists etc. We used to camp right on the waterfall and had the place to ourselves. Lost city was a great place to visit also. Been back a couple of times since then and boy hasn't it become popular. However, you can't stop progress I'm afraid.

sounds like it would have been great then! It was still nice but a bit busy for us as well, you can see why though it is a beautiful part of the world
