REBEL MOON - PART TWO: THE SCARGIVER continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.
From Zack Snyder, the filmmaker behind 300, Man of Steel, and Army of the Dead, REBEL MOON is a 2-part movie event decades in the making.
Original Video: • Rebel Moon Part Two - ...
Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver, by Zack Snyder, is the most Zack Snyder movie that ever Snydered, and that's not a good thing. - Развлечения
Critical Drinker and The Boys: "Do you seriously believe your own hype that much?"
Zack Snyder: *"I AM THE HYPE!!!"*
Cha la head cha la
I'm no scientist but wouldn't the amount of coal you'd need to power a spaceship require more coal than the size of the spaceship itself?
Please DC, never let Snyder anywhere near DC properties again
I notice no one that liked Rebel Moon part 1&2 aren't saying why they liked the movies.
I want to see Tyrone react to Angry Joe's review of Rebel Moon 2, Spoilers Video as well🤞🤞
That review had me in tears 😂.
I posted this on Drinker's channel:
The problem with Zach Snyder, the reason why he engenders such a negative response, I think is because of some of his more overzealous fans. To them, Snyder is the best director since Hitchcock and any dissenting opinions means that you are too stupid to recognize his brilliance. That's how it comes across. That's why the word cultist is used.
Why a director of such mediocre ability has been elevated to this status, I'll never know. But hey, to each his own right? One man's Showgirls is another man's Citizen Kane.
To add some more:
You're one of the more levelheaded fans of Snyder and I respect that. To be fair, I don't hate his work. I'm just not overly in love with it, either. I think, in another universe, Zach Snyder would have been a cinematographer. That would've and should've been the peak of his career.
I think it was a mistake to give him creative control over the DCEU. Nothing in his library of work, prior to that, suggested he was ready for that. I think his style could've worked on certain projects. For instance, a Zach Snyder directed Suicide Squad might've been interesting.
Kora and her ragtag bunch of random people are just going for a walk.
A very enthusiastic walk.
I see what you did there 🔫🧛 🔫
So u liked the slo-mo scenes of them cutting the grain? Or blowing the grain? 😂 what about the one where she superhero jumps fist bumping the air? 🤣
He can like whatever he loves like me
That doesn't bother me, the over use of depth of field bothers me way more. The background is always blurry.
The slowmo and holding on a shot slightly out of focus was very Dune in a lot of ways, the biggest Issue with this movie is the writting and story.
Blow
I legit thought Snyder was trolling the audience showing them in slo motion farming 😂😂 I can’t fucking believe there were two montages of that!
Shogun is pretty good.
Maaaaan, I just started watching it last night and I am HOOKED
better than pretty good compared to every other current show
I know. Even Critical Drinker recommended watching the series
The problem with slow-mo is that it adds gravitas to whatever scene it's used in. It makes it more dramatic and epic. This can be great in both dramatic moments and in comedic ones. But it becomes a problem when the scene doesn't deserve it, or when it's overused, because then it just seems like the movie is trying too hard, like it's trying to take itself way too seriously. Which just makes it feel pretentious and annoying when it's overused, like some skinny, obnoxious, pimple-faced, try-hard teenage edgelord dressing in a black leather trench coat with a $50 mall katana strapped to his back and wearing sunglasses at night because he wants to seem "mysterious" and "dangerous".
It must be really hard defending Zack at this point in time, he keeps on disappointing you
It’s disappointing because he set himself up great w the Snyder cut and be missing since. I’m rooting for the guy but I’m seeing what everybody else been seeing
Same. I’m still a fan of his dc stuff. Everything else, BIG NOPE
I don't know if anyone noticed but the lead character is in love with the guy who dies, but she kisses another woman at the end of the film, strange right?
Sounds like the typical female nowadays
Bro Tyrone does a great job at acting like a bad actor 😂 "Hey you, put down the gun" (looks around) 😂😂😂
Zack Snyder's Star Wars x Warhammer 40k fanfiction film in a nutshell.
There was a lot of THOR in there too... Dude is shirtless with long hair, muscular swinging a hatchet around killing dozens of sci-fi soldiers with futuristic assault rifles, and arrmor like it's nothing, like they can't hit this jacked shirtless dude with hatchets, he has no powers, and just taking guys out? Made no sense lol. Then you have robot dude running around with cape, and antlers, being the voice of Anthony Hopkins (ODIN).. lots of norse stuff in there.
One of these days people will actually see Zack Snyder as overrated. Sure, he had his moments, 300, The Watchmen. But he's not batting 400, even 300, or even 200 in my mind. For some reason people just put him on a pedestal and I don't agree.
Make sure you watch the original Magnificent Seven 1st
He should really watch Seven Samurai, the movie that was the direct inspiration for it, first.
You mean "Seven Samurai?" 😎
Definitely not even relevant even though inspired, I’ve watched it and it’s not a required viewing for this 😂
I have no issue with Zack, but I'm not a fan of Netflix movies and shows. However, I enjoyed Leave the World Behind.
Trench coat flappin ! Lol
The best way for me to put it is like this. Could be Snyder or Russo brothers, doesn't matter - It's Star Wars you ordered from Wish and it might be okay if the character was interesting but she's as interesting as watching paint dry (imo). For that reason, I'm out.
Coal is too heavy to be a viable fuel for space travel. It is indeed a completely idiotic idea.
Drinkler barely wanted to give it 5 minutes of his time.
I like Zack but this movie was a hard sit through for me. 2/10.
Oh man, og god oh man😂 I remember your reaction to that scene 😂
The final battle made me mad cause why the resistance came so late ? They couldn’t called them before the fight to help with the farmers😂
Zack Snyder qas the director that taught me you can like a film and it can still be a bad film. I also think Zack has a spotty record.
Hard Target... wasn't that the one where Van Damme kicks a guy off a motorcycle despite obviously missing by a mile - and then they show the scene again in slow motion?
5:56 yeah, like poetry.
You’re absolutely right in everything you said on your opinion on the film
I finally watch it. Still better then Disney Star Wars sequels but it still has a lot of useless fluff that made me take a lot of breaks such as slo-mo farming, main characters telling about their stories and how bad the stormtroopers are when it came to aiming their targets
My issue is with the team leads, some of them just brings no value to the team to the extend of being at the table. The griffin guy, what is his relevance?what does he bring to the party that helped them? The private rebel chick that survived the previous movie after her leader died. They just said yeah you can tag along private,we have no one else so. Then the sword lady, was she not a legendary assassin?? She got taken out by jobbers....JOBBERS!! These were people you went on a journey to search out for specifically lol. The general was the only one of use.....kinda lol.The table was also the only time I think they all spoke to one another because I was sure some of them did not even know one another
Rebel moon should have been one 3 hr movie not split in two.
Needed more character development.
Haven't seen part 2 but even as a Snyder fan, I didn't like the first Rebel Moon at all (I actually fell asleep on it) and that's making me hesitant to sit through the sequel. I may just wait for the director's cut of part 1 to see how I feel about it and if I like it, give part 2 a watch (or wait for the director's cut of part 2 if there's gonna be such a thing).
I saw the first one. I thought it was OK, but not good enough that I've immediately watched the second one. There are plenty of inconsistencies, but they seem par for the course for a lot of sci-fi movies. Sometimes you are going for an aesthetic, not what might be considered a vision of how things would really work. If a civilization actually had FTL travel, would they even send real humans out on any combat mission? Everything would be drones and AI.
Rebel Moon is still a better starwars movie than anything Disney did in the last few years
Well instead of using so much slow motion maybe these scenes should be sped up just to get past that particular part of the film please
It was okay. Idk but angry Joe and crew hated it and drinker definitely didn't like it. I mean they have valid points why the movie was terrible. Scores give part 1 the higher rating but I thought 2 was a lil better imo idk the spider creature killed by sword lady was awesome in first.
Thank God there wasn't a cooking scene. Cause it would've been in slo-mo 😂
Tyrone is genuinely a great guy
I’m just confused how so many of zack’s movies vary in quality. Army of the Dead was surprisingly good and they actually spent time on their characters as well as army of thieves. His justice league obviously had more than enough time to build out its various characters especially cyborg, but rebel moon had 2 whole movies to establish its cast yet completely diregarded everyone but kora except for one single flashback each. We don’t care about them and that’s why these movies failed. Still I enjoy them as mindless action scifi films with some of the best action sequences in recent memory. I just wish he’d either edit his movies better or just let someone else write them.
I'm sort of a Snyder fan. I like Watchmen, I know 300 is a great adaptation of the graphic novel it's based on, i love his Justice League, I like BVS even though it definitely has issues, I like Man of Steel even with it's few issues, and I even mildly like Sucker Punch and alot of people hate that film lol. BUT, with that being said, these Rebel Moon movies are not good. And if we look at our favorite films of his, they have different writers and cinematographers, they are not all Zack. He merely just directed, and that's arguably why those films are better. He needs help writing scripts and needs to reign in some of the cinematography, make things tighter in a good way. I'm all about an artist fulfilling his vision (I'm an artist myself), but Zack is just not doing well with having full control. Also, let's not forget M. Knight Shamalan(I don't think that's spelt right 😅) gets alot of hate too, even now, just for the one or two bad films he's made many years ago. I wish the best for Snyder, but he's just gotta do better than whatever he's doing currently.
The scrip and the horrible dialogue makes it very difficult to gauge the level of acting. Maybe they are doing the best they can under the circumstances.
No more damn slow mo for me
The movie was ok but I feel like it should have been a series
"Technology can miss like that... you can do one thing but not the other"... welcome to the Fallout universe
Please watch angry Joe's review
Edit: I was typing as I was watching the video
Please check out angry Joe's review too
I LOVE slo-mo (my team and I almost always incorporate “bullet-time” in any video game we make) but Galadriel riding the horse in “Rings of Power” will make even the most ardent slo-mo fans think twice ever again…
Zack was on with the Slow Mo Guys. Check it out!
Zack needs a better set of writers.. Specially now that he built the lore, it’ll be easier to play with the sandbox.. Just needs to focus on a good screenplay
It wasn't that bad i personally loved it i like epic action oriented movies and don't pay attention to story or characters so didn't really bother me.
Hahaha yeah I'm a fan of John Woo movies. So I'm definitely good with Zack Snyder using slow motion in his movies as well lol!
It depends who you are! I watched both part 1&2 together and it worked out great for me! I have a blast but for those of you, it’s your choice not to like! I can’t wait for the extended rated R versions of both movies!
It's one of the Greatest Masterpieces of all time.
I like it
Who hurt you? 😉
The movie went hard.
First and second were both awful and I'm a Snyder fan. I can still recognise a bad movie when I see one even if it's made by a director I like
Fallout is the BEEESST GHOULLLLLLLL. Snyder and Bay making POP movies
I do agree with you. I would like Snyder to make another Justice League
You need to react to Zack Snyder's Star Wars
They want to Go off Going James Gunn is the Greatest Director of all Time Did you see his Superman. DC is Back and that other Guy I hate forever. I saw James Gunn S Squid Movie I'm really looking forward to the Trainwreck.
Technically that's what Netflix wanted not Zack. So DC scenarios all over again.
I like Snyder as a director but I'm just not into this genre of movies. I've never even seen star wars
If you ever do. Watch 1 through 6 plus the clone wars 3d animated series and that's it
And people over think and compare wayyyyyy to much omg just watch the movie and just enjoy it.
You GOTTA watch the interview with Piers Morgan, Critcal Drinker, Nerdrotic and a woke activist. GOTTA
Hey I always say just because you didn't like, Don't mean I didn't like it , if you are a Snyder hater you will dislike it period 💯.
A lot of people confuses the acting with the script.
I think Michael Bay does good slow motion scenes
I enjoyed the movie! Don't understand the hate
Humans just hate because ! Just watch the movie and enjoy it.
If you want bad slo-mo, watch Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever!
If you like "slow mo" Tyrone. Please could you watch and post your reaction to Auralnauts - Zack Snyder's STAR WARS: Part 1 - A New Hope.
maybe its a mineral that resembles coal. There was an episode of Futurama where they showed that starships are powered by some alien creatures poop/pellets.
In the Horowitz interview, Snyder said RB is meant to be an over the top satire about space movies but its not obvious in this pg13 version. have to wait and see til the R version
Yes but can the R version really be that different from the PG-13 version of the movie?
People hate just because
I enjoyed the second half of the movie, the 1st half was slow but most of us have tik tok/insta brain, I don’t really listen to the drinker, I watch for myself without his or any critics opinions. The social media critics now are just as biased as the main stream critics. We all know the drinker dislike for Snyders style of filming, so he is already biased, any Snyder movie criticism from him will be negative.
I saw it yesterday... The CGI or aesthetic imagery isn't helping... I meant let's take a sample like the scene when the king betrayed... It's... It's.. Ridiculous awfull... It's like high school theater. No emotion, flat dialogue, no tense, the logic of any character doesn't fit it, etc etc... Sigh... And that's one scene only in which supposedly give more root/attraction for scargiver. I meant if I'm as an audience taken out of the movie in the scene that supposedly gave more root to the main character then I guess it's automatically a big fail (at least for me).. The rest of the movie... Well... Not really matter anymore.
but Nolan dont really have a bad film like tarantino
dont get snyders haters , they seem obssessed with him , hate his film but still watch him
Part 1 was cool to me .. part 2 I couldn’t I turned it off after 40-45 min it was sooooooo damn boring
Wanted these to work cause we need new IP’s but this man ain’t got it
I think Ron Howard is one of the top 3 directors out there.
To be fair, I would rather watch Apollo 13 or Backdraft than this. Or any other director like Nolan, Scorsese, Kubrick, Eastwood (American Sniper and Gran Torino), and the Scott brothers.
To me, It wasn’t bad. Definitely more watchable than what Disney has been putting out.
The movie is ok
It’s so conflicting for me , because I love Zack Snyder …how ever….i gotta be honest about Rebel moon…this is the laziest pile of shit I’ve seen in a long time….part two makes part one look like a master piece …and I thought nothing could be worse than the first one lol
If this was fan fiction, I would be happy for whoever made it. But for this to be professionally made, this was horrible. The acting was bad, there was no plot, there was nothing happening . All my children or some other soap opera would be more interesting, and I hate soap operas.
The acting was horrible, but the main reason why was because of the terrible script and story. So the actors aren't totally at fault.
I'm a big Snyder fan but this movie is just not it (I want to see him direct the dark night return with full action)
I did not like this movie one bit. I felt like i was watching pointless action and just stuff happening on screen and i just didnt care about one of these characters or what happened to them. It felt like cannon fodder for 130min
Rebel Moon 2 was wack to me. Snoozer!! 🤦♂️
Everyone I. A critic lol
In general, I like the Drinker, even if I don't agree with him on everything. As time has gone on though, I just can't imagine him liking anything anymore. While his critiques have merit as he seems highly intellectual on film analysis, etc., he's seem more like the Cynical Drinker rather than the Critical Drinker. I only say this as he critiques so harshly without acknowledging this is not the version Snyder wanted to put out. He does this quite a bit I find, where you could make comparisons to other films, where his opinion on one could come off hypocritical on another. Granted, coal is a bit weird, when they could either of not named the fuel source, or just given it some bullsh*t Sci-Fi name for gasoline/petrol like Star Wars, etc., or any other Sci-Fi film/series. Maybe coal being named is a commentary on our own uses of it. Anyways, I hope the Drinker's own film is good when it come out, noting it's of a different genre.
The Dark Knight Rises was awful. DC wanted to restart and their answer was Zack Snyder. He was worse. Simple as that.
Do want to see more of this world
I honestly, don't like any of Zack Snyder's movies.
im a snyder fan, and i'll admit. rebel moon is a disappointment in terms of storytelling & too much slow-mo. like wtf are these warriors fighting an empire just to defend a certain small village? not for the whole freedom of everyone? zack should hire a better writer. i'm not even interested watching part 2 because part 1 was like, wtf happened, zack?!!!
If you want an example of horrible acting, watch the "Birdemic" films (without commentary or rifftraxing).
It was decent in my opinion
I was thinking the movie reminded me more of Star Wars: Rogue One X Seven Samurai rip-off but clearly Missing the mark of success of either of those movies. Hell, I've seen worse but still was Zack on something like shrooms/alcohol when he made this movie as I expected better from him. The one thing that irritates me the most is all the damn slow-motion scenes because I love watching every action scene .05 speed 😒in The Matrix it made sense not in every action movie Zack touches it doesn't. The droid was the only thing I believe I liked about RM2.
It was ok for a mindless action movie. Nothing wrong with mindless action.
I ENJOYED THE SECOND PART WHICH MADE ME APPRECIATE THE FIRST!!!!!!
WE NEED TO STOP BEING SUCH HARSH CRITICS!!!❤❤❤❤
Or you just need to learn that not everyone has the same opinion about the movie like you 😂
Nah, our standards need to stop dropping. There is a reason why Hollywood is dying. Everyone wants and expects more because we know they can absolutely do better but choose not to.
Looking in the comments sections on Facebook most people seem to have positive things to say about it how are you dealing with Zack Snyder there's going to be a lot of haters
Facebook is a dead space. 75% of those positive comments are bots.
