Thanks for the informative video. I do have a question - could you please do a video on the whole process from start to finish of putting together a bundle of two or three different items maybe of different brands that go into that bundle? I am a newbie! It would be great to see how the products are entered into the ad inventory section and related Fnsku that would be used on the bundle. Thanks!!!
Here is a video I created recently on how to create your own listing: ruclips.net/video/Ld3iQ4TOhg0/видео.html If a multibrand bundle listing doesn't exist on amazon for the products you want to sell you will have to create a listing for them as I explain in the aforementioned video. Thank you for watching. Unfortunately I cannot include every single aspect of selling on Amazon in one video. It would be 10 hours long AND no one would watch it. Please check out all my video's on my channel. How to list on Amazon video's are there. I have made several and they tend to be my most watched. Good luck with your business!
Thank you much Susan. If you use Inventory Lab then they will include it on the FNSKU label when you print it. Then you don't have to do a separate sticker. Otherwise get a thermal printer for about $100 and you can print out the "Best Used By labels" and FNSKU labels super quick.
Right, the shrink is in place of using a polybag. Of course you want to be sure the shrink wrap is strong enough to keep your products together. I ended up buying a large shrink machine so I could run 6 products through it a minute. It is much faster and looks better than poly bags.
this is such quality content, the most useful prep/packing video i have found on youtube! I do have a question though, are there any labels i can buy for the expiration date? or is there an efficient way to label the expiration date? thank you!
I used to print them out separately with a thermal printer. But if you use software “inventory lab” to print your fnsku labels, there is a option to include the expiration date on the same label. This will reduce time and cost of applying labels to your products. This is the latest video I created for understanding how to prep various products for Amazon FBA. You’re welcome. Unless you are creating your own brand you won’t need a barcode. Check out my video here on creating a listing including speaking on UPC’s. How to Create Listings on Amazon FBA For Bundles, Multi-packs Or Products ruclips.net/video/Ld3iQ4TOhg0/видео.html
Wow that looked professionally bundled... I've seen people on RUclips say I can get away with using plastic seal wrap along with the warning stickers...any ides? I'm new to fba so I don't want to invest in all of those things at the moment
You can buy a mixed variety pack of poly bags for under $50. I would start with that. Try to start Amazon with as much professionalism as possible; early mis-steps to save a few dollars could derail your plans.
Great video! So each individual product does not need a expiration date? My first shipment was a case of noodles, I labled each pack with an expiration date?
If the original expiration date is visible then you don’t need to affix your own sticker. However the expiration date is covered and unreadable say with bubble wrap or cloudy poly bags or something, then affix your own on the outside of the packaging.
This video is so educating, thank you and i have a question... How would you package a small pieces of items of the same SKU?..... Because there wouldn't be enough space to paste all those label, stickers and expiration date (if it's not showing on the individual unit)
This is.... a bit late compared to when you posted this video..... But thank you! I do have a question i am having a hard time finding the answer to. Does this same principle apply in this instance? I found a pack of 125 trays already on amazon, and in searching to see if i could find them at a good price i discovered a wholesaler i can get them from. They come in 500 or 1000 though. Can i order and then separate and repack to make the 125 pack? I was planning on listing them under the same asin. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again fir the video!
OK good question. Although the answer may not be completely straight forward. Is the ASIN listed as a particular brand name? If so, are the trays you are ordering the same brand? Perhaps the packaging won't be the same. You would want to be careful with this. I would place a test buy to see what it is they are selling. If it is a branded listing, and you are buying generic trays you can't sell on that ASIN. You would likely get inauthentic and IP claims. However if the brands match up between the listing and your purchase, and looks like a bundled listing you likely can sell on it. Just be careful and research the listing a bit more. Also the other seller on the current listing the actual brand that is on the listing. If so I would NOT sell on that listing or on Amazon the product as the seller will defend themselves. Good luck!
@@EnablingEcom understood thank you. For bundles though, doesn’t Amazon need to be able to identity the specific UPC Code for the bundle? Trying to figure that out, from my understanding multi packs are cool to poly bag and put tape on the bar code but for bundles amazon has to be able to identify the specific UPC code to even process this. Have you heard of it?
Almost all products sold on Amazon are scanned in via the FNSKU label, not the UPC barcode. You often do need a UPC to setup a listing. But not to affix to any of your products. The same goes for bundles and multipacks. You may use a UPC to setup the listing. But when you create your shipping plan to send your products to Amazon the label Amazon will want to scan is the FNSKU as that, when scanned, identifies the product as YOURS and the TYPE OF PRODUCT to Amazon and their inventory tracking and fulfillment. That's why you need to cover UPC's, so Amazon scans don't get confused. Hope that answers your question. Good Luck!
Thanks for the videos! Tremendously helpful! When you create bundles, do you add extra items so that others won't get on to the listing and tank the price?
The more items you add the more difficult it will be for others to jump on the listing. That’s true. However that will increase the price and increase your odds of going out of stock when you might be short of one item. So sales potential could be lower. Things to think about when creating bundles.
@@EnablingEcom Thanks, the headaches from the fumes, thankfully i only did it a few times or id probably have cancer by now, it can be quite grim. Polly bagging for me then!
Alex, yes I do wrap canned foods in bubble; sometimes in cardboard boxes. Check out this updated video on my channel, I wrap cans and jars in bubble: ruclips.net/video/pKqwKKwS97c/видео.html Btw I will likely put out a new video soon about my improved packing skills. Stay tuned! :)
Thanks for the video! I have a question though. I have my own brand with 3 products, each has their UPC code. If I'm bundling product 1+1 and shipping for Amazon FBA, do I print the product's UPC code on that poly bag or will I get an Amazon code to put on the bag? Same if I do a bundle of product 1+2, which code goes on that poly bag? TIA!
Hi Valeria! Thanks for the questions. Here are some answers: "If I'm bundling product 1+1 and shipping for Amazon FBA, do I print the product's UPC code on that poly bag or will I get an Amazon code to put on the bag?" Don't print the product's UPC code, you will get a Amazon FNSKU code to label the bag. " Same if I do a bundle of product 1+2, which code goes on that poly bag?" Neither product's UPC goes on the poly bag. You will print a Amazon FNSKU code to label the bag. Good luck and hope the information helps.
Awesome! Great video. Liked and subscribed. I think the double bagging like that is really important because that shrink wrap keeps those cans from rolling around in that bag. Also I don’t think they’re very kind to our products in the warehouse. I didn’t know those three cans are sold as a set on Amazon I’m totally going to try to find your product and buy those because I buy those three together all the time. I do have a question.. where do you get your barcode. Do you get a Amazon exemption for it or what?
Hey thank you! I don’t sell that set on Amazon, just a sample example 😃. As for barcode, apply for a gtin exemption from Amazon. I show you how in my “create a listing” episode. Good luck and happy holidays.
Where do I get amazon expiration date labels from? If I chose amazon to label products do they put expiration dates on it as well as the sku ? By the way my product has an expiration date but I believe the font is not large enough so that’s why I’m asking This is for fba. Where would I even get the stickers from?
You can print them with a thermal printer, I have links in the description to a few. If you chose Amazon to label I am sure they will prep according to their requirements. Although I have my products prepped in house, so I don't know for sure about Amazon Prep.
Question: I bought a 32 volume Encyclopedia set - I brought it home in 3 separate boxes. How do I package and bundle this so Amazon sells it as a set? Thank you!
Is there a listing for this item for all 32 volumes? If so and you want to sell it fba it would need to go in one single box. Since it will likely be over 50 lbs for the box you have an issue with it being overweight. I would suggest selling it FBM.
@@EnablingEcom awesome thank you! When sending to FBA, if you have like shampoo or mouthwash etc would you just send it in a polybag or would you send each item in a small cardboard box?
If you are setting up a new listing you will need a UPC from GS1. However if you are sending in a bundle on an existing listing you need to print a FNSKU label that looks similar to a UPC label. That label is provided by Amazon.
How would you package small (2oz and 8oz) plastic spray bottles for FBA? Do you think I should tape the spray top lids on so they stay? I was thinking of bubble wrapping them and put inside poly bags with the sold as set sticker and FNSKU printed from the FBA dashboard. Is this enough?
If they are plastic you probably don’t need bubble. I would poly bag them; if done tightly the lids won’t come off and you won’t need tape. But if you think they are really fragile, use bubble. I personally would drop one on the ground a dozen times while it’s poly bagged to see if any damage happens. If no damage don’t use bubble, its probably a waste of material and added prep time.
@@EnablingEcom I put one 8oz in a ziplock bag and dropped it at home and the spray top and lid came off the first drop. I guess a poly bag would be much tighter (the peel & stick kind). Seemed like it needed bubble wrap to be safe.
Check out seller central for more info, but below is some more explanation: Amazon requires poly bags to feature a suffocation warning when said bags have an opening that measures 5 inches or more Amazon also provides an example of suffocation warning text: “Warning: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this bag away from babies and children. Do not use this bag in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens. This bag is not a toy.” Amazon requires that the warning: Should be placed in a prominent location on the bag It should be in readable font size The suffocation warning’s minimum print size depends on the dimensions of the bag, as follows: 10 point - bag’s length and width total less than 29 inches 14 point - bag’s length and width total 30 to 39 inches 18 point - bag’s length and width total 40 to 49 inches 24 point - bag’s length and width total 60 inches or more
Can you just create listings for these or do you need to create a & register a brand first? From what I read, you shouldn’t make generic listings correct?
You can make generic listings but then other sellers, if they have the same products, can then sell the same bundle on the listing. If you register a brand and create listings under that brand, you will be the only seller on those listings.
@@EnablingEcom thanks for the reply! I’m learning that generic listings are being closed down frequently. So if I dont get a GTIN exemption, does that mean I have to register & trademark a brand to even sell other brands ?
"does that mean I have to register & trademark a brand to even sell other brands ?" You do not have to register a trademark to sell other brands. You can sell many brands by adding the branded products to the current listings. The product has to match the current listing. The best route to sell brands is to purchase from authorized distributors or from the brand directly.
Great video.. however I see seller's sending hundreds of items to FBA. Wondering how long will it take is someone follows this strategy? Is there any faster way of doing this? Thanks again for sharing!!
You can use a prep center to do this for you or you can hire assistants. I have staff helping me make these bundles and multipacks. Once you do a few you get into a rhythm. Your speed will increase.
The FNSKU is the code that matters to Amazon. Therefore you want to cover any UPC codes so they don't show. You can use the FNSKU to cover them as well as the SOLD AS SET LABELS or the Expiration Date Label or any bubble wrap you may use.
Thank you for your video. I recently started selling on Amazon. I have the Buy One Get One Offer. Its been a disaster! Amazon ships these in seperate boxes . Customers are confused, items arrive on different days and they are leaving negative feedback thinking they got scammed. I paused for now. Can I bundle and sell a two pack with the same UPC code? Thank you.
Wow that sucks to hear that happened to you. You can create a new listing with the “two pack.” If it’s your brand use a new UPC code. If it’s someone else’s brand, say “Heinz ketchup,” then apply for a gtin exemption for brand “Heinz.”
Hi Matthew! Thank you for the step by step tutorial on this video. Does it always have to be on a clear poly bag? what about if have 2 or 3 pounds school bundle products. Can I use a box? I don’t think clear plastic bag will hold it. Thank you!
Question I have like 6 pack cleaning product sold as 6 set after poly bag should I put them in a box that fit 6 of them and put the fnsku on the outside on the box and as well as sold as set sticker ?
Sounds like it's a "heavy" set of 6 products. If so I would use a box like you mentioned. So if you plan on boxing the 6 products in one box all together. Then I would put the FNSKU label AND the SOLD AS SET label on the OUTSIDE of the sealed box as you stated above. As you likely know, you won't want to include any OTHER products in the box you use for this bundle.
@@EnablingEcom yea I can put in the large box for fba shipment I have some books as well should I put inside with them or put these 6 pack boxes individually separate shipment box with the rest cleaning products I have like 42 each of them or I just put t
I like to pack my boxes with a single SKU when possible(Almost impossible to do that with books). I try NOT to send in mixed boxes; the check in is so much faster this way. But do what's right for you that saves you the most money. You can send in mixed SKU boxes.
Hello! Thanks for putting out this video it was very helpful. I have a question about the whole barcode upc requirements. I’m a brand new seller and my first listing is a bundle of three products. They are not branded so would I need to purchase a UPC code for the multipack? Or really where do I go to find one? Also for a first time seller is there anywhere that prints out labels that you can purchase or is it cheaper to buy the machine?
Great questions. As a new seller it is tough to figure all this stuff out. First question: "so would I need to purchase a UPC code for the multipack?" Answer: No you don't, put it under brand "generic" and for the code select "GTIN." If you haven't gotten a GTIN exemption for "generic" let me know and I will find the link for you and post it here. As for your second question; you can print out the labels if you have a laser printer, use 30-up labels. IF you don't have a laser printer, then I WOULD buy a label printer or a laser printer. I guess you could go to a office store to print the labels, but that would be very time consuming and costly over time.
Thanks for this video. I have question can i create my bundle listing do i need upc or any other requirements or is it legit to create another listing that already listed on amazon. I am curious about that. Please sir reply me.Thanks
The item with the earliest date. So if you had 3 items with expiration dates of 05/2021, 03/2022, and 11/2022 I would use the 05/2021 date for the label.
Thank you for the video. Very informative! I am a seller on FBA. I would like to sell identical items but different colors in a combo pack of two. Black and white for example. Did you have to create a new sku for your combo items? Did you have to create a new ASIN number to be placed on the outside of the polybag? Thank you!
You're welcome Michael. You will need to either create a "variation" of the current listing or create a new listing. Either way will result in a new ASIN and a new Label.
Hi, I would like to answer your question but I'm not sure what you mean by "buying SKU's." In Amazon Seller Central you create a SKU yourself for free, you don't have to buy it. Do you mean a UPC code? If you mean UPC, you don't need to do that either. You can get a GTIN exemption from Amazon and they will create an ASIN for you. Check this link out for some info on that: sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/request-gtin-exemption/449477/3
You're very welcome. One of the major reasons why you WOULD want to buy a UPC code is if you were starting your own brand/private label product. And, you wouldn't want to buy them off EBAY. You would want to register your brand with GS1. Buying UPC codes off EBAY could cause you major issues in the future. If you are simply bundling other branded products together than you shouldn't need to buy a UPC code.
Hello! Thanks so much for the great content! Just a quick question - How do you use both rollo and dymo printers for packaging multi-packs? How are they different exactly?
Hi, you can use either. You don't need both. I was just showing what I had. The rollo is nice because it doesnt use proprietary labels. So in theory they should be cheaper. Also they way the have it setup it doesn't jam like the Dymo.
If the "shipping label" is old and not relevant I would cover it so it is not readable. Shrink wrap is usually clear and transparent therefore the label wouldn't be covered by it.
@@EnablingEcom So If I'm shipping a packaging with newly brought and printed labels stuck on my polymailer for example could wrap shrink wrap over the mailer? The label will usually have a barcode, are you sure the wrap won't block the barcode scanner from reading the barcode?
For small products " sold as set" like any medicine or any personal care items which poly bags type should we use ?.. those not uses for t shirys packaging
I would go with a 6x9 poly bag. Here's a link to the bags I buy: amzn.to/3RdnFhL *disclosure: This is an affiliate link. I receive a small commission from Amazon if you purchase this item.
When you bundle your own favorite items into a single unit like what you did and it happens that does not exist on Amazon listing, even though you do online arbitrage, do you have to creat new listing and advertising for that?
Hello Zander. Yes you have to create a new listing on amazon. And since there isn’t any sales rank on a new listing you will have to advertise it. So be sure your margins are BIG enough to cover advertising as well.
Try boxing them together. You can get custom made boxes that will fit your items perfectly. However there will be volume purchase requirement. Grainger and Uline offer all sorts of box sizes.
I usually have it around 7-8, I guess it all depends on what wrap you are using and the heat sealer. I could imagine that it could be different for each machine and application.
@EnablingEcom thank you! Also, my first shipment is liquid and weighs more than 33 lbs so I'm gonna stickers "heavy package" labels to the box as well as fragile, that's ok?
You are welcome! The "heavy package" stickers are needed for sure! I never put fragile on my boxes because i read a study that says the people who transport your packages are more likely to abuse them when they have those stickers. Just be sure to pack you box well! And good luck!
@EnablingEcom sorry for bothering this much but I'm about to label my boxes, can I stick both FBA label and carrier Label next to each other on the side of the box or should they be separated
You can use the same labels. If you use inventory lab to create your shipping plans and print labels they have a setting to print the expiration date on the FNSKU label so you don't have to waste time labeling the product twice and you save money on labels.
Hi I have a cosmetic product that doesn't actually have an expiration date however Amazon asks me to put one, is it okay if put a date but send without an expiration label
You will need to print the expiration date label and include it on the packaging prior to sending it to amazon. You can often find out the expiration date by referencing the lot number on the packaging. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@EnablingEcom HI I have very little item for cosmetics and I already put the Amazon label on it and once I jumped into creating a shipment it requested me for an expiration date, however it is neither on the package nor on the brands website and now I already stuck the label on the package it might damage it if I take it off and I don't know how to handle it. Would it be a major problem if send as is?
When you have small items, you can poly bag them first which may give you more space to put the labels on the packaging and not damage the product packaging. Small poly bags cost around .05 each; they are worth having around for times like these. Also, I can't recommend you sending anything into Amazon labeled incorrectly. The policies are there for reason and they are meant to be followed.
Does amazon use the terms "multipack" and "bundle" the same way you define? 3 of the same vs 3 different items? because under Amazon's prep guideline for FBA, m.media-amazon.com/images/G/01/fba-help/QRG/FBA-Shipping-Inventory-to-Amazon.pdf Liquids in glass containers over 4oz can't be bundled and sent to FBA. if the terms are used the same way as you, then 2 different flavors won't be allowed but 2 of the same can be.
Multipack = 2 or more of the same exact item Bundle = 2 or more different products brought together and sold as one I believe those are the definitions that Amazon uses.
@@EnablingEcom this is more “how to package a bundle securely. Not how to bundle in general. Seller.amazon.com I want to make a bundle, share screen and show us what to do. Or you could simply add the words “package a” to the thumbnail above your arms to make it match the content. Thanks for the reply

Hello! I have a multipack of six shoe boxes that I need to pack into sets . The dimensions are about one and a half inch thick and they are long like 15 inch. And I have to pack 6 of them in one set and bag. How do I know if all 6 will fit into what? What size should I get. Basically I don’t need the bag longer I need it to be able to expand up and down, also if it’s the same exact sku in one box . Do I send it as a case or as a multi sku? And how do I do the count ? If the multipack is 6 items each, do I count it as quantity one for every multipack so if there is 20 packs of six the count is 20 or do I count individually which will be 120 seperate units.
Hi Rozay, I wanted to help you with your questions as best I can: "What size should I get" You need a wide opening, maybe a 12x18 bag would do. I'm not sure. I never really know until I try with the bags I already have. "If the multipack is 6 items each, do I count it as quantity one?" Yes "if there is 20 packs of six the count is 20 or do I count individually which will be 120 seperate units." If you are selling 6-pack products, then it's 20 units you are selling. If I buy a pack of 10 candy bars(10 Pack), they sell me ONE unit, not 10 units. I am charged ONCE. "Do I send it as a case or as a multi sku" I am not sure I understand your question here. You are selling 20 units(6 packs) of ONE SKU given the above example.

Awesome, thank you for subscribing!
Thank you! I'll buy from your links. Hey how did you print the Best Used By labels?
Thank you much Susan. If you use Inventory Lab then they will include it on the FNSKU label when you print it. Then you don't have to do a separate sticker. Otherwise get a thermal printer for about $100 and you can print out the "Best Used By labels" and FNSKU labels super quick.
I love the shrink wrap. If you were to put 3 bags of seasoning/spices for a bundle - in a shrink wrap, you wouldn't need to also use a polybag, right?

@@EnablingEcom thanks for your reply!
This video is so educating, thank you and i have a question... How would you package a small pieces of items of the same SKU?..... Because there wouldn't be enough space to paste all those label, stickers and expiration date (if it's not showing on the individual unit)
I would try to use a larger bag so I can get all the labels on it that are necessary or use smaller labels

This is.... a bit late compared to when you posted this video.....
Good luck!
Thanks for answering my questions. Can I use white tape to cover barcodes? For bundles
Yes you can; be sure the final prep looks ok. I tend to use blank thermal labels. I still want the product to look decent.
Good Luck!
Thank you so much! Is transparent package a must? Can I put my multipacks in a box?
You can put them in a box. But if you use poly bags instead of boxes, they must be transparent.
Things to think about when creating bundles.
watching you heat the plastic gave me flashbacks of doing that at work and the smell of plastic.... never again
Yea, I prefer poly bagging. No fumes. But shrink is an option.
@@EnablingEcom Thanks, the headaches from the fumes, thankfully i only did it a few times or id probably have cancer by now, it can be quite grim.
Polly bagging for me then!

Here are some answers:
"If I'm bundling product 1+1 and shipping for Amazon FBA, do I print the product's UPC code on that poly bag or will I get an Amazon code to put on the bag?"
Don't print the product's UPC code, you will get a Amazon FNSKU code to label the bag.
" Same if I do a bundle of product 1+2, which code goes on that poly bag?"
Neither product's UPC goes on the poly bag. You will print a Amazon FNSKU code to label the bag.
Good luck and hope the information helps.
@@EnablingEcom it does, thank you so much!
@@EnablingEcom ahhh thanks so much!
@@EnablingEcom Thank you! Yes, there is a listing for all 32 volumes! Will sell it FBM. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. Could you cover the barcodes with a generic blank label?
Yes you can cover them with a blank label
@@EnablingEcom awesome thank you! When sending to FBA, if you have like shampoo or mouthwash etc would you just send it in a polybag or would you send each item in a small cardboard box?
Do you get the UPC for custom bundles like this from Amazon or GS1?
If you are setting up a new listing you will need a UPC from GS1.
However if you are sending in a bundle on an existing listing you need to print a FNSKU label that looks similar to a UPC label. That label is provided by Amazon.
Great video Matthew! Is there a way to get in touch with you?
Sure, you can reach me at my email: matthew.e.urbaniak@gmail.com
Please I want to understand, what's the importance of that suffocation warning?
And what are the information written on it?
Check out seller central for more info, but below is some more explanation:
Amazon requires poly bags to feature a suffocation warning when said bags have an opening that measures 5 inches or more Amazon also provides an example of suffocation warning text:
“Warning: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this bag away from babies and children. Do not use this bag in cribs, beds, carriages, or playpens. This bag is not a toy.”
Amazon requires that the warning:
Should be placed in a prominent location on the bag
It should be in readable font size
The suffocation warning’s minimum print size depends on the dimensions of the bag, as follows:
10 point - bag’s length and width total less than 29 inches
14 point - bag’s length and width total 30 to 39 inches
18 point - bag’s length and width total 40 to 49 inches
24 point - bag’s length and width total 60 inches or more
@@EnablingEcom thank you
if my transparent polybag contains an irrelavant label(not scannable, just showing the model name), would it be fine to keep it next to the SKU label?
Yes that will be fine.
"does that mean I have to register & trademark a brand to even sell other brands ?"
You do not have to register a trademark to sell other brands.
Does the packaging need a UPC code? Can you use the FNSKU to cover the UPC codes on the products?
Thank you!
Yes you can use a box. Be sure to use a "sold as set" label on the box. I use boxes all the time from heavier items.
@@EnablingEcom Yay! Thank you so much, Matthew! I created my very first bundle! Thank you so much for your videos!🙏❤️❤️
One more question, Matthew, will Amazon allow putting trademark logo sticker outside the bundle box? Thank you!
Yes you can place a logo sticker on the outside of the box.

Amazon offers certain prep services for a fee. If you are interested in that you will want to look into that more. Good luck.
Does shrink wrap need suffocation warning too?
No shrink wrap does not currently require a warning.

Which expiration date are you supposed to put if you have 3 different items in that bundle?
Thank you !
May I ask if I should be buying SKUs from EBay for Bundles. I bought a tutorial that says buy skus for bundles
I subbed
Hi, I would like to answer your question but I'm not sure what you mean by "buying SKU's." In Amazon Seller Central you create a SKU yourself for free, you don't have to buy it.
Do you mean a UPC code? If you mean UPC, you don't need to do that either. You can get a GTIN exemption from Amazon and they will create an ASIN for you. Check this link out for some info on that: sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/t/request-gtin-exemption/449477/3
FBAop omg thank you. That’s what I’ll do. She’s the only business coach I’ve seen telling students that
FBAop and your right there UPC codes but I’m going to use the link you provided
You're very welcome. One of the major reasons why you WOULD want to buy a UPC code is if you were starting your own brand/private label product. And, you wouldn't want to buy them off EBAY. You would want to register your brand with GS1. Buying UPC codes off EBAY could cause you major issues in the future.
If you are simply bundling other branded products together than you shouldn't need to buy a UPC code.
Hi Can use colorful bubble wrap?
I don't think there is anything against that. You should be OK.

Hi, you can use either. You don't need both. I was just showing what I had. The rollo is nice because it doesnt use proprietary labels. So in theory they should be cheaper. Also they way the have it setup it doesn't jam like the Dymo.
@@EnablingEcom Got it. Thank you very much for the prompt reply! I'm learning a lot form you=)
With multipacks can I label the same way you did? On the outside?
Yes you want to label each multipack on the outside packaging that keeps them together.

As oposed to one label on each can
Just one label for the 12 pack. Be sure all other barcodes are not showing or are covered.
Can you cover a package with shipping label barcode with shrink wrap?
If the "shipping label" is old and not relevant I would cover it so it is not readable. Shrink wrap is usually clear and transparent therefore the label wouldn't be covered by it.
@@EnablingEcom So If I'm shipping a packaging with newly brought and printed labels stuck on my polymailer for example could wrap shrink wrap over the mailer? The label will usually have a barcode, are you sure the wrap won't block the barcode scanner from reading the barcode?

Yes you can use bubble wrap. And you can print the labels using a thermal printer. They cost around $100
@EnablingEcom Is it okay to use the labels I use for fbsku labels or do they require a different size
You can use the same labels. If you use inventory lab to create your shipping plans and print labels they have a setting to print the expiration date on the FNSKU label so you don't have to waste time labeling the product twice and you save money on labels.
@@EnablingEcom thank you, appreciate it!!
@@EnablingEcom thank you so much!
@EnablingEcom btw can I send anything to AMZ that has more 90 days of expiration days
FNSKU? I thought we used amazon barcodes?
Good question. Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit (FNSKU) is THE AMAZON BARCODE. They both mean the same thing.
Multipack = 2 or more of the same exact item
Bundle = 2 or more different products brought together and sold as one
I believe those are the definitions that Amazon uses.

And I have to pack 6 of them in one set and bag. How do I know if all 6 will fit into what? What size should I get. If the multipack is 6 items each, do I count it as quantity one for every multipack so if there is 20 packs of six the count is 20 or do I count individually which will be 120 seperate units.
Hi Rozay, I wanted to help you with your questions as best I can:
"What size should I get"
You need a wide opening, maybe a 12x18 bag would do. I'm not sure. I never really know until I try with the bags I already have.
"If the multipack is 6 items each, do I count it as quantity one?"
Yes
"if there is 20 packs of six the count is 20 or do I count individually which will be 120 seperate units."
If you are selling 6-pack products, then it's 20 units you are selling.
If I buy a pack of 10 candy bars(10 Pack), they sell me ONE unit, not 10 units. I am charged ONCE.
"Do I send it as a case or as a multi sku"
I am not sure I understand your question here. You are selling 20 units(6 packs) of ONE SKU given the above example.
