Such an underrated album of theirs. You can tell Howard wasn’t in a good place which kind of makes it all the better in a sad way. As with many KSE fans I like Jesse but man do I miss Howard
Such an underrated song and album, all because it wasn't considered hard compared to the previous albums. Howard's voice really shines with raw emotion. I really like KSE with Jesse Leach, but I never get chills from their music like I do with Howard. Such an amazing vocalist and truly the man that made KSE what it is today

Jesse are a good screamer, and Howard is such a great melodic singer. They're perfectly balance.. For me honestly, this is a goodbye song before he left this preciously band
Basically how I say it as well. You want better screams, go for Jesse, you want better melodics, go for Howard, one isn’t better than the other just different
Although tbh I don’t much care for cleans, but I still listen to Howards stuff so there’s something to be said for that

This is arguably the best Killswitch song! The guitar riffs, especially the one during the chorus, plus Howard's vocals/ lyrics... beautiful! My Curse, My Last Serenade, The Forgotten, Unbroken, My Last Serenade, When Darkness Falls, The Element of One, and World Ablaze are all worthy candidates too though. I guess what one could conclude from all these great songs and many more is that Killswitch is the best band in Metalcore!

A much better album than I remember
It always was, people only drag this album because it was a dark period for the band…Howard leaving soon after. No true touring cycle for this album and the band rather not ppen up about it. This is up there with ADD and EOH for some of the best, but because of its baggage a hidden gem has been buried..

This is why I absolutely love KSE. Unlike a lot of other metal bands, they don't take themselves too seriously. They just seem like a bunch of average guys you wouldn't mind hanging out with.

Phenomenal vocal parts

I'm not super up to date with things and I'm not a huge metal person. But there's quite a bit of metal and rock bands I like. KDE is by far one of my favorites. I have end of heartache and this album right here. In my opinion the songs with Howard are amazing. All of them. His vocals fit in perfectly and it goes perfect with the breakdowns. So I'm just saying. Go Howard 😃😃
This is probably one of their best songs,even though not many people know of it.
Remember my sweetheart taking me to his mom's to watch this video on her computer, he didn't have a computer. He texted me after midnight with " Come outside, I want to see you" text. In love as I was, I took off my mask and dressed up. All just to spend time with him and watch and listen to his favorite band and tunes. We would spend hours into the morning watching videos then grab a quick bite 🖤🦇🐈⬛🖤🦇 these were the best nights of my life.

I agree. They're two completely different vocalists. Both of them have great quality. KSE can't go wrong with either of them. Kind of glad they didn't settle for Phil though.

For the many years i have loved KSE i have never heard this song till now
Plot twist: Jesse IS the original singer for Killswitch, Howard had a phenomenal run filling in for Jesse while he was working through some things. Howard may have gotten them more popularity with his more mainstream lyrical stylings and his cover of "Holy Diver" but Jesse's style is straight from the heart and soul. I'm glad to see Jesse back as the front man.

All who dislike these guy's wouldn't know what talent was if it slapped there asses in the face, I'm a 25 year lead vocalist of rock/metal & have heard a lot of different styles & genres but these bro's have shown not only playing ability but the vocalist handles his abilities very well & does an excellent job singing to music so powerful & heavy !!!!!

I agree that there is more to a band than the vocalist but seriously, Howard was unreal. He could growl, scream and his clean vocals were fantastic as well. Jesse is average at best on all of these, Killswitch Engage are a completely different band now, like it or not :( I want Howard back
