We bought a 2021 Flyer. I had the ac unit come loose during driving and electrical fire at Junction box. Intech strung me along for months saying they were going to take care of it but did nothing to cover or take responsibility for damage. I eventually sold it back to the dealership and exchanged for another trailer. Their quality may be good for RV/Trailer standards, but it's low for any other product I've ever bought.
Actual user update: We purchased a 2020 inTech Sol Horizon (single axle) used (barely) in 2021. It's been dragged across America 4 times (based near Chicago) on some of the worst paved (allegedly) roads in America, and it doesn't rattle, leak, get dusty inside, and everything just works. Very good build quality. Folks ask for this and that to be included in future builds, and the company listens. The Horizon line is very fluent with design upgrades. Seems no two are alike, LOL. Solid trailer.
We’ve had our 2021 Sol Horizon Rover since July 2021 (after about a 3 month back order). Since taking delivery we had a few surprising issues that we had not expected from a quality manufacturer. 1. Shipped missing several window blinds that were sent in another order due to back order issue (minimal inconvenience required to make return trip to dealer of 1.5 hour round trip). 2. Seal on bedroom emergency exit window torn resulting in intech sending a replacement window (although the original mfg is now out of business and awaiting another brand replacement for 4 months). 3. On third trip out we had to retract awning due to high winds/rain.That’s when we found out the door window seal had not been installed a water ran in very freely. 4. Heavy rain caused “short” in passenger side brake light that kept it on when disconnected from tow vehicle, battery cut-off, until fully drained battery. Attributed to poorly sealed 7way, but when opened it was completely dry. We purchased thinking I it’d be a good 3 season and acceptable 4 season (r values & heated tanks) but, after camping on New Year’s Day in 30 deg weather, the insulation is no where up to snuff for this type of weather. Air moves freely from under the bed area and continues to flush the heat from the Dometic furnace. Have a 2nd bottle option as you,lol burn through both cylinders in about 3 days. We are now carrying a 3rd emergency backup and a small electric heater to plug-in. We may run this more on shore power as the dometic “cooks” the dinette occupants” while leaving the bed occupants 10 deg cooler due to the drafts. Also, needs a small gray water tank, do not appreciate the black only. Not all negative. We love the layout! Wet bath is terrific (tho a sink in bathroom would be nice), storage space is adequate, torsion axle makes for smooth towing. Both our dealer and intech have been great at addressing manufacturing issues ( let’s blame Covid for supply chain and labor issues). I would like to see intech offer a more rugged insulation package for those of us that truly want a year around camping option.
We are of the opinion that the “best” RV is a very personal issue. We formerly owned and sold what we still believe to be “one of the very best built travel trailers” but we outgrew it and sold it to purchase the Terra. We bought the Terra because it IS well built AND it provides the larger size more appropriate to what we now need. It is NOT a true four season trailer, it doesnt have bumpers or a walkable roof, the windows are single pane, it has 15”rims and trailer tires, and it lacks electric leveling jacks all around. It also lacks for coat closet space. What it has is a very well built substructure, a wide and open feeling cabin, no slides, good sized water/holding tanks, a modern decor, a nice separate bedroom, a nice bathroom and shower, a very well sized refrigerator, and fairly well sized convection microwave. The dinette is dual purpose. Like the “impressive feel” of an Airstream, the Terra wows with it’s simple, open, understated, modern, almost European elegance. And at half the price of an Airstream in a comparable size, it’s no wonder the Terra is getting such great reviews.
Love reading this constructive feedback. From my research I know InTech takes suggestions like the above very seriously and has listened to previous owners in the past to correct issues or nuances even in the few 3ish years the Sol’s have been around. You should reach out to them with this feedback, if you haven’t already, I wouldn’t be surprised if they take note and adapt these changes for future Terra models.
Very good analysis. I had an Airstream and now have a Terra Oasis Rover. Both are very well made and very cool, good looking RVs. I would still give the Airstream the nod on quality, but the Oasis is better value. Also I would put the Oasis quality above the Lance, which I also consider to be a top quality RV. Beyond those three, in my opinion, its a big drop to no. 4
I don't understand - InTech did such a great job with many innovations on this RV only to screw it up big time with a couple a critical things. Why not use Azdel for both inside and outside paneling and give the owner a complete peace of mind from worrying about mold, mildew and delamination. Can't be that much more expensive and most (if not all) customers would gladly pay a little extra for that peace of mind with Azdel and no wood. And why not insulate better to allow for extended use - at least 3 seasons if not all 4 seasons. This particular trailer seems to be designed to appeal to a significant population of boondockers or no hook-up campers. The recent addition of the solar package is a great thing for such campers. So why deprive the same customers from a better insulation in this trailer to help them better manage their energy used in heating or cooling this trailer? These omissions will only lower the appeal for the intended customer. Fix these two things and I will place an order.
We owned a Horizon for 13 months and camped in it for 30-ish nights. The quality and design are top notch. Be prepared to have a lot of people looking at your rig. We sold the Horizon in two weeks for asking price when we put a deposit down on a Terra, that should be arriving in June or July. We decided to upgrade mainly for the north-south bed and what we feel like is an ideal bathroom layout with the separate toilet and shower. BTW, the fiberglass shower with exterior-type door is such a great idea. Some people question whether the fully aluminum frame is as durable as steel. My question to them: How many steel framed aircraft do you see flying around? LOL!
We have a 2020 Sol Dawn for 3 years now. Camp pretty frequently. Only down side is the size. Camper still looks brand new and we plane to upgrade to the new O-V-R Adventure for more size and and longer trips with my motorcycle.
We have owned a Sole Horizon for a year now. We have taken it out 10 time for 5 days each at a distance from home of 200 mi. round trip avg. It has worked great for our camping needs. We pull it with a Nissan NV3500 and when other campers see the combo they stop and look. The unit still looks brand new.

I just ordered the New Flyer Forge! I'm super excited about it because in my professional opinion of being a mechanic of 30 years, This is the only one I would buy. This is my first New camper I have ever purchased but from what I can tell, I shouldn't have the problems other RV's have while traveling down the road. There are others with this same design but none have an aluminum welding cage. other manufactures do make an aluminum welded cage but none with this similar design. IMO, Intech is one of the best RV manufacturers for traveling down the down out trailers.
We've had a Flyer for about 3 years and have been out in it many times. Everything still works like the day we took delivery and it looks nearly new. Best built trailer on the market IMO. The fit and finish is perfect on it and constructed like a tank. If I had to complain about something, it'd be the floor could use a bit more insulation, but $5 worth of bubble insulation from Home Depot fixed that up. I highly recommend them if you're looking at one that fits your style.
@@farstrider79 I just rolled out two lengths to fit, taped them together for the width and put them under the matresses on the floor. That way you can pull them out and replace or whatever.
I want the Horizon Rover so bad but I haven’t been about to find one here in SoCal to look at. There was one out of state I was going to see but they were closed for the Easter weekend I was there visiting. We need to make sure 6’2” hubby is comfortable enough in it and I also need a really good AC system that will keep me cool if we accidentally go camping on a too hot weekend.

The Terra has the largest interior area of any trailer on the market with out slide outs. The interior is huge and spacious. We have more than enough storage for myself the wife and two chihuahuas. We Boondock and with my formidable solar system I installed, The Terra is the ultimate Boondocking Machine. The ground clearance is amazing. I’ll never own anything but InTech as it exceeds anything on the market and that just a fact

@2:13 check out the notorious cracking of aluminum
👍
I do not see a crack, I see a weld that was ground down?
Missing many features for the price range.
The cage is good but the walls, roof, windows and the seals are no good, very poor quality intech RV…
Sorry but No Hut with exit ventilation over the Stove? Come on!NOT FOR ME!
We just put a deposit down on a Terra!
Awesome, goos luck!
Can you updates us? How do you like it?
@@jeffcoleman7019 I think my first reply was erased. We really love our Terra Oasis, but we find ourselves needing more space because grandkids would like to go on some trips with us. Let me know if you have interest in it.
All the Amish working on the line.
Wow, terrible insulation. I can’t believe they don’t even insulate the walls/ceiling.
No more intech rv for me.
What??!!!!!!!
😃
Luann not Azdel = fail. Nice styling though.
I think they said the Luan is on the inside as the interior wall panel backed by a foil insulation blanket. 02:25 I believe Keith said that there is Azdel under the figerglass exterior. 04:25 Full length fiberglass roof.
Poorly quality, intech rv and toy haulers are very poor in quality…
