A few Chelsea related points of interest, winning the Champions League (the elite European Cup Competition) was the 17th major trophy over the last seventeen years, which also meant that they were the most successful English Club/Team in terms of trophies over that period of time.
Winning the Champions League for a second time also meant they became the first club to win all the European Cup Competitions (European Cup/Champions League, UEFA Cup/Europa League and Cup Winners Cup) at least twice.
They are one of five European clubs who have won all the European Cup Competitions and were the first english club to do so back in 2013.
Interestingly the previous time they won the Champions League (in 2012) they also sacked the Manager halfway through the season. The current one, Thomas Tuchel by taking Chelsea to the final created some history of his own, he became the first manager to reach successive Champions League Finals but with different clubs - he was manager of a French side PSG the previous season.
BTW if you get the chance see if you can find extended highlights of Chelsea vs Bayern Munich Champions League final in 2012, that one game perfectly summed up Chelsea's crazy route to the final that season, there were a number of times of when Chelsea were in danger of being knocked out from the competition and the final was similar in that on a number of times it seemed that Chelsea were going to lose the final. For that final Chelsea were huge underdogs Bayern the massive favourites, since the final was being played in their own stadium, but somehow Chelsea overcame the odds once again, just like they did in the Semi Final 2nd leg that season against Barcelona. Yes being in Munich in 2012 is something that I will never forget.
This short UEFA film of the 2012 final gives you an impression of the match:

Then, the 2012 Champions League Final:

Moscow in 2008 I won't forget for an entirely different reason, it rained most of day which didn't help, it was an experience walking around Red Square, but the result of the final, well... it was the first all English Champions League Final: Chelsea vs Manchester United

So many questions to answer and I've forgotten most of them already.
By the way, interesting factoid: one of Chelsea's players, Christian Pulisic, has just become the first American to win the Champions League. I believe he is from Hershey Pennsylvania.
Also, the goalkeeper is allowed to go anywhere on the field, but he is only allowed to touch the ball with his hands within the big box area around his goal.

Maybe even more than one of it was a big foul. You also have yellow cards. Then nothing happens but with two yellow cards you get a red card. So you must be more careful.

You jumped in at the deep end so I recommend you watch some videos on the basics of football and the champions league. To answer a few questions I've heard you bring up so far:
The pink kit was simply Chelsea's "away kit". Teams have a home kit for when they play at their own ground(Stamford Bridge, London for Chelsea) and a second kit for when they play away from home(on the road). A clubs colours are often steeped in history and Chelsea have played in blue for over a century. Their club anthem is called "blue is the colour".
The kick that was taken from the corner of the pitch is simply called a corner. The opposition had cleared the ball off the pitch, behind their own goal that they're defending. This means Chelsea get a corner which is a chance to pass the ball in from the corner of the pitch. I recommend looking at the basic rules of football to understand it more clearly
On the size of goals, I can't remember the exact size without googling it. The goalkeeper is often the tallest member of the team. Most goalkeepers are at least 6'2 but some are close to 6'10 or taller. A keepers kit is decided by the club but is a different colour to make it easier for the referees to see who's who.
A draw in a competition group stage or league results in both teams receiving 1 point. A win is 3pts, a draw is 1 and a loss is 0.
The champions league starts with a group stage. There are 8 groups each containing 4 teams. The teams all play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top 2 teams from each group(the ones with the most points) progress from the group and into the round of 16. From here the competition becomes a "knockout tournament". The round of 16, quarter finals and semi finals are all "2 legged matches". The teams will play each other twice and the scores from both games are added together(An aggregate score). It's best to research this yourself as things like away goals and extra time are important to learn.
The final is a 1 off game that is held at a neutral venue which is decided before the tournament even begins. The winner receives the champions league trophy, affectionately nicknamed big ears. It's the highest honour in club football
It is very common to have players and managers of different nationalities in a team. Chelsea have players from France, Germany, England, Spain etc etc.
The goalkeeper can use their hands to touch the ball inside the big box(18 yards)

    • @stephanb9920

Since this person answered the most important stuff I'm going to give some details specific to the video.
Stamford Bridge is indeed Chelseas home turf.
The Teams Sevilla (from Sevilla, Spain), Stade Rennais (from Rennes, France) and Krasnodar (from Krasnodar, Russia).
Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid as well as Manchester United and Manchester City are different clubs from the same city.
London has also several big clubs, like Arsenal, Fulham, Queens Park Rangers, Tottenham and Chelsea (and some more).
      FC Porto (from Porto, Portugal)
And in the end the Final should have been in Istanbul, but because of Corona it was relegated to Portugal (Porto).
And to elaborate on internationals, yes they are very common.
In many big leagues (Germany, France, England, Spain, Italy) they often make up 50% or more of one given Team.
The two interviewed were both from Chelsea and both German.
The player Kai Havertz and the Manager (how the english call them, called Trainer/Coach in most other countries) Thomas Tuchel

  • @Chelsearule4ever
    @Chelsearule4ever 3 года назад +10

Yeah so basically with all teams they have 2-3 different kits. Home Kit that they wear when they face another team at their home stadium in Chelsea's case their home kits is always blue and they play at Stamford bridge.
Away kit when they playing away from their ground and are playing at another teams ground.
And lastly a third kit which is one that they will decide to wear randomly if they aren't wearing their away kit.
Sometimes the club's will wear their home kits away if their opponents kits is not the same colour or a similar colour

US sports in general are artificial in as much as a 'Franchised' team can't really lose. because you don't have a Pyramid league system with promotion and relegation. In European and most of the rest of the world apart from the USA sports. if you come bottom of your league, the lowest three teams are relegated down a league and the top 3 teams from the league below are promoted up a league. this leads to actual meaningful competition with glory if a team wins and consequences if they lose. so in theory, and occasionally in practice. a small town, relatively less well funded team can climb several leagues through promotion and win the Premier league and in doing so, win the opportunity to compete in the European Champions League. the pinnacle of World Club football. It's what dreams are made of.

    As a former goalkeeper:
    1) A football goal is 24ft wide by 8ft high.
    2) The 6yd by 20yd "box area" immediately in front of the goal is called the "goal area" and is the area from which a GK can re-start the game when the ball has gone out of play (i.e. a "goal kick").
    3) The 18yd by 44yd bigger area is called the "penalty area" (also known as "the box"). A goalkeeper is allowed to handle the ball with his hands within this area, and is subjected to the same rules and laws of the game while it's outside of said area. So, technically the keeper is not restricted within the box, i.e. he can roam the field, if he wants to, but can only touch the ball with his hands within the penalty area. Also, the penalty area name refers to the geographical area in the pitch where (almost, there are rare exceptions) fouls the defending team commits causes a penalty kick to be awarded to the attacking one.

To answer your question about Manchester Utd & City being the same thing, what do you think the reaction would be if you asked fans of the New York Jets and New York Giants if they were the same thing? 😅

  • @chrisfahy8880
    @chrisfahy8880 3 года назад +1

Some of the questions you had:
    1) The size of the goals are 24ft x 8ft, so pretty large but not too easy to score!
    2) Goalkeepers tend to be quite tall though it isn't always the case. Typically taller than 6ft though.
    3) Goalkeepers kits are different to the outfield players. Clubs will typically have 2/3 different kits each season. A home kit (their main colour), an away kit, and often a 3rd kit. Home and away kits will typically be worn when playing either home or away, and it is to avoid a colour clash. The goalkeeper kits correspond with this, but will always be different to the outfielders.
    4) Penalties are awarded for fouls inside the box and handballs inside the box. This is a spot kick from 12 yards out. For fouls/handballs outside the box they are given freekicks instead.
    5) For fouls that are bad enough, the ref will award a yellow card to the player. If a player gets 2 yellow cards they are sent off for the game (so the team is down to 10 men). For a terrible tackle/dangerous play/abuse etc. the ref will give a straight red card and the player is sent off immediately.
    6) Yes players from all over the world on the same team is very common. In domestic leagues a large chunk will be from the country they are in, but probably around half will be from other countries. Especially in the larger leagues such as the premier league.
    7) Football is a contact sport so some grappling and shoulder barging is allowed. However, over the years it is getting less and less rough and fouls are given much more easily now.
    8) The goalkeeper is allowed to go everywhere on the pitch. The18-yard box is there because this is the part of the field in which the goalkeeper can use their hands to pick up the ball. The 6-yard box is more of a guideline and will be where goalkicks are taken from.
    9) The small stadium played at in the semi finals with Real Madrid is their training ground not their usual stadium - this was due to Covid I'm pretty sure.
    10) Rain is honestly the best football weather. It does make the ball slippery and slides across the surface a bit more. The main issue when it rains is it makes it much harder for the goalkeeper.
    11) Usually there are around 30 players in the 'first team' of a club. On a match day you can typically have an 18 man squad (11 in the team and 7 on the bench).

Stamford Bridge Stadium, first built in the 1860s, is named because the location is near the Stamford Bridge, one of the bridges over Counters Creek (later Kensington Canal), which in the early 18th century was a stream tributary to the River Thames. The creek was culverted in 1859 and the course is virtually where the railway now passes next to the Stadium. The remains of the Kensington Canal where it flows into the Thames is now called Chelsea Creek. The Stadium is virtually on the site of where the Fulham Road crossed the creek and this was called the Stamford Bridge. If you google Stamford Bridge Stadium you can follow the railway line down towards the Thames and see where the creek comes out of it's culvert by Chelsea Creek, then street view on Chelsea Harbour Drive on the bridge over the creek and you can see the end of the culvert. London's history of underground rivers is really fascinating and a rabbit hole on it's own.

25:15 These games were both actually held in Seville (the same place Chelsea played Sevilla in Spain, earlier in the tournament). Porto's home stadium Is the Dragao in Portugal, but Covid is a thing, hence the change.....of course, Chelsea played the final in the Dragao eventually. So bit of a mistake in that video. Weird season....

Hey! Nice change of pace, and surprising choice for reaction! and as usual, you're asking all the right questions! Personally found the plays difficult to follow, and wondering whether the editing was maybe not the best? Also, focus on just the goals means we don't get to enjoy quality passing and movement; maybe there weren't any in this championship - I don't know, didn't watch it. No question that with no crowds, there was little atmosphere. Re practice: well, as a professionanl classical musician I have to say that if I missed as many notes as these footballers missed goals, I would soon be out of a job! just saying....

Guys instead of having a go at her for not understanding things why not just explain what you know to her? At least she is making an effort. So one thing I saw from this and other videos is that you were confused about the difference between the champions league and the Euros.
In football there are Club competitions (which consists of club teams from different cities, such as Manchester United and Liverpool), then there are International team competitions (consisting of course of different countries). So the Champions league is a European competition for the best club teams in Europe, whereas the Euros(every 4 years) or World cup (every 4 years) are for national teams. For club teams, players can be of any nationality but for the Euros and world cup each country selects their best players from multiple leagues to represent the whole nation.
Hope that was a helpful explanation.

Hi Sogal, modern Association Football (Soccer) started in 1863 with the foundation of the English FA (Football Association). It started as a strictly amateur sport but professionalism was allowed from the 1880s. The English Football League started in 1888 and consisted mainly of clubs from the West Midlands and North West of the country. In Soccer 'team' refers to the 11 players on the pitch (field) and any substitutes whereas 'club' refers to the whole institution including players, management, groundsmen, physios and canteen staff. There's loads more to ad but I think I've already gone on too long. Hope this helps a bit. 😉

Football is generally played on grass rather than astroturf, especially at the highest level, so wet ground massively changes how the ball moves. If it hasn’t rained then the pitches are watered to make the passes move quicker along the ground. If it’s rains too much then the pitch can start flooding and the ball basically gets stuck when it lands. When people knee slide it’s on wet grass so doesn’t really hurt.

The Champions League has 32 teams divided into 8 groups of 4. Each team plays each other twice and the top 2 teams from each group go into the round of 16 which is essentially the start of a play off system.
In the round of 16 each team plays two games (or legs) one home, one away and the winner over the course of two games goes into the quarter finals.
The quarter finals and semi finals work the same way as the round of 16.
The final itself is just one game. Played in a city that has been chosen to hold the final (similar to the Superbowl).

Champions League has two stages: the group stage (8 groups, 4 teams in each group) and the knockouts. At the group stage you get 3 points for winning the game, 1 point for a draw and nothing for a lose. Teams play against each other within a group 2 times (home match and an away one), two best teams go further to the knockout stage. At the knockouts (1/8, 1/4, semifinals and a final) teams play a home and an away match against the opponent, if they have a draw after two games, they have additional 30 minutes, and if it doesn't help, they strike penalties. A final is one game at the neutral ground

Stamford Bridge is the name of a) a village in Yorkshire which was the site of a famous battle at which an English Army led by King Harold defeated an invading Viking Army, before marching 250 miles to meet another invading army, the Normans, three weeks later at Hastings; and b) a minor district of London where Chelsea's stadium is situated; c) the name of Chelsea's stadium which they inherited from the London Athletics Club. London is 200 miles from Stamford Bridge battle site. Both sites are believed to derive their names from old English "Samfordesbrigge" meaning "the bridge at the sandy ford".

    Q1. What's with the pink?
A1. Football clubs have two kits. A 'home' kit and an 'away' kit. These change by style/colour each season but, in Chelsea's case, their home kit is royal blue with white socks and their away kit was a pink/blue with blue socks. They were playing in Russia in that game so 'away' from 'home'. Sometimes they'll have a third kit but the rules on when they're used are a bit wishy washy.
    Q2. What's Stamford Bridge?
    A2. Chelsea's home stadium.
    Q3. Where's Rennes?
A3. North Western France; close to Brittany. Roazhon Park is the home stadium of Stade Rennais.
    Q4. Was that a pass?
A4. Kind of. It was a 'corner kick'. They are awarded to a team if the ball crosses the opposing teams goal line by deflecting off an opposition player. The team get a chance to deliver an unimpeded cross from the corner where other members of their team will attempt to attack in the hopes of scoring a goal.
Q5. What happens if no-one wins?
A5. In a league fixture, both teams will receive 1 point. In cup competitons, if the teams are drawing at full time then they will play extra time and then penalties if there is a still a draw. The champions league uses an aggregate system that doubles the value for goals scored away. Since the teams play each other twice, if a team drew 1-1 and scored away from home and then the return leg was 0-0 the team that scored the away goal would win and proceed in the tournament.
Q6. Sevilla is Spanish and they're playing there?
A6. Yes. In the early stages of the champions league, the teams are sorted into groups of 4 and each team in those groups plays each other twice - home and away. That's why they've been mentioned a couple of times. The top two teams from each group proceed to the knockout rounds - 'round of 16' being the first.
Q7. How big are goals and do they always try to get big dudes to be goalies? Do they pick the colour?
A7. About 24ft x 8ft. Goalkeepers are usually tall but there are exceptions. Small but nimble athletes can be goalies too - Oliver Khan for example. I don't believe they choose the colour of the kit; that's generally something decided by the club but the goalie is distinct from the rest of the team.
Q8. Is that a penalty kick?
A8. Yes. If the defending team foul a member of the opposing team in the box around the goal then a penalty kick is awarded. There are some other cases where a penalty is awarded too but they are more rare (handball etc.).
Q9. Are they in the spain in the round of 16?
A9. Yes. They played Atletico Madrid. Considered the second team of Madrid because the city also has the legendary Real Madrid. However, they just won La Liga (Spain's top league) and have been a progressively well managed and well performing for some years now.
Q10. What happens when they get a red card?
A10. The player that receives the card is sent off and can't be replaced, giving an advantage to the other team. If the foul happens in the penalty area then a penalty is awarded. If it's anywhere else they will likely be awarded a free kick (an unimpeded pass / shot).
    Q11. Is the manager French?
A11. No he's German. It's common in top level European football for players and coaches of almost all teams to be from a host of different nations.
Q12. What's the goalie doing there?
A12. Good question! They can technically go anywhere they want on the pitch but their job is to stop goals going in. He may have felt that coming forward would narrow the angle or put him in a better spot to get the ball if the attacking player overran it. In this case he got rinsed haha
Q13. How many teams are left in the semi finals?
    A13. Four.
Q14. Does the rain affect the ball?
A14. It makes it move more quickly over the surface. The players will have studs that can stop them slipping about. It's actually common for teams that are confident attackers to water their pitch heavily before a game to get the ball moving better.
Q15. Why is the goalie there (part 2)?
A15. I can't recall exactly but I think he went forward to get the ball from the player to the left but it ended up in the air where it fell onto the head of Timo Werner. Probably a good idea generally but on this occasion... he got rinsed.
Q16. Is Man City the same as Man United?
A16. No! A bit like Madrid; one city two teams and they hate each other.
Q17. The final's in Istanbul right?
A17. It was going to be but it was moved to Portugal due to covid outbreaks in Turkey. The final is usually played at a neutral venue where there is no home advantage to either side.
    Q18. They get medals too?
A18. Yeah. The runner up gets some silver medals and the winners get a gold medal along with the cup.
Q19. How many players are on a team?
A19. 11 per side playing and a variable amount of substitues depending on the competition. There isn't a limit on how many total players a club can have as far as I know but it gets difficult to manage a lot.
As a side note; football is basically a religion for some which is why the passion is so intense.

When a football (soccer) player contacts the ball with their head, its called a header. Also in the clip when the team mate passed the ball in, that was called a corner because it was taken by the corner of the pitch in the little quadrant and by the flag, a corner is an example of a set piece, like a free kick. A penalty is not a set piece.

If a draw can stand or not depends on the competition. A regular league like the German Bundesliga lets them stand. The teams get 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. The tally at the end of the season determines the standing in the league. This rule is also used in the Champions League group stage. Some tournaments (like the world cup) also have knockout games where in the event of a draw after the regular 90 minutes, another 30 minutes is played. If the game is still drawn, a penalty shootout is used as a tie breaker.

Stamford Bridge is the stadion used by Chelsea in Fulham, London, named after a bridge, which once was there. Krasnodar is a team and city in Russia. So the first team is home and the third name is the stadion or arena. Yes, Sevilla is a city in Spain, Porto in Portugal. The most soccer teams are named after cities (and sometimes villages). A foul means a free kick. But within a certain distance from the goal it means a penalty kick, from 11 m distance, only the goal keeper defending. The greater rectangle shows the distance, the point for the penalty kick is inside the curve. Thomas Tuchel, the coach of Chelsea, is german. And yes, they have coaches and players from all over the world. Outside the USA sports are an international thing. There are situation, a goal keeper leaves his goal. You can see, what I mean, when you watch a whole game. The Trick is, to be back in time. The last game of champions league takes place in a default city, not in the city of one of the teams. There are soccer clubs in nearly every village or town in Europe.

    - Yes, FC is football club. I'd guess that club is what you'd call the franchise - it's the whole organisation. Team would generally just refer to the players the club has out on the pitch but it's not too unusual for the club to be referred to as the team.
    - Each country has its own league structure. In England, the top league is the Premier League. The top few clubs at the end of one season (how many varies according to the country) go into the Champions League the next season. Clubs continue to compete in their domestic leagues (in their own countries) but they have additional matches in the Champions League against the top clubs from the other countries. So winning the Premier League makes you champions of England, while winning the Champions League makes you champions of Europe.

A few quick answers to your questions in simple terms. At 10 minutes, that is known as a 'Corner'. If the defending team knock the ball over the back line, then the attacking team, get a corner kick from whatever side of the goal the ball went over the back line. If the ball is knocked out of bound along the side line, the team who didn't knock if over the line, get a 'Throw in', when they stand on the line where the ball went over and get a free throw to, hopefully, their own team. In football, you are not allowed to touch the ball with your hand or arms, except the goal-keepers. If you do, it is 'handball' and the team who didn't handle the ball, get a free kick, from wherever the handball took place, except, if the handball took place within the penalty area (the white box around the goal), in which case, the team who didn't handle the ball, get a penalty - which is where the ball in placed on the penalty spot (the white spot in front of the goal) and the player gets a free shot at the goal, with only the goal-keeper defending. The champions league is played across Europe, where the champions of each country, then compete against each other for 'The Champions Cup'.

Uniforms, about that. Teams have their "home" and "away" uniforms they usually wear depending on if they play at home or on the road, if the colour schemes of two playing teams aren't too similiar they'd often opt to wear their home kit even on away games. Well they actually have also a third kit.
Stamford Bridge is Chelsea's home stadium.
Subtiitles were French because that probably was a feed from French TV, but the manager (Thomas Tuchel) is indeed not English, he's German.
The final was supposed to take place in Istanbul but was moved to Porto because of covid.

The football goal is actually 8 feet (ca. 2,44m) high and 24 feet (ca. 7,32m) wide. Football was invented at a time when the imperial measurement was the standard in Britain.

I live near Rennes, it's a city in the Brittany region (north western part of France). Rennes is pronounced like Ren.
Rennais is the adjective of what comes from Rennes. Stade Rennais FC means Rennes's stadium football club.
The name of the stadium is Roazhon Park. Roazhon is the Breton (local Celtic language) name of Rennes, and "park" is just to sound like other Celtic stadium in UK.
Fun fact, it's previous name was "Stade de la route de Lorient" (Lorient road stadium), but the city of Lorient also have a football team (the team I'm rooting for, even if it's a small club). So some people made fun of Rennes's supporters because even their stadium was named after another club.

Very cool your desire to know more about football. I watch from Brazil and I suggest you react to Copa Libertadores, the South American version of the Champions League and especially the South American fans.

Next time you make a reaction video to football (I mean the real football we play in England) let me know, I can join you and answer your questions at the time :)

Goal dimensions, 8yds wide, 10ft high. Standing on the line makes it harder for the keeper to block shots, but narrowing the angle by coming off the line can do wonders and make strikers lives miserable.

Each country in Europe has it's own top domestic league. The winner of each country's top league (plus some other top teams depending on the size and prestige of the country, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc) take part the following year in The European Champions League, the highest European competition for clubs. It becomes a knockout competition from the quarter finals onwards. Often clubs are named for the towns they come from, but not always. Chelsea FC are from the London district of Chelsea in the UK. Their home stadium is called Stamford Bridge. Traditionally Chelsea FC wear all royal blue with white socks, and the away team is often obliged to change their strip colour in case of a similarity in kits, hence seeing Chelsea in pale blue and sometimes 'ember flame' (I say pink) as it is called by the maker Nike. In fixture names the team first is the Home team which is opposite to American Football. Although there is a lot of strategy and tactics involved, improvisation is also on show.

Champions League has 32 teams from nations throughout Europe who were considered the most successful in their countries game the year before (The English League gets 4 places for the highest finishing teams)
The 32 Teams are split into 8 groups of 4 teams with home and away matches played against the other 3 teams in your group. (3 Points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a defeat)
The 2 teams in each group with the most points after each team has played 6 games qualify for the knockout stages.
First the round of 16 where you play home and away with the scores added together to decide the winner
Then the quarter final which works the same as the round of 16
Then the semi final which is the same
The final is a single match played in a neutral venue where the winner takes the trophy.
The words as you figured out before each game were:
    Home Team
    Away Team
    Stadium

Fun fact: The game "American Football" was originally called "Rugy Football" in England, where it was invented. Still today, this game is known around the world as "Rugby", because the "Football" part was dropped to avoid confusion with the other Football/Soccer game (which makes sense, since Footbal involves a ball played with foots while Rugby usually doesn't). However "American Rugby Football" dropped the "Rugby" part instead of the "Football" part. So technically, it should be named "American Rugby" - this way, there wouldn't be any confusion.

The sport is universally referred to in Europe as football. But the full name is Association Football, abbreviated to soccer. This differentiates it from all the other variations (Rugby, Union, Rugby League Australian Rules, Gaelic, American Rules etc).

Another Tottenham Hotspur supporter here. I know that Marina Sirtis is a massive Spurs fan, so you must have been talking about her. The brand new Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London is an engineering marvel because it's the only stadium in existence that can hold both European and American football matches simply by rolling out the appropriate turf. This changing of turfs takes only 25 minutes and is a unique masterpiece of engineering. It means that the Tottenham stadium can host events in both sports during the same day. With your links to Star Trek and Marina Sirtis, it stands to reason that you should become a staunch supporter of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. 😀

Goalkeepers aren't required to stay there, but the only thing that is required is that they are only allowed to handle the ball in the larger "box". All the markings on the field are limiting. the larger box is the "penalty area", fouls in there against attackers cause penalty kicks, and the goalkeeper is only allowed to handle it there. The smaller box is the "6 yard" or "6 meter" box. Basically if a "minor" infraction occurs within the box its placed on the 6 line and players are allowed to stand on the goal line. Its the only time when defenders are allowed within 10 meters of a free kick. Technically goalkeepers can stray all around the pitch, but they usually don't because that would leave their goal undefended by a player that can use their hands.

There are more than twice as many people living in Europe as in USA. 44 countries and 6 partly in Europe. Football is the major sport and there are thousands of teams competing. Everybody's dream is to get to the major leagues so you can imagine the feeling when you get there and win it!!
