- I was surprised to find the x-shot insanity rage fire along with the mad mega barrel on Amazon, so I had to pick up both. Coming with more than enough darts to fill it's chain, this motorized minigun, is a blast to weild.

i am heavy weapons guy, and this, is my weapon.
No it not compatible with crusher chains. No feed hole-in-the-chain.
There is a compatible chain on dart zone called the Adventure Force V twin pack that also comes with extra darts but sometimes jams inside but I think with just a little hot glue around the end of the shells would make the chain stay in place

The moment they start selling spare chains I'm going to buy 10 of them.
(PSA: It does *not* work with Crusher chains. The hole is required to push the darts.)

Anyone opened one up and worked out if it'll take oh, i don't know, stryfe cages? (I've got a Havok fire I was thinking of putting a cage in, but this is looking like a better option for mingun flywheel madness).
Not yet, but it could, depending on how fast the chain loading mechanism can move

Does the barrel move without chain in? We put batteries in but the barrel doesn't spin

I don’t know anything about imrs so why did you put 4 imrs in and two dummies instead of 6 imrs?
6 imrs would overwork the motors and basically cook them, the dummies even out the power distribution. Basically, 1 imr is the same power as 2 regular AAs

What batteries are you running (link if possible)? Yours fires WAY faster than mine stock

Never mind. Was running some offbrand batteries (harbor freight brand new) and they were garbage. Went to new energizers and it’s back on par.
