this song was written because a girl contacted the band about their friend who committed suicide. this was her favorite band so vic wrote this to pay tribute to her.

Yeah most people can’t stand the vocals but you cannot deny the talent these guys have. Truly awesome instrumentals, they never put in less than 100%

I've heard this song 100+ times and play it on guitar too but you just made me realize, I had completely missed the meaning of this song.. Your interpretation really came together by the end man. I think that backstory on it might have been referring to Hold on Till May though... but hey I might be wrong on that too xD
