"I don't know how Taiwan doesn't have a higher profile." Exactly what I was thinking today as I walked through Beitou (thanks for that helpful video, too, by the way!).
It really is surprising! Though it does seem to be catching on in popularity! Hope you're having an amazing trip to Taiwan!! And thank you so much for your comment! It makes us so happy to hear that you found that video helpful!! :D
Taiwan is an amazing country, such a small island with many mountains, beautiful scenery, and beautiful coasts all around! If your next stop is Taitung, you can go surfing~~😆
Absolutely agree - there is so much that Taiwan has to offer!! We unfortunately did not make it to Taitung on this trip, but we would love to see it when we visit Taiwan again!
I believe the people of Taiwan, the Taiwanese as a whole, have made tremendous effort to be self-reliance and to protect their environment. It truly is the people who make it possible.
I am very surprised that you also went to Hualien. I lived in Hualien for more than a year and served as a soldier! (Young men in Taiwan are in good health and are obliged to serve in the military)...During those days, when I still call me going to Hualien, it was not "going" to Hualien, but "going back" to Hualien...the mountains there, The sea, aborigines, streams and rivers are so shocking and nostalgic... When we were in the military camp in Hualien, we often went to Taroko Gorge to explore during the holidays. Before the National Park banned people from playing in the water, we also went to swim in the Shakadang River... Haha... We like to ride in the middle of the night The locomotive goes to the Yexi Hot Spring deep in the canyon, soaking in the hot spring in the canyon at night... that is a very memorable memory... If you come back to Hualien next time, I suggest you rent a locomotive to travel... As long as you have a locomotive, Then you will be able to play more places and adventures... When I was watching you walking on the Shakadang trail, I didn’t realize your editing creativity... Later I understood... You took the process of walking Shakadang as a backbone and a big tree, and connected them in series , interspersed with... other clips of your travels in Hualien... this is a great idea... like a big tree stretching out its branches and leaves... haha. Another thing that surprised me was... You actually went to the estuary of the Hualien River, which is the tip of the starting point of the Haimai Mountains... that place, Taiwanese people don't necessarily know... this is amazing. Hualien and Taitung are beautiful places, very suitable for living for a while...I know that there are many artists who live in seclusion in Hualien, and some foreigners who come to Taiwan live there...Some of them live in Taitung, surfing and tracing the river every day And adventures... such as this www.youtube.com/@followxiaofei Next time you have the opportunity to go back to Hualien, let’s have fun for a few more days! I wish you all the best.
Hualien is so beautiful! I think it has become more popular with foreigners lately - we decided to go because we have friends who own a tour company there and told us how awesome it is! That sounds like you had a lovely time while you lived there. Next time we will need to look into renting a vehicle of some sort! We're a bit afraid of scooters (we crashed one a few years ago!), and our US drivers licenses had just expired at the time we were in Hualien, but next time we will need to plan better! And yes!! that is exactly what we did on the Shakadong!! We did not quite get to make this video as we had initially planned it because we had a family emergency going on at the time - so we had a lot of plans changed. BUT we still wanted to make something about Hualien! We did not know the estuary was such a special place! It was one of our favorite days there though. It was so beautiful and peaceful! We will definitely check out the youtube you recommended. And would love to keep in touch and visit again sometime. We loved Taiwan so we definitely want to visit again in the future!! Thanks again for watching, and taking the time to share all of this! We really love getting comments like yours that share extra stories and information about a place - it makes it more special!! :D
This episode is really great, I was very moved after watching it, you have studied Hualien very thoroughly! No matter the theme, content, dialogue, editing are beyond the standard! This kind of excellent quality video is not inferior to the programs of TLC channel at all, I hope everyone can help share your videos! In fact, TLC channel can consider adopting your videos or directly hire you both as producers and hosts! The scenery in eastern Taiwan is really amazing, and through your video, I can feel that the local air quality must be very good! Watching you walk that dangerous path, my feet feel paralyzed unconsciously! You found that the roof with a 360-degree panoramic view of Hualien is really amazing, I want to give you applause! Kuann-tshâ-pang/ 棺財版 is a Taiwanese snack, a local specialty in Tainan, and is also well-known in Hualien. It was founded in the 1940s in the market commonly known as Shakariba on Zhongzheng Road, Tainan. Taroko's bamboo tube rice is special because it must be taken from fresh bamboo, so the rice will have a light bamboo fragrance! It is completely different from the bamboo tube rice that is sautéed with white rice or added with too much seasoning in general tourist attractions. Thanks a lot to you for your hard work and sharing this amazing video! 👍🥰🙏
Thank you so much!! We are so happy to hear that you have enjoyed the video! Kind comments like yours definitely keep us going and motivated to keep creating! We would be stoked to work with TLC if they would ever let us!! hahaha. Hualien had so much beauty that we're so glad we could capture a little essence of!! The views were incredible, I am sure there are many more hidden spots to be discovered! :) Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, share extra information, and leave such a nice comment, it means a lot to us!
@@IfWeGoTo It is my honor, thanks to you too! You are right, there are more hidden spots in Hualien, I look forward to your coming back to discover! 👍🥰👌
Thanks very much for sharing the link to apply for permits for the Zhuilu trail otherwise I will totally missing it. I am visiting next month so I can't wait. I am watching all your videos and taking notes. you two are awesome, thanks again!!!👏
Ah this feels so nostalgic. I love Hualien. I've been there twice and I can't wait to be back again next year. Thank you for the beautiful video, guys.
Wow! Thank you SO much! This was an extremely kind and generous gift! You definitely did not have to do this, but we great lot appreciate it! Very happy you have enjoyed the video. Thank you again for watching and your kind gift! ❤️🤗
Taiwan deserves higher profile internationally. From my experiences, Taiwan is always confused with Thailand to a lot of foreigners. China is another factor making Taiwan less-mentioned around the globe. Taiwan has to boost itself more to the world. Taiwan is not only famous TSMC(microchips) and Boba milk tee. We have amazing landscape, 268 mountains over 3000 meter high, beautiful beaches, friendly people, affordable and delicious food and convenient transit. We need you to tell your audiences Taiwan is an underrated hidden gem.
Agreed!! I did not know Taiwan got mixed up with Thailand, but that makes sense I guess. Maybe Taiwan is less reliant on tourism so it does not get marketed as heavily in foreign markets, but it is definitely becoming more popular by word of mouth!!
Remembering Taroko 太魯閣goroge, all my early years memories rush back to me😢, l can’t help being nostalgia. I have left my home country Taiwan 50 years ago living in Florida.
Omg, this all looks SO gorgeous! I’d prob’ be hanging onto that rope just like Alan, high up on that trail. Amazing wildlife, AND they have Family Mart, too? 😊 Can’t wait to visit one day - sounds like there’s so much stunning nature & wildlife to be had!
It was an incredibly beautiful place to visit! And yes.. we we’re definitely hanging for dear life hahaha. I’m almost surprised they didn’t have those crab clips lol. Definitely recommend it!! Hope you guys make it out there soon!
going to hualien this thursday, I like east taiwan so much , it's just beautiful . and if you come to taiwan next time, highly recommend the "southern cross-island highway" (between taitung and tainan), a high mountain road, the scene is super beautiful
Your trip really reminded me of my trip with my wife just a few weeks ago. Temple >hike> night market. Everyday for three weeks. And we never got sick of it. Hope you two enjoyed Taiwan.
Coming back to New Jersey, where everything is just so quiet and you have to drive to get to anywhere… I really miss the Taiwan life. (I love NJ, just miss Taiwan) We did this one spot in Bishanyan and they have this temple on top of the mountain. It was a well kept up temple too which we were surprised. And you get a view of taipei on top.
Ohh yes, we definitely understand that! It is really hard to go back to a car-centric place when you have lived without them!! Do you have any recommendations for NJ? We actually may be visiting that area soon! Oh that sounds lovely, I dont think we made it to that area!!
@@IfWeGoTo in NJ you can swing by Princeton Main Street. It’s pretty nice there. You can go to Wildwood or Cape May if you are heading towards south jersey. Other than that, we are known as the state next to NY. Haha
Haha 17:53 is a really nice edit. The singing fits perfectly with the background music. This kind of stuff sets you channel apart. Thanks for another great episode.
Coffin Toast originates from Tainan. When it was first invented back in the 40s, the stuffing mainly consisted of chicken liver. In the 90s, chowder was introduced as a filling, which significantly boosted its popularity. As a result, the fillings nowadays predominantly feature a chowder base.
Woww that will be so much fun! So excited for you!! Also we are SO happy to hear that you have found them helpful!! If you ever need tips or anything, don't hesitate to reach out! :D
@@IfWeGoTo yes, im hyped and ready to go. Just one question. I know you kind of made taipei as a base of sorts to film a bunch of videos but realistically, how many days would you set aside for a holiday stay with daytrips included? I plan to explore the island but staying in Taipei the longest. Is a week too long for Taipei?
It will come before you know it!! How long is your overall trip? I felt like going to places like Yangmingshan, Beitou, and Juifen were very easy from Taipei's city center. I think Tainan is do-able from Taipei as well. A week sounds like a good period of time if you want to see Taipei pretty well with a couple of day trips, but I think you could easily do Taipei's major highlights in 2-4 days depending on how quick you want to move. Hualien is definitely worth a couple of days, Taroko takes a little while to get out to! What other cities are you planning on visiting? I think most, like Taipei, you could see the major highlights in a couple of days! The cities are a lot smaller than say like... Tokyo or something!
@@IfWeGoTo thanks for the replies! Tomewise my plan feels feasible. Its going to be a 2 week trip so I can do it visa free. Basically the plan for now is day 1 is an arrival day just to get supplies and my bearings and dinner in a night market. Then about 7 days at least to go around the island. I plan to overnight in jiufen and have 2 days in hualien before a long train ride to Kaohsiung (2-3 days). Then Tainan and Taichung, finally back to Taipei. I plan to stay longer in taipei in the end so some friends can fly in for a few days. I just want to make sure that i have enough time that i dont short change taipei if i suddenly extend my stay somewhere. Enjoy the rest of your travels! Thanks again for the vids!
I love that you guys are having so much fun. In Hualien you have to try their smoked geese meat. It's usually served chilled/room temp and super delicious. The stinky tofu fries, are 100x less stinky so you guys might be able to tolerate it. Cant wait for your next video.
Great adventure! Hualien/Taroko is one of the most beautiful spots in all of Taiwan next to Chingjing Farm in Nantou, Alishan, & Sun Moon Lake. Thanks for sharing my beloved adoptive country!
I watched your video half six months ago. You're so fortunate to have been to Taroko National Park then. Now we Taiwanese are so sad that Taroko is almost gone just because of 403 Hualien Earthquake on Taiwan. Shakadan Trail was also total gone.
We are extremely fortunate to have seen it prior to the earthquake - almost a year to the day (it took a long time to edit these videos). I am very sad for the Taiwanese that Taroko was so heavily damaged - it was such a beautiful and special place that was made so accessible. It's terrible that the Shakadong trail was basically wiped away and even more sad that people were on it when the quake struck. :( Hopefully the park will be able to be rebuilt and enjoyed again in the future.
Through your lenses, it's like cozy and comfortable trips wandering around natural beauty lands spreading out Hualien. So many hidden fantastic gems and places need to be discovered, that will motivate happiness while traveling, and a strong driving force will be infused to support next trip to another destination.
Ahh thank you so much! We're so happy to hear you fine the videos cozy and relaxing - that is exactly what we're going for! Hualien is definitely one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited! Being able to find places like this is definitely one of the main reasons we travel, like you pointed out! Thank you again for watching and taking the time to comment!
When I was 20 years old, I served in the Army Infantry near Qixingtan. Every morning, I would run and weight training on the beach. Although it was very hard, I soon forgot to be tired on the beautiful beach. Although I am from Taipei, because I have been in Hualien for two years, I completely fell in love with everything there. Note: Qixingtan got its name because the shape of the coast looks like the Big Dipper.
Thank you for sharing your story! ❤️ That training sounds like a challenge, but the beaches in Hualien are just stunning! Are you back in Taipei now or did you stay in Hualien?? And thanks for sharing that fun fact!! We had no idea!! Now I need to look at the satellite Image! 😆
@@IfWeGoToI have always lived in Taipei and only served as a soldier in Hualien for two years. It has been more than 30 years since I left Hualien in 1992, but the best and most painful memories of my life are in these short two years. But when I get old and can no longer work, I should move to the Hualien countryside for the rest of my life😂Because the air is fresh, the mountains and rivers are beautiful, and the environment is leisurely, it is very suitable for retirement.
Oh wow!! I see. I am sorry you have bad memories made there too. I hope the nature in Hualien helped to soothe some of that. I could only imagine how beautiful it must have been 30 years ago! That sounds like a very good idea, Hualien seems like an amazing place to retire and enjoy!!
@@ellbo2 they are so good right?! From what I have been told, it sounds like the city of Hualien is really good. They were prepared and damage was minimal. Taroko Gorge (to my knowledge) is still closed for repair and because of the risk of landslides. I think it may reopen sometime next year?
The idea of coffin toast is originally from Tainan, the city which is famous for food. The one you got was a creative version with different stuffing. If you guys visit Tainan oneday, make sure to have more. 😉
@@IfWeGoToActually it was created one hundred year ago in the hotel of Tainan train station during Japanese rule. There was a western style restraint inside the hotel. The end of the day when the restaurant was about to close, the employees could have the food home left from that day. Since the toast was a bit dry and hard , Someone deep-fired the toast and ate it with the corn soup. People found it very delicious to eat in this way. Since then, it became a signature dish of Tainan and considered as a classic Taiwanese dish.
love the scenery in this video. thanks for the tip about securing a hiking permit online beforehand, these are the tips that are so helpful because i certainly would be overwhelmed trying to plan a trip to the more rural parts of any country. I hope one day i'll get to see hualien. cheers
Ahh thank you! So happy you enjoyed it and found the tips useful! That seriously means a lot to us - it’s why we started making videos!! I hope you make it there. It is incredibly beautiful!! If you ever need any tips or help planning, definitely don’t hesitate to reach out!! 🤗
Love your videos! The coffin toast is a Tainan thing I think. The original version has a white sauce with chicken in it, sorta like an alternate version of chicken pop pie.
You are correct!! Everyone said it originated in Tainan, not Hualien! Either way is is delicious! I am surprised it is not found in more countries yet!!
Nothing is more savory than tasting the bamboo tube rice. You guys hit all the high notes as far as must-see spots in Hualien. Please try Farglory Hotel next time if budget allowed. It is with romantic Victorian gorgeousness and richness, blending the tranquility of the Pacific coast. You would enjoy the spectacular view while swimming in the outdoor pool and convince that life can’t get any better than this.
It was very delicious! Made rice so you could happily eat it on its own! Hualien is very beautiful too! Next time we will see if we can make that work, that sounds like it would be really nice! Thank you for sharing!!
I'm going to Bangkok next month, not sure if I'm going to like the hustle and bustle of that city... definitely going to Hualien when I get back to enjoy the precious peacefulness and quietness (even though I'm from Taipei xD)
On the "Rice-N-Bamboo", I think people don't normally just order that alone. They usually have the rice with something else, or you would just have a huge carb load!
do you by any chance have a link to the airbnb? it looks so good and I would love to enjoy the bikes that come with it when I come to hualien this month :)
Hi there! Yes, I do! It is: www.airbnb.com/rooms/16965887?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=09f3e023-e1d5-4698-a82a-43a350dd008d Hope that helps! Happy travels! :D
Gosh! This place is super beautiful! I believe Taroko Gorge is well known for its marble? My contractor told me some years ago that the floor tile in the bathrooms are marbles with grey veining were from Taiwan Taroko Gorge. Knowing now that it is such a beautiful place with good food and entertainment, perhaps the community should preserve its natural resources to protect the environment. Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful and happy travel experience.
Taroko Gorge is hands down one of the prettiest places on earth! I did not know about the marble though!! Absolutely, Hualien is a treasure, we hope it is protected to that people can continue to come and enjoy it for years to come! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! :D
I think you two would've loved the old hualien. It's definitely a bit more modern now but when I grew up there it was as country-side as it coudl be lol. But I did grow up there and I have great and fond memories of the mountains, the beach, the fields etc.
scallion pancake - yeah I can't eat egg often, and last time in Taiwan I got COVID (probably on the plane flight) and in isolation with my 'worst sore throat ever' the only food I could taste was scallion pancake with bacon - I just loved that as my saving grace. A trick for eating xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) with very hot soup inside is to put them in a spoon so when it breaks and the hot soup comes, rather than burning your mouth it just collects in the spoon when you can swallow it as a lower temperature. Family Mart ice cream ? Dunno - I think that is my least favourite of the similar looking konbini cones - I think I prefer 7-Eleven or Lawson for hard chewy ice cream - I ate a lot of them up to last week in Tokyo heat wave.
Oh no!! So sorry you got sick that sucks. I'm glad the scallion pancake came through though!! Thank you for the tips on the XLB!! Oh gosh, we LOVED the familymart ice cream - specifically the milk and matcha cones. Everything else was good, but not like that combo! I didnt see ice cream at 7-11 and Taiwan does not have Lawson that I know of. Next time were in Japan we'll have to look out for them! Do you know if familymart in Japan has the ice cream? We didn't see it there!
Coffin bread, also known as coffin lid or coffin board (Taiwanese Hokkien: koaⁿ-chhâ-pang 棺柴枋, Chinese: 棺材板; pinyin: guāncaibǎn),is a Taiwanese bread bowl which originated in Tainan.

That is a great idea! Taking some time off to experience life is important! Those are also great countries to enjoy!! I think you will have a fantastic trip!
I think they are planning to open a ferry line between Hualien and Japanese Yonaguni island. And Yilan to Yonaguni. But, I wonder if that is going to also open to foreign travelers or not.
Love your vlog!! Something I get to remember my trip to Hualien by! :) Smoking while driving violates the regulations here. That driver is simply a j***. Did you report him to the authorities?
Thank you!! So awesome to hear it helps bring back some good memories!! Yeah, I dont think he was supposed to be! We don't want him in any trouble, but we do hope he stops for future visitors!
@@IfWeGoTo called 無糖米漿 Mijiang is a Taiwanese beverage staple most commonly comprised of toasted rice and peanuts blended together and then boiled into a thick, comforting horchata-like beverage served hot or cold. You can have them mixed into with glutinous rice balls or fried "cruellers" on the side. It is usually sweetened with brown sugar. The best ones to be found are in the south.. the bigger cities seem to be "healthier" thus harder to find lol
The bamboo steamed rice is meant to be eaten with something else. It's basically like rice in a meal. The bamboo steamed rice should also have millet mixed in.
I am honestly not sure why we did not make it there. We had a LOT happening right around the time this was filmed (a sick relative, plan cancellations, and other changes) so I think we just.. did not get to research as much as we usually did!) Just means we have something awesome to see on our next visit though! :D
Hi, this is a great video. I have 3 questions: What time did you start Zhuilu Old Trail? Where do you suggest to book the bus? and Were all these places in one day? Thanks a lot :D
Hi!! Thank you very much! So glad you enjoyed it!!! To answer your questions: 1.We started pretty early, I think you have to be on the trail by 10am or so. You have to get a permit beforehand, so it will say on that! 2. I would go to the bus station before your hiking date for this trail, or just show up very very early. It's worth it! 3. They were not! This was filmed over a period of a couple of weeks! I would give yourself 3-5 days if you want to cover everything in the video, depending on how many you see a day and how long you spend there!! Hope that helps!!
It was definitely a bit nerve wracking!! We're fairly experienced hikers and have done some extremely dangerous (and probably stupid lol) trails in the past, so having something that well maintained helped ease the mind, but... it was very very high up lol
I’m a Hualien local. I once tripped over a rock and broke my big toe (I was walking in bare foot) in Shakadang trail and it took 2 months to recover.😭 I never went to Shakadang since then. To anybody who came across my comment if you want to walk along the creeks, keep your shoes on! I like it when you said Xie-Xie (thank you) I once read a joke about an American tourist in Taiwan getting confused by the word because everyone around him was saying Shit-shit (thank you)!😂 The weirdest part is that the word for “that” in Chinese(那個) sounds exactly like the N-word.😳 So you see a lot of Chinese speakers pointing at things and people, saying “n****,n****,n****!” at the same time.😅 About the “sand flies” in Hualien… they’re called “small black mosquitos” in Taiwan because they just love stealing blood from people especially the non-locals😉 And then you count the amount of blood stolen by counting the black dots on your hands and legs.🤣Hualien is like a home base for them in Taiwan. According to taxonomy they belong to a different class from mosquitoes. When I moved here from Taipei 4y ago, those little guys really had my skin itching very badly but over the years I have become immune to them and the bites don’t irritate me a tiny bit now.😌 peace. I hope you enjoy your stay in Hualien. I’ve been to many countries and Hualien isn’t particularly “outstandingly” beautiful or “magnificent” compared to many places on Earth. But if you are just looking for a place to relax, Hualien is the place. (Personally I like Philippines/Indonesia more tbh🤫this is coming from a Taiwanese person
Oh no!! That sounds awful!! Definitely a good reminder to have good footwear. I have never heard that joke, but it is pretty funny! Oh yeah, we have heard about that... Definitely some words in other languages sound similar and have a VERY different meaning!! The sand flies are awful! I hate those thing. In the USA I believe they call them no-see-ums.. and I know some other english speaking countries call them midges. Wow, that's crazy! We thought Hualien was stunning - definitely on par with some of the beautiful places we've been, but it is more like.. mountains. I think the Philippines and Indonesia have more like.. beautiful ocean landscapes!
You do not *have* to and I’m not exactly sure how to go about reserving a seat (or if you can in fact, reserve them in advance), but do think you should either reserve them if possible or show up super early to get in line for tickets to ensure you get one to make it to the trail in time. At least when we went, it was extremely busy and we couldn’t get on the bus to make our time slot for the trail! That’s why we took a taxi (which was completely a reasonable price in my opinion). If it’s less busy it may not be a problem at all though.
Actually we would like to have more marketing or eco arrangements or any kind of suggestions from people to let us do it more and better for tourist to come over traveling in Taiwan.

Very happy you have enjoyed the video. Thank you again for watching and your kind gift! ❤️🤗
@@IfWeGoTo You are very welcome.
What I love the most is the friendly people (to tourists) and how safe it is
Before 1950s, Siam and Formosa were more commonly used names.
Only an idiot would confuse Taiwan and Thailand.
Remembering Taroko 太魯閣goroge, all my early years memories rush back to me😢, l can’t help being nostalgia. I have left my home country Taiwan 50 years ago living in Florida.
Oh wow! I am glad the video could bring back some good memories!!

Oh that is awesome! Hope you have an amazing trip!
And that sounds awesome!! Thank you for your recommendation!
Your trip really reminded me of my trip with my wife just a few weeks ago. Temple >hike> night market. Everyday for three weeks. And we never got sick of it. Hope you two enjoyed Taiwan.
Wow that sounds lovely! What was your favorite hike you did??
We absolutely loved Taiwan!! 🇹🇼❤️
Coming back to New Jersey, where everything is just so quiet and you have to drive to get to anywhere… I really miss the Taiwan life. (I love NJ, just miss Taiwan)
We did this one spot in Bishanyan and they have this temple on top of the mountain.
Haha

Ahh thank you!!! his is interesting to learn!

Oh yes, we adored Hualien!! I did not know abut the geese meat.. next time we will have to look out for that!!

Hopefully the park will be able to be rebuilt and enjoyed again in the future.
Biked to liyu lake and the sceneries were breathtaking! Bike trail to Qixintan was beautiful too (loved your pronunciation ;P)
Absolutely agree!! Oh gosh, I don't even want to know how badly we butchered that pronunciation! hahaha

The idea of coffin toast is originally from Tainan, the city which is famous for food. The one you got was a creative version with different stuffing. If you guys visit Tainan oneday, make sure to have more. 😉
Next time we will need to look for it in Tainan!! We did not see the original version there, but I do not think we looked well!!
Since then, it became a signature dish of Tainan and considered as a classic Taiwanese dish.

scallion pancake - yeah I can't eat egg often, and last time in Taiwan I got COVID (probably on the plane flight) and in isolation with my 'worst sore throat ever' the only food I could taste was scallion pancake with bacon - I just loved that as my saving grace.
I like it when you said Xie-Xie (thank you) I once read a joke about an American tourist in Taiwan getting confused by the word because everyone around him was saying Shit-shit (thank you)!😂 The weirdest part is that the word for “that” in Chinese(那個) sounds exactly like the N-word.😳 So you see a lot of Chinese speakers pointing at things and people, saying “n****,n****,n****!” at the same time.😅
About the “sand flies” in Hualien… they’re called “small black mosquitos” in Taiwan because they just love stealing blood from people especially the non-locals😉 And then you count the amount of blood stolen by counting the black dots on your hands and legs.🤣Hualien is like a home base for them in Taiwan.

Oh no!! That sounds awful!! Definitely a good reminder to have good footwear.
I have never heard that joke, but it is pretty funny!

Wait a minute, there is a need to reserve a bus seat to get to zhuilu old trail?! I have never read that anywhere else online
The train you were on, you saw the name of the destination Fenglin, I go there all the time
Oh yeah!! It was such a beautiful train route!!
Have a nice trip♥️
Wow THANK YOU so much!! You definitely did not have to do this!! But we greatly appreciate your extra support!! :D
Hope you have a good trip in Taiwan♥️

棺材板土司是來自台南的小吃❤
公車司機在車上抽煙是禁止的
很糟糕😢
下次來一定要嚐嚐台南的棺材吐司!
Actually we would like to have more marketing or eco arrangements or any kind of suggestions from people to let us do it more and better for tourist to come over traveling in Taiwan.
We really thought Hualien was wonderful!! Cannot think of any reccomendations!
欢迎到台湾但需注意山区落石坍方有要小心尤其是在台风过后
感謝您就此警告我們!
Does the chocolate ice cream at the end remind you of something else?? xD
