Yeah mate! I haven't been for a while so the sand might have moved around a bit at the sandbags and it might be different now, I'll go have a look in the next few days maybe! Cheers and tight lines mate
Yes I saw your Facebook post mate! I haven't fished there for a while but hopefully you can find some fish there. Frozen prawns would probably do the trick on some Whiting, Bream and Dart if they are there
@@willkitching I was up around the mouth again today (4 Whiting, all under-sized again!) and once again, I forgot to check out this spot on the other side of the sand bags! Might go back again this week, such a nice spot!
@@conwaylewis2300 yes mate! I wonder if it has changed since I was last there. The sand movement there can make it shallower and deeper at different times. I’m actually heading up to Maroochydore for a couple of weeks (starting next week) so hopefully I’ll be able to have a crack at them too! 😁
Some of the best whiting fishing I've ever had was doing something unconventional ànd standing on a jetty almost casting to the beach at Fraser. Everyone walking.by told me.i was silly and wouldn't catch a thing, yet the haul in the Esky said otherwise
Good fun mate, I live across the road from the beach and fish skinny gutters like that when they are there, usually get flathead and bream, I went for a quick flick with the gulp 2" prawn last week and second cast got a 39cm bream it nearly smoked me on the 6lb,was awesome fun
jonnywaselectric That sounds perfect! Always good to have a cool spot like that close to home. 39cm is an absolute donkey mate, and on 6lb ?! Would have been awesome fun! The fish in the surf seem to go even harder than estuary fish most of the time too, these whiting went like the absolute clappers! Thanks again for the comment mate I appreciate it!
Hi will, that little camper you were in, is that a JayCo Hawk or Eagle ? or am i on the wrong track altogether ? I am planning on getting a "Hawk". they look like the perfect trailer for that sort of holiday.
Hi Graham sorry for the late reply! Ours is a Jayco Swan, but they're all the same sort of thing. Very good for little trips and holidays like this. Good double beds at each end too !
Hey Mistajace, the point of the video was to show the awesome types of places you can find Whiting. In a place nobody would think to fish, we happened to see some Whiting and caught them. If you want me to run you through the rigs and bait I can do that???
Geez mate thanks heaps for the kind words, same goes for you! I don't know about the 1 million subs but I can always dream, and do everything possible to try and get there! It's a goal of mine for sure. Definitely stay in touch mate, I'll be following your channel for sure!
Nice work boys, nothing better than rubbing it in to a people who no it all, same thing with me at the sunny coast, some dude said you won’t catch fish on that gear, 10lb line 1-3kg stick, nek minute 3kg trevally, rub that on ya balls mate, I said to him.
Good work chaps 👍🏻
Thanks heaps mate! Tight lines

Nice job mate, here in wa it’s like that except it takes like 2 secs to lose ur bait cause there all like 10cm.
