Ha Long Bay was absolutely stunning and had a beautiful mystique. Also the boat ride to Ha Long Bay was way more pleasant 😅 But Phi Phi Islands has gorgeous beaches and blue water. The temperature of the water was much nicer in Thailand in the winter months.

Right after the New Year's in January. It was interesting realizing how long Vietnam is and that while you will be warm in Ho Chi Minh in the winter, temperature drops a decent amount by the time you get up to Hanoi.
