In all seriousness, you should experiment with this more. People put rivets on cymbals and drape metal beads across them, to alter their sound. Try filling the drum with grains of uncooked rice. Or maybe popcorn. Or maybe live bees. Slaughter your enemies and fill it with their tears. Get creative.
When I was really young and before I had my first drumset I used unpopped kernels in an empty coffee can for a snare, complete empty one for a rack tom and ice cream bucket for a floor ton/kick. And my mom's pan lids for cymbals, they still have the battle scars to prove it!
For those who haven't figured it out, a snare with enough water will act like a snare drum with the snare wires down. This is because the water absorbs the vibration of the lower diaphragm and therefore the snare wires won't hit the bottom diaphragm as hard. Too much water, though, is like what he said, a practice pad, because the top diaphragm will be bouncy like a water balloon.
