Check out how Greiner&Kilmer make their bubinga snare shells, you could definitely build one that style! Still Killin the game bro! Videos are only getting better and better!
Ikr right this thing insane! And you know what really pisses me off, there are youtubers that have been making content for only like a year reacting to tik toks and have 10x more subscribers then him. Tell me why tf the more talented the less attention and less talented the more attention
As a fellow woodworker and drummer, I am so impressed with the detail you went to build this. It’s amazing how great a project (in any field) can be for helping force you to address skills you don’t have. I’ve never thread metal dowels, and a few other things you did, but damn I’d love to tackle it now. Nice work.
It was an awesome learning experience. Great way to push you to do things you’ve never done. That’s why I love building things! Something so satisfying about the process.
@@BrandonScottDrums I think it's like music composition and production. The best part is seeing the results of what you created, knowing it was you who created it.
Damn son, as a trained woodworker who has quit the job because of his passion for drumming I'd say: Best combo of these two crafts I've ever seen! Unbelievably detailed, precise and paasionate woodworking right there! Love the looks, love the idea, love you!
normal youtubers: talk for hours and never builds drummer youtubers: talks only when necessary, makes an amazing pedal and builds TO THE BEAT OF THE SONG-- I LOVE YOU MAN
This is so sick! This is exactly how I get really impressed by some RUclipsrs: the filming is perfect, the editing is amazing, the project is great, the result is insane. I mean, the amount of skills needed to do that is absolutely mind blowing…
Dude, there is so much to say about this. The attention to detail for everything was so sick. The heel plate looks amazing, the fact you finished the grip the same way you would a skateboard, the accuracy of all the parts, and the editing. It's almost sickening how much work you put in to this and it's not hit the algorithm yet. Criminally under-exposed content!
The amount of work you put into your videos is insane… this might be one of my favorite RUclips videos I’ve ever watched. Wow. You deserve 100x more views at least
Yo my dude just said f-it! I'm building a dw 9000 out of scrap. I wouldn't even know where to begin on something like that. The fact that your not a master carpenter either! That's just straight talent. Plus that pedal looks way cooler than any pedal I've seen. Great work. Great send! 😱🧐🥁🪵🪚
You're such an inspiration! Been following you since the mikeslessons drum camp days and its insane to see how far you've come. Appreciate all the effort that goes into making one of these videos!
ok - something I don't understand, as a non-skater: how come people make pretty designs on the top of the board if skaters are just going to cover it up with grip tape?
Incredibly inspiring stuff right here man. Been subscribed since the JP Bouvet days and you’ve always been a huge inspiration to me. Never change bro 💯
I started watching your videos when you made that custom bass drum with that amazing wrap job and watching this one really brought a smile to my face, outstanding sir
Dude this was the coolest video I’ve seen in the longest time. Needs millions of views - how does it not already have that. You have amazing attention to detail
dude... this was absolutely mind blowing! The top notch craftsmanship you showed here was next level!!! I was already impressed early in the vid...but the absolute INSANE amount of detail you put into the Heel Plate is what got me...you literally sanded out all the bumps and everything so perfectly it looks like a legit casted or molded piece! Beyond Impressed my guy!!!
Very cool! The editing skills continue to blow me away -- let alone that you actually made a functioning kick drum pedal from a skateboard deck. That's pretty cool!
Hey Brandon nice work. I also love drums and skateboarding. Been doing both three decades and going. I'm not so much a builder, but a refurbisher. I like to take old drums and clean them up, refinish them, and maybe upgrade the hardware. Then sale the drum/drums.
holy cow!! This pedal looks so cool! And I was actually quite surprised that it works so well, I would rather expect it to be just beautiful, but it also allows you to play. You did a really good job.
Don't know how I missed this video til now, it didn't show up in my feed😕, but your content is a work of art! Keep up the great work. Always so nice to see well made stuff here🙂
the quality of these videos make me have pitty over other channels that have like 10 million subs and get nowhere near this guy's content creating skills
Officially. If Officially is not the perfect word than I'll say instantly became a fan. Bro what'ssssss. The Testing of the pedal is what was blowing my mind.
bro idk how I came across your video but I cannot believe how this video doesn't have millions of views!!! freaking amazing content!!! keep it up & soon you're gonna be the next "rdavidr"
Should’ve borrowed rdavidr’s skateboard wheel beater! 😂 Thanks for watching!! Maybe a snare drum next?? 🤔
Yeah!! A really good wood snare😎. That's my dream to build my own snare🥁.
Check out how Greiner&Kilmer make their bubinga snare shells, you could definitely build one that style! Still Killin the game bro! Videos are only getting better and better!
Great video. You've already built a snare and kick. Why not just finish off the full custom built kit with a rack and floor tom?
Yes please do a snare and then let me buy it off you 😍
I am actually in the process of 3d printing a snare drum to see what sounds I can get from that
Dude. I’m not sure what’s more impressive… The work it took to film and edit this whole thing or actually building the pedal. Just wow.
Haha thanks Jeff!!! It all took a fairly long time 😂
Ikr right this thing insane! And you know what really pisses me off, there are youtubers that have been making content for only like a year reacting to tik toks and have 10x more subscribers then him. Tell me why tf the more talented the less attention and less talented the more attention
Exactly! The amount of work, skill and dedication is insane! Respect!
Wish I could buy this pedal somewhere love the look
You need a matching beater now!
Hahaha I though about making one from a wheel but by the end I was over it. 🤣
Why does this video not already have a million views? View time for me: 100% Awesome stuff.
Whoa Felix!! I watch your videos every week! lol Absolutely LOVE your content. Thanks for watching!
@@BrandonScottDrums Haha! No way! It's an honor! Here we are, being fans of each other! Go figure! 😂
The fact that you put grip on the actual pedal board makes every skater so happy, such a killer touch! 🤘🏼
I had to. Even gripped it the same way you grip a deck 😂
It's also cut with the pattern of the tread on a pair of Vans skate shoes 👌
Just when I thought Brandon couldn't get more awesome....

Thanks so much! It was literally the PERFECT way to combine two things I love. Woodworking is so damn satisfying.
normal youtubers: talk for hours and never builds
drummer youtubers: talks only when necessary, makes an amazing pedal and builds TO THE BEAT OF THE SONG--
I LOVE YOU MAN
This is the best DIY drummer edition video I've ever seen. You deserve way more subs and love Brandon!
Keep pushing ! ❤
Thanks David!! 🙏🏼
This is so sick! This is exactly how I get really impressed by some RUclipsrs: the filming is perfect, the editing is amazing, the project is great, the result is insane. I mean, the amount of skills needed to do that is absolutely mind blowing…
Can't wait for Part 2: Making a Skateboard out of a drum pedal
Dude, there is so much to say about this. The attention to detail for everything was so sick. The heel plate looks amazing, the fact you finished the grip the same way you would a skateboard, the accuracy of all the parts, and the editing. It's almost sickening how much work you put in to this and it's not hit the algorithm yet. Criminally under-exposed content!
i appreciate that practically all of the building was in time with the music, awesome video!
I didn't notice it until you pointed it out... Well he be must have a great awareness of rhythm... I wonder how and why :)
The amount of work you put into your videos is insane… this might be one of my favorite RUclips videos I’ve ever watched. Wow. You deserve 100x more views at least
100% agree aha

Great work. Great send! 😱🧐🥁🪵🪚
The sanding being in time at 2:35 is either the best editing I've seen, or my new favorite coincidence
HOW does this not have more views?!?!?! This is 100% incredible.
Brandon you are a genius! That was incredible. Build a whole drum set with skateboards :)
Your are crazy my man! Firstly the pedal looks sick and secondly your commitment is just inspiring! Keep going brother.
You're such an inspiration! Been following you since the mikeslessons drum camp days and its insane to see how far you've come. Appreciate all the effort that goes into making one of these videos!
Thank you so much!! It takes a lot of time and effort but I love upload day more than anything. It’s VERY fulfilling. 🙏🏼
THE most underrated RUclips drummer out there. By far.
THAT is insane, bro! The friggin amount of detail is overwhelming.. I lost count of how many times I holy-f‘d during the video 😅
Haha Thanks Flo!! I impressed myself a few times along the way too 😂 Pedal turned out SICK!
@@BrandonScottDrums Not to mention that you didn't had any fancy ass tools, like this thing would make any cnc outright jealous 😅
That is some sick work. Crazy amount of talent, congrats Brandon
When your hand sanding and spray painting is in time with the music. Your attention to detail in your editing is incredible.
Incredible craftsmanship, editing, effort.
gawd your filmmaking is getting good. I'd watch this even if I weren't a drummer
ok - something I don't understand, as a non-skater: how come people make pretty designs on the top of the board if skaters are just going to cover it up with grip tape?
Thanks Nate! The Filming and Editing is more enjoyable to me than drumming at the moment... It's a problem lol
I honestly have no idea... Sometimes people cut the grip tape so you can see some of the design underneath.
Brandon has once again set the bar HIGH!!! Thanks bro for your Awesome videos!!
Bro you're a god! I hope your channel and all future endeavors bring you joy and pleasure!
By FAR the coolest woodworking project I have seen!
Wow !!!! This was actually pretty cool to see how you got this pedal built. Great job and thanks for sharing. 👍🏽👍🏽💯
Man what a cool project! Beautiful drum pedal, and quite a unique and creative idea. Awesome idea, thank you for sharing.
I just want to send you tons of love (from Independence, Oregon). Your channel is now officially my favorite in all of RUclips! Thank you!
The bloopers cracking me up. The grip tape vans pattern was so great. What the heck! Crazy edits too.
This is so crazy man))
