A beautiful Corolla Cross and the perfect size for two people on a big camping trip! I wish that there was a PHEV, but then the wait would be many years.
Great video, thanks. We are going with the Cross because it's a little smaller than the RAV 4. We don't plan on working too many more years and hope the Cross will last us until we can't drive anymore.
I bought the RAV4 Premium Hybrid XLE and was disappointed that parking sensors do not come as standard equipment. My RAV4 was on the lot, no added mark up or dealer installed accessories. Paid MSRP and got Toyota's 500.00 military veterans discount. Dealer also gave me a cargo net at no charge. We looked at the Corolla Cross, very nice sub compact SUV, but we opted for the RAV4.
I sometimes have trouble telling difference w/RAV vs Cross. I'd like to know price difference between hybrids/AWD, does it come in Cross? Looks beautiful but Toyota needs to put out XSE Cross! I saw a red RAV "nite shade" today & was gorgeous!
The XLE and the hybrid's XSE are about 99% the same on the interior, which is fine by me. I'm hoping to get one of them (hybrid preferred) but for now, I just want access to one to test drive.
A simple question. Canada used to use the Imperial gallon before switching over to the metric system. When you quote MPG is that US or Imperial gallons? I’m probably the only one that’s old enough here to even ask that question. Thank you so much Marcello.
@@henryhonda8408 You are awesome Henry! We learned the Metric system in 8th grade, but I never thought about gallons from the British system. It seemed that gasoline was really expensive in Canada, but I just thought that it was because of the exchange rate.
Cross is to small. We picked up a unicorn, the RAV4 XLE Premium, with Weather package about 2 weeks ago, and didn’t pay the proposed $2k market value adjustment.
It's got the same engine as the Corolla. It is severely underpowered. I have one and as long as you stay level you're ok. Stopping on a hill...good luck. It can't get out of it's own way. Otherwise it works. If you want to win races, buy a sports car.
With a 36 litre tank this Corolla cross would be suitable for people that live in town or city and don't travel much, i reckon, otherwise your better off with the Rav 4 55 litre tank for travelling and cruising the miles in comfort and not feel boxed in, jmho :)
Correction. For the 2023 model, the 2 wheel drive has a 47 liter tank and the AWD has a 50 liter tank and the Hybrid has a 40 liter tank. I'm still waiting for my XLE AWD Cross to come in with a 50 liter tank.
Waiting for my awd xle hybrid in few weeks. The moment I've heard there is acorolla cross I went on with absolutely no doubt at all. The Rav is too bulky for my needs
yess its better, because it has way bigger interio space for passenger, im 193cm tall and i cannot fit in rav4 as front passenger no way head is hitting ceilings... here is no problem thank you toyota for understanding that world is not japanese that is 165cm tall

Looking at the Cross because the RAV4 won't fit inside my garage!!

lol, nice that you have one to review. I ordered mine (exact trim in black) in Nov of 2022 still waiting........
Na can’t be right I order week ago it’s coming in 3 weeks already from 50 day delivery at first
I love my Blue one! The Rav is too big and a little higher. I’m 5.1 so this cross is perfect.. as soon as i san on it. I knew that would be my car
Yeah this is the one my wife wants
I love my RAV4 but could consider a Corolla Cross in the future

There is a Cross XSE. Info available on website 😎

Great video, as always
Can you review the corolla cross LE. You already reviewed the L and the XLE VERSIONS
The US buyer got cheated out of the heated steering wheel.
AND a spare tire on the hybrids...
The Rav 4 is way better. The RAV4 has way more power and room plus style
but more expensive
I hate the way the RAV4 looks
@@benk3654it’s not that I hate how it looks (not one of my favorites either) but everyone has one and it’s getting sickening seeing them on the road
Duh! It's a bigger SUV so of course, a 2.5 engine produces more HP than a 2.0 one...
How much is the fuel consumption difference between the two ?

If they're quoting mpg in Canada it's always Imperial unless they specifically mention US gallon. I'm an old fart also.

Is the wait still a year for the Hybrid?
Like the l version keys can’t be stole easy plus hubcap no one wanna steal plus the black accents look better than that old looking chrome lol
I love corolla cross but there is only black interior on hybrid which is not fair to the customer on that price.

The RAV4 has a better transmission.
Only comes with AWD, which is unnecessary for most people.
Not true. Available in FWD but Toyota sends them to warmer regions
50-60% of Americans (if that's where you are) live in cold, snowy areas where AWD comes in very handy.
Dumb comparison. 🙈
