The poor performances have nothing to do with the manager and are primarily down to the players who can’t do the basics of the game: running, hold the ball, pass and receive in tight spaces. Casemiro was shocking today.

I agree with every word you said. It was a dreadful game. I sat watching it with my old mum. She’s 76. She’s been watching united since she was 14. She saw em all live best law charlton etc. she thinks we’re dreadful these days. She’s right. I turned to her at one point and said neither of these teams looks like a premiership team. @@Align500pro no true united fan minds Losing to a better team. We never have. But wen your served up the same old drivel, game after game, season after season, after a decade of failure on and off the pitch we get fed up. Man United are about passion, heart, skill, excitement, speed. Watching this current lot is hard because they have none of those qualities. We were battered yesterday by an Everton team struggling at the bottom of the league. They had 23 shots on our goal. If they had a decent striker we’d have been beat. Barring a couple of sloppy pieces of defending that gave us two penalties we did nothing. They had over 300 forward passes to our 115. It’s every week no matter who we play, we are getting outplayed. None can watch that and tell me these players are giving 100%. I tell you one thing for nowt if we don’t pull out socks up next weekend we’ll be out the cup and the score will be embarrassing.
The main take aways are: 1. We played poorly but ground out a lucky result. 2. Garnacho was the only spark of life going forward, thank goodness he was there. 3. Never mind scoring a penalty, Rashford is a waste of space and it’s like playing every game with 10 men. 4. Keeper settling in. 5. Centre half’s kept us in the game. 6.We are going to be slaughtered by Liverpool if we play like that.
That's a pretty perfect synopsis of the game.

Hand on heart, I’ve got to say this! Thank god Tony has a platform to say it how it is! He’s fair, he’s honest, he says it how it is! It’s not right what’s going on, this channel is the only one that is willing to say what they think. Maximum respect to you all! The worrying for me is this idea that, we can’t have a style of play. I hear it’s because we have injuries. Bolton have a style of play, my kids under 14s have a style of play. Not sure what we are working on between games.
So you don’t see us trying to play out from the back, one touch passes through midfield, switches of play and overlapping full backs as well as being very strong in transitions which we have always been. What was our style of play under Fergie other than domination games cos we have some amazing midfielders and giving the ball to our forwards to do the business and again being lethal on the counter. Different is we were wining back then so it wasn’t a problem.
@@Tdoggg fergie was master on tactics,he knew how to beat lower teams and top teams,tenhag is simply a clown on tactics,ten hag plays same so we have been found out,also ten hag is at fault because he does not know what each players capbilty...we are doomed for coming years

We have a centre back at LB, two OAP’s at centre back, an 18 year old and McTominay in the middle, another teenager on the wing and no recognised striker. I don’t know what people actually expect, I’m more than happy with how we ground out that result, it was tough but again we should have scored 4 or 5 today.
It doesn’t matter who we have and who we have not. These players train together week in week out, they must get the basics right…..keep the ball, do not misplace passes, press etc…..they cnt do any of that

@@markdickens968spot on. You expect with that team that a player like Casemiro would show his quality but he wasn’t good today apart from some good tackles and break ups in play. His passing was one of the big problems today that didn’t help the team. That’s not on Ten Hag.

We're limping to the end of the season. Onana very good again, Evans a revelation and Garnacho looks like the only player capable of creating anything in the final third. 3 points job done but next weekend is do or die.
We got away with one today lads if it wasn't for garnacho winning them two pens it would of been nil nil it Evans how good he's been for us this season wouldn't think he's 36 I think he deserves anthor year contact onano seems of settled down now wats good but happy with the 3 points

This is what every utd fan would love to know, what happens on the training ground what does ETH say to those players is he constantly repeating himself what does he say in the dressing room before each game do they actually come out the tunnel with that hunger desire to win games, I dont have sky sports to watch the games but I'm not missing anything other then rashfords goal against City then we are made to look ridiculous yet again
If you accept reality and accept the players we have atm, you'll be good, your blood wont ran riot. You expect so much from players that are at best 6. Lower your expectations nd you'll be fine
Do that and we will be in obscurity ever more. We need high standards and for the team to match our standards. That's how the bitters, the gooners and the scousers have got to be the team's leading the pack these days.
Got the 3 points but by God Tony is spot on, it is worrying, hopefully we can do some business in the summer and ETH is given another season to properly implement his style with players willing to work.

In overall terms a 0 goal difference for Manchester United in march is a damning indictment, No intensity can`t score goals can`t keep teams out. A loss against Liverpool next week would cap a disastrous, regressive season for Ten Hag, But lets hope for the best..

Shit again. Garnacho got man of the match basically for running around like a headless one. We DO have a pattern of play..... Do some awful passes at the back and give it away constantly. I really wonder what the manager's instructions to the players are???

Garnacho was the best player again and won both penalties. If Fernandes wanted to give one of the spot kicks away, it should have been to Garnacho for all of his efforts and not to 'do nothing' Rashford
Why on earth does our manager keep picking mctominay when its obvious hes affecting casermios game ..amrabat is the obvious choice which will allow our midfield to flow and connect ...todays performance by mctominay surely tells us all it just aint working but if the manager perservers with him then on his head be it 🤷♂️
Once he starts playing Mctominay, he can’t stop. With him, United have no midfield whatsoever. The boy is terrible

Lot of folks talking about how many shots everton had but the fact is only 1 onana had to knock away and 15 or more were in the stands and nowhere near dangerous. All the rest leftover after the 1 and the sky shots onana caught and held very easily.
Also hearing alot of talk about lack of chances and casemiro making bad passes and that will always happen when mctominay is in midfield he doesnt show for the ball and he cant create chances it happens every time he starts a game.

Hi Tony good assessment of the Team nothing seems to be changing. Is adead Team ineos are in trouble with that Team. Watched the match between Crystal palace and Luton town ended in a draw,two coaches with tactical know how. Manutd should hire a good manager preferably Edward from Luton Town No hiring of high profile,my suggestion is bring in Edward and change the mentality of players

Other than the 2 pens we was pretty average again good job Everton forgot there shooting boots but got fed up how many times we keep giving the ball away and our passing was abysmal got to improve massively if we want any chance of top 4. Pool game worries me next week
I'm sorry but if you think that's the worst game for keeping the ball then you haven't been watching the matches properly. Our major fault all season is that we give the ball away too much. The worst offenders, for me, are the wingers: Garnacho, Rashford, Antony together with Bruno and Casemeiro. It's no wonder we don't create chances for Hojland and anybody else who gets into the box. You just know that no good balls will come into the box. For this I blame Ten Hag. It's got to be his tactics that is responsible for this. It's happened all year, week in week out, with no sign of improvement. it's this that will lose him his job if it carries on.
Was really not a fan of Bruno giving the penalty to rashford at 1-0. That’s something you do at 4-0 maybe. Second time this season he’s given rashford a pen to boost confidence clearly didn’t work the first time.
TBH When a huge part of this squad is out of Old Trafford, then the stands will give back again!
That team there is all ten hag as to work with, so I'm good, nothing special. I said this is how we will play till the end of the season till the rebuild begins 🎉🎉🎉

I get that vs teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and The Bitters we aren't good enough to go head to head with them, but every other team needs to be made to work to get their opportunities.
We cannot sit back and wait for a chance to counter, because by then we could be 2, 3 or even 4 goals down based on the opportunities we give up in every match.

The Old Trafford crowd was not up for it yet again. it's toxic and the new owners know it. I think that the players, deep down inside must absolutely hate playing at Old Trafford. It's up to the fans to support the team, and not the other way round.
Well said. What's happened? Match days used to be fun, win lose or draw! Whenever United needed it the Support used to roar! Most are all too quick to be negative now. Positivity from the stands, & chat, will help. Build up not tear down.
WE were very average today against a very poor team and i really fear for us next week against Liverpool. I agree with a lot of the comments what does this team do in training. We have no spark , enthusiasm or even good team work in attack. Time is running out for ETH

Ten Hag you just know what he's going to do. Half way through second half 2 banks of four,just stay in there play in our own half. We're nearer to our goal,yes so it's easier for the opposition then,paraphrasing so then can't get through us and score,but if we did this nearer to there goal they've less chance of scoring,anyway time for my boy Antony your on. Its a good job Garnacho knows how to attack,he won us the game. It's just aswell they are as bad as us,even though they had far more shots on or nearly on goal. For me Ten Hag hasn't a clue makes it up as he goes along,he'll be gone soon,Garnacho won us that game!
