Maxi Oyedeli should be Casemiro's backup immediately. He's 6ft tall, strong, pacey, most importantly he's very evasive in tight areas and press resistant like Mainoo, and is very technically gifted. He's ready.
Jack Fletcher looks unreal, he reminds me Busquet, very lanky but has everything to succeed in a holding midfield role. he's not ready yet, the energy levels required to play in the premier league are not there yet, in a year or 2 he'll be ready

Just for this alone is still an insult. He deserves another year because you can see the progressive improvements along with the injuries we’ve had. What he doing with the youth is more reasons why he is the right man for this club.
@@onpurpose1896 just for this alone by no means is an insult. He took the worst Man United premier league side in the history to win a title and finish 3rd in his first season. But more than that Youth development is the most important thing because it makes us forget about the horrible past 10 years and make us more optimistic about the days to come!

What does ten hag have to do with the Academy exactly? Credit goes to Cox, Murtaugh etc.
The only influence ten hag had on them now training with the first team was injuring most of the first team squad and creating room and a need for fresh meat to injure.

The real eye opener when looking at just how dominant and how amazing this Under 18 side has been this season is when you realise that many of the key and best players in it are playing a year above their age bracket. At the start of the season we had Amass, Munro, McAllister, the Fletcher twins, Baumann, Devaney, Fitzgerald, Scanlon, Missin, Biancheri, Lacey, Musa and Kaba all 16 years old playing against mostly 17 and 18 year olds. While Ibragimov was just 15 at the start of the season. All these lads will still qualify to play for the Under 18's next year. Although I'd expect many of them to be moved up to the under 21's as they will need greater competition to keep developing. Their record this season is is insane. 17 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss in 20 games with a goal difference of +47.
They haven't just won the league, they've demolished it despite most of them playing a year ahead of where they should be playing.
Historically every great period of dominance for Manchester United has come on the back of an outstanding crop of young players coming through the academy. It feels like we have that young crop right now, young players who'll be key players for the next great United side.

Eric ten Hag is the right manager to bring the young players through . Look what he did at Ajax .
Ajax even profited from that after ETH joined United they sold most of them with better price. ETH is a young team developer he is very good at that who knows this might bring us to a Ajax like formidable team.
In the pre season I love how we play when ten hag lined up most of them with the youngsters. They only lack experience but manage to play a better football than the senior team

@@aneeshmenon3379 It is not easy to straight play all 11 youth players before selling any seniors he just slowly integrating youth in the mix so it wont be obvious or creating dressing room unrest. He just make use of senior players as a training material for his youngsters which is important.
Give it 3-4 years with proper management, we'll be back on top

Got to be honest if the first team is not working hard enough id put a youth player on got nothing to lose at this point and might be a kick up the ass the first team need. It’s amazing how hard someone will work knowing they can be replaced
Why are people surprised? E10 is from Ajax. Ajax and Man Utd have a long rich history of doing this. He said he wanted to do it and he's doing it. No surprises. This is why Ineos will keep E10. They know long term they want to develop 80% of the squad to be home grown and produce a conveyor belt of talent.
They won’t keep him. The football isn’t good enough. Plenty of managers out there who have a clear playing style.

Casmiro played for Real Madrid who dominated the ball 99% of the time and Eriksen was made in the Ajax academy. He bought Antony, Martinez, Amrabat, Hojlund, Onana and Mount (400 million). All players he has played with or familiar with. Ten Hag had a clear system at Ajax because it was Ajax system, NOT his system. He was hiding behind it but he himself he doesn't know what he wants or what he is doing. He continues to play Bruno, Rashford and Garnacho all wasteful players and then Casmiro or Mainoo alone in midfield in a 3-1-6. Garbage tactics.

Ten Hag is the top coach in the world for believing in and developing youth. That is the future of any club. Add in some world winners at the top of their games to mentor these players and you have a world beating team on its way
Mainoo + Lacey is gonna give off vibes of Xavi + Iniesta. Amass is definitely the next immediate one to watch. Him and Garnacho playing together is gonna rip that left wing to shreds.

Lacey is way better than Garnacho. His ability on the ball is foden levels. Garnacho will be at Osasuna in 3 yrs. people will be mad at me saying it but we have to ask ourselves, is he as good as Rashford, Welbeck or Chris Eagles at his age? The answer is no. The standard to start in attack at his age is Giggs, Rooney, Ronaldo and at very least Nani. The days of “give him time, he’s young” are coming to an end. Kobbie Mainoo has proved that. Nobody’s saying give Mainoo time because he’s class already.

He took Ajax to CL semis with some great scalps along the way. He had a great win and score record with them, winning league and cup. He will do the same for United. I believe INEOS know this. I like how he stood up to the press after the Coventry win. He protects his players but calls them if they don’t show discipline.
The league is more competitive than during SAF years… however I can see Ten Hag being successful for many years. Including league and european medals.

GARNACHO is absolutely a good player
Preventing injuries is something cannot be done by one individual. Ideally, it needs to be managed by Ten Hag, people scheduling the pre-season and travelling to and from away games, the medical staff that studies each player's profile individually and the physios.
Yea those players have been dominating the U18's. SO HOPEFULL they come up to the senior team and get game time soon.
No point in getting too carried away just yet. No guarantee this will translate to first team success but hopefully so.

Bringing young players from the academy is good. We can play them in this weekend game and see what they are made of.
If you can get 1 player through your academy to the first team a season, you're doing very well. I mean not just making up the numbers but a useful/regular member of the first team.

Just giving them opportunities to train with the first team goes a long way for their development.
Besides experiencing the difference between youth football and senior football it also shows them that making it to the first team is a real possibility rather than a far away goal.
Ten Hags expertise and track record in regards in bringin youth players into the first team is probably his standout quality compared to other managers.

The one thing United have done well in the last few years is improve the youth side and conveyor belt of talented players with true potential and character. This is how United can also circumnavigate the financial problems the Glazers have put us in with ridiculous transfers, salaries and debt. Filling out the squad (and first team where deserved) with home-grown players who aren't there for a massive salary and actually want to play for the club (and are probably fans of the club), will be a massive step in the right direction. Where you save money on the squad overall can be invested, correctly, on strengthening the starting 11. But, it has to be deserved, and it looks like ten Hag is going about it the right way. I just hope he gets the time to see it develop.
If even some of these kids come into United Main team It could consist of 6 academy players in our first team.

I think its the best time for us to sign mckenna. Coach first with structure above him so he can just focus on players in front. Get youth in, write off a couple of seasons & build a title team from there

There are a lot of good prospects among the youth, but let's not get carried away too soon. Many of the names currently in the spotlight will likely be overtaken by some that are less talked about right now, like Kamason and Fitzgerald.
It's also worth noting that today is Education Day at the academy, and most of the players are either in school or engaged in schoolwork. It seems that the ones participating with the first team today are those who are free from school obligations.
