This vLog features myself and 3 other team members traveling from St. Thomas, VI to St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and enjoying the sites and sounds of "the BIG island"! On this trip I stayed at the Caravelle Hotel and Casino in Christiansted, ate at a couple local spots, travelled to Point Udall to catch there sunrise and hiked up to the Hams Bluff lighthouse located on the Northeastern end of the island, with local content creator "Kariel Granger"

Thanks for the Video ❤️ brought back memories. I stayed over there back in the late 70's. I worked in a little shop next to the Comanche hotel. There was also a little spot next to it called Cafe de Paris. Very nice. Would spend time over on the key. But I didn't stay long. Missed friends ,night life and beaches on STT. 💃🎵🎶🌴😂

I’ve always wondered why the lighthouse hasn’t been restored.
Yes, it would be nice to see it restored to it's original glory!
Because the government wants to focus on tourism…. Yet… not highlight and promote local tourist destinations… typical…

A brief history of Ham’s Bluff Lighthouse:
The lighthouse was designed and built by the Danish between 1913 and 1915, and was originally operated by lighthouse keeper A.L.F.L. Madsen. Constructed of cast iron on a concrete foundation, this cylindrical lighthouse originally was painted white with a black cupola. In 1917 the Danish West Indies were sold to the United States, at which point the U.S. Coast Guard took over operation of the lighthouse. Unfortunately, the lighthouse was deactivated in the mid-1990s and is now deteriorating.

Unfortunately not at this moment. The shirts currently ship from a location on the east or west coast depending which is closer to you mailing address. I hope to have the shirts available on each island by January next year!

Round 6 am this time of year, but around 6:30 during the winter months
