Saw a bunch of comments about the ad read, I'll state this for the sake of clarity - I used their mask for about a month before I took the deal, and still use it often, although I understand how some ppl might not believe this since I just did a sponsor by them, but that is the truth. I also saw that their amazon page has really good reviews, and had the product recommended to me a while back by a friend when I mentioned my sleeping problem. I saw the comment about their BBB page, so I looked into it - it has 4 complaints over a 3 year stretch, which is considered low generally - their BBB rating comes from them not responding to 2 out of these 4 costumer complaints. That said, this is something I should've looked into in advance, im sorry
good on you for saying that, it always pays to do more research. however; the masks come at an extremely high price point that you don't mention in the read, which makes it feel deceptive - especially if you got the product for free, which will alter your view of its value. intentionally or not, these are the sort of things that get skirted over on dodgy tiktok ads too. it just came across as irresponsible and lacking in clarity.
People are being too hard on you, manta sleep masks are 100% worth the money, i use mine every night and have never found a cheaper one that compares at all
Exploiting a market of mostly young women scared for their safety by selling them cheap self defense products that could possibly put them in more harm lands you a special place in hell. Like they're literally profiting from a real awfull reality, you have to be a special kind of dirtbag it makes me sick.
there's a mlm that does this too. not only do they "employ" women who will never make money selling their product, they then have those women target and suck money out of vulnerable women who are most likely either in a dangerous situation or know someone who is and sell to them with the full intention of making them join the downline and go bankrupt too

My sister was assaulted about 6 years ago and has become very paranoid about her safety. I always see her with these self defense things and feel terrible for both the scammy nature of it (the products suck) and the way she feels she has to protect herself 😓
Unfortunately, those are the only products we have access to unless they start making higher end self-defense products more readily available for people to just purchase I really don't see her having a better option- as somebody who was sexually assaulted I carry around a hello kitty pocket knife and pray to God that I'm safe because I have a giant metal water bottle as well like you use what you can, and if it breaks after she uses it, that means that at least she had something to defend herself with
I don't think this scam is OK but I don't think there's a better way to get self-defense weapons other than Amazon or another drop shipper unless you get them custom-made or go to an artillery shop which isn't as readily accessible and can be pricey
@@Atlasintokyo Don’t carry a knife for self defense, a knife is pretty much the worst thing you can choose for this purpose. If it isn’t an automatic loaded one, by the time you pull it form your pocket/bag, unfold it and set it in your hand, the guy has already seen what you were about to do, and you’lol end up the way my uncle did, having your knife ripped off from your hands and used against you, you’ll just make whoever was triying to assault to much angrier at you, and that’s probably the very last thing you want. And if you use an automatic knife like I did (meaning I can have it ready in less than a second) then you’re walking on highly illegal territory. I got arrested for just carrying it in my pocket, because its characteristics which make it a reasonable self defense weapon, make it a frighteningly efficient attacking weapon, if you carry one and get caught, you’re by default going to be considered as if you were about to murder someone, like how I ended up being labelled as « was about to, seeking to, or did commit a crime judging by the weapon(s) [I] was carrying » on my arrestation papers. Plus, unless you have very good training in knife combat, you’re just dead meat walking, a single wrong movement or if your grip is too weak, and you’re guaranteed your knife will be taken away, remember, you’re most likely not the first one they’d have seen, they probably have dozens of fights won even against similarly armed opponents forer probably the course of YEARS. And even if you do succeed, you’ll probably end up in jail if you cripple your aggressor for life or kill him on accident, yeah it sucks but we can’t change that. So instead use something that is meant to make your attacker unable to fight for a few seconds, so that you can flee, most people would recommend a high end pepper spray, I would recommend a tactical flashlight, you can blind the guy, hit him with it, and then run, and since it’s perfectly legal to carry around, you can have it always hanging to your belt for quick access (which is what I do), just avoid the really cheap ones, they’re not powerful enough to properly blind anyone, or they’ll break on impact, or the battery can fuck you up
1969 is the Unix Epoch. All computers using it count the seconds from that moment to synchronize their clocks. Sometimes when a date isn't given, certain sites misinterpret it as "date = 0" which means 0 seconds since the Unix Epoch (Dec 31 1969 or Jan 1 1970 depending on your timezone)
Yep, just got to that section of the video and was thinking that, I guess maybe deleted/suspended/unverified accounts rather than a regularly used active one?
This reminded me oft a talk by Kevlin Henney, where he points out that C's time() function actually returns -1 on failure. Which is the very last second of Dec 31, 1969. So we can get that year even without any timezones involved.
@@johnmulhall0 Yeah, the Unix epoch is 1/1/1970 00:00:00 UTC. But if you convert that into local time anywhere in the Western hemisphere (e.g. the USA) you get 1969.

Cutesy self defense items are pretty common because many people want theirs to be descreet. I personally keep on a cute Kirby lanyard with my keys and other normal cutesy keychains, plus a number of self-defense items that are designed to look innocuous and blend in with everything else. The lanyard makes them really easy for me to grab out of my bag at any moment, but because of how it all looks, most people would think I'm just reaching for my keys. Nothing else in this video is excusable.

@@The_real_stone I just searched it up, got my info wrong. At least in the state of New York (where I live) weapons are simply illegal, and can’t be argued for self defense. And by weapon… the term includes anything that isn’t your fist, although i forgot if phones are included as well
the self defense stuff is because most women sadly have to buy those types of things and some want their stuff to be cutesy/inconspicuous so it can just be on an easy to grab keychain should they ever be in danger and need it. these types of scams especially suck because even if u get the items they’re usually super cheap and do essentially nothing for u 😵💫
what's so bad about it is most those items are considered illegal in many places or would completely void a self-defense plea as they are clearly made for harm, nevermind the fact that many of these need actual training to be remotely useful. not only is it a scam based on value, its a scam based on usability and safety.
@@elingard Plus if you're in a state in the US where something like pepper spray is legal, you can get cute ones that will work at a grocery store. The pepper spray I got is hot pink and was $10 at a Target in Indiana.
@Volundur9567 Even that might be generous. I've seen lots of 'crystal' sellers on Amazon and Etsy that get complaints that their stuff is just glass. I would assume some of the crystal scooters are the same.
Another thing, even if these shops were selling properly durable pocket/utility knives for self defense, that in and of itself is highly dangerous. My dad told me a while ago when I started preparing to move to the city for college: “In a knife fight, one guy dies on the scene, and the other in the hospital.” Knives give a false sense of security when in reality it’s not at all ideal since fights nearly always end up horribly. Stick to the pepper spray and deter attackers instead of going to defend yourself with a knife, chances are that they’ll have one too and you’d be absolutely fucked ten times over Selling the idea that these knives could save your life to impressionable young people is not only dangerous, it’s highly irresponsible and you could easily be held liable. I don’t know how people could live with the knowledge they sold faulty defense items especially when it’s such a large concern TL;DR You don’t fuck around with knives if you don’t know what you’re doing!
My dad taught me something very similar. He told me that if you pull a knife on someone, you’re most likely to be disarmed and die from your own knife. He showed me how to hold my keys for punching instead. He did say that holding a folded pocket knife in your fist works as impromptu brass knuckles tho.

Used to be friends with a Lady who ran a knife shop. She also had knife self-defense classes and warned everyone not to assume the weapon itself will keep you safe - it can be snatched by an attacker, escalate the situation, and land you with a lawsuit from the one who attacked, if you leave a mark and they didn't. If you couldn't afford the class, she demonstrated techniques to startle someone long enough to run away. Basically, the whole concept of putting weapons in people's hands and telling them that's safety is wildly irresponsible and will get folks killed.
Congrats, you've fallen for sensationalized click bait!! :) Unregulated cosmetics can have a lot of random shit in them, they use cheap ingredients and chemicals that are not necessarily safe to use. This is because they are in it for PROFIT. But ask yourself what profit is to be gained by packaging poop? You realise people have to work with and package those materials, you really think the average producer is going to handle human feces in their products? To what end? It's not even a cheap material, your own poop is free but then you have a limited supply. You might find one outlier who gets a perverted kick from selling people poop but otherwise what benefit is there to using poop instead of a normal material? Especially when you consider most of these products are being made in countries where contact with poop is much more taboo than you can realize, with religious and societal repercussions to generations of family of someone who works with poop making them an inherently lower class, for example plumbers. You're being ridiculous. Fun fact but many products even in America, if tested, will have trace amounts of poop in them. Chemical testing can detect traces as small as a single worker washing their hands poorly. I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you read something like that but you might wanna chill cause going around all THERES POOP THERES POOP IN THE PRODUCTS looks really silly tbh...

"who would want to buy somethig cute that can kill you?" Fashionable self defense items are actually a big industry in other countries, particularly asia. Countries which have accepted that predators are a problem and that women dont get enough support so they need to protect themselves, unlike "1st world" english speaking countries which try to sweep this under the rug and act like theres somehing wrong with you if you buy pepper spray lol. These items are not meant to live at the bottom of your purse, they need to be easily accessible, which is unappealing to look at not to mention offputting to others, and worst of all dangerous. Sure you can hang a stun gun from your purse strap, but contrary to popular belief it wont actually stop an attacker from approaching you when they see it, it only helps them to know exactly where to grab to ensure you cant access your self defense item. Now im not saying those dumb shops are selling good items, they should be ashamed of themselves. But they are flourishing precisely BECAUSE there is a desire for this kind of item which is not being filled because america tends to view such a desire as women being paranoid and dangerous, rather than a valid need.

This is one of the issue with girlboss asthetic, ecourages dodgy practice because your a girlboss and being an aesthetic and aspiration for many it can lead them to do many morally dubious things. What the heck are you talking about? The self-defense "cutesy" stuff, that is clearly aimed at *women afraid of being assaulted*, or the bullshit nails? Please god let it be the nails
i’d say that’s less an issue with the “girlboss” aesthetic and more an issue with capitalism and the fact that in order to be successful you have to do dodgy things
the other dodgy thing about selling these as "self defence" items is that in a lot of places, having items on your person that are classed as weapons like pepper spray and knives means that you cannot claim self defence in a court and could face charges for injuring your attacker.
It's not, it's just good blackout sleep masks. I've been using their masks for like 4 years now (approximately), plural because 6 months ago I purchased a new one because the old one was getting quite bad in spite of washing it. It's honestly a good mask!

I am obsessed with these videos, especially the self defence ones, because they are so weird and so identical and there's so many accounts making them and yet they're all the same. Same horrible nails, same influencer sleeves, same plastic drawers, same thankyou tape, same everything. They all do the same things too, the rage bait things. Like eg at the start where the nail that scrapes along the boxes (or brightly coloured padded envelopes) now usually the nail falls off the finger. And 12000 comments are posted saying " WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE NAIL" ignoring the fact that no one is talking about anything else, and driving engagement up and up... They also do stuff like on an "all green order" "she says she will come to my house and punch me if I use any other colour" and then they put in a pink pompom and then lo and behold 120000 more comments. Or they leave the perfume bottle lid in the drawer. Oh my god. Then there's the so called mystery scoop element where they open the little balls. And yet every single order they assemble contains the exact same elements, three different knives disguised as combs and pens and keys. pepper spray, taser, alarm, whistle, bottle opener, perfume bottle, seat belt cutter, brass knuckles with cat ears, a stick to break windows with. There's never any repeats and they never leave any items out. The mystery balls are a LIE. also, the paper inside is always printed in COMIC SANS and no matter what account it is, they all carry products called "bling bling pepper spray" etc only they spell it BULLING BULLING. ALL of them. I guess that's just more rage bait and I guess it works on me
I watch a creator on tiktok who runs a small business for witchy and crystal girlies. She does mystery scoops, but she's so honest about it and shows the prices, which are fair for the products she sells. Not all mystery scoops are evil. Some are genuine and i love this creator
And they're faux or just less valuable crystals. When I do random mystery crystal packs, I inspect my inventory, place them in a huge bowl, mix 'em real good and close my eyes, fill up the pouch and put info cards about each crystal that exists in my inventory with picture identification. I also don't charge a huge amount. Where I live is kinda low income, do all my stuff caters to the spiritual needs of our local communities.

In terms of Sky Defense and the self defense market, there's something really sinister about taking advantage of women/people who are AFAB's fear of being assaulted by men to scam them out of their money. Many of us genuinely don't feel safe around men, and using that to sell us cheap items that won't even work when we need it is genuinely very scummy.
It's definitely extra scummy, although doesn't need to be so heavily gendered it's still just as scummy no matter the identity of the buyer/fearful person
@@drewpeacock9087While that’s true, the majority of these kinds of products are aimed towards AFAB people or those who present femme. It’s definitely gendered to a degree

There's another slightly worrying level as well: They sell these where its entirely illegal. I was morbidly curious and had to look to see if I would be allowed to purchase from one of these stores in the UK, where ALL the products other than like two, are illegal and there would have been zero problems if I was to go on to buy a package. Which brings a more worrying idea of younger people not being aware of these laws ordering something, getting the awful self defence products that also are likely not going to work as they're so ridiculously cheap, and getting in serious trouble, when you consider how young you can get a debit card now a days, and some of these shops do not seem to be age restricted/etc at all as well.
A couple months ago a girl in my college almost died trying to defend herself from an attacker with fake pepper spray, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I'm scamming people and putting them in danger like that.

The cutesy cat knuckle stabber is actually illegal in some states and the fact that there are minors buying these junk “defense” stuff is scary. I know one woman had been called out for charging insane amounts of money for cheap broken garbage. But then again if you are willing to pay extra to have your order packed on a live, maybe you should be scammed. What a waste of money. Sometimes these scammers will pack an online order with real, expensive items on their TikTok’s, but when it gets sent to the person, it’s different, cheaper items
tbh i think the people who buy the mystery ball crap never went to those gum ball machines as a kid where you put in the quarter, turn the crank, and recieve this little pod thing with a random trinket in it. at least the value of those little things were much closer to the value you paid than this stuff is.
From my understanding, the self defence items are targeted towards afab people who don’t feel safe walking in public. The tasers don’t work well (I’ve heard some people saying they’ve had to use them and they did NOT stop their attacker) the items are cheap and terrible , and it feels exploitative and gross
Not dropshipping if she's got the stock on her. Dropshipping isn't just "item made in china, that is bad" dropshipping is bad specifically because the person isn't holding the stock so can't verify it's quality, doesn't disclose that it's coming from further away so will take longer, and leaves the shipping to a third-party company. You can't just call anything you don't like "dropshipping" the word has a very specific meaning.

They all say 1969 because January 1st 1970 is the start of UNIX time, it's a date and time widely used in computers as a starting point, some programs run into errors when that's not set correctly or bugged and the time goes back to right before the start, 1969, so someone probably didn't configure their bot's time correctly.

But I carry a tactical baton when I’m out on my own on a hike or whatever (a reaction to having previously been attacked and a choice that just makes me feel like I have a bit more control/options if I’m attacked again). If I could have that tactical baton be cute aesthetically then I wouldn’t say no. But I’m not gonna pay pink tax on a practical item for the sake of it either.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that your sister gets the help she needs and is able to begin feeling safer again ❤❤
So instead use something that is meant to make your attacker unable to fight for a few seconds, so that you can flee, most people would recommend a high end pepper spray, I would recommend a tactical flashlight, you can blind the guy, hit him with it, and then run, and since it’s perfectly legal to carry around, you can have it always hanging to your belt for quick access (which is what I do), just avoid the really cheap ones, they’re not powerful enough to properly blind anyone, or they’ll break on impact, or the battery can fuck you up
@@Atlasintokyo The problem is making it more accessible for protection, means it's also more accessible for harm too.

@@johnmulhall0 Yeah, the Unix epoch is 1/1/1970 00:00:00 UTC. But if you convert that into local time anywhere in the Western hemisphere (e.g. the USA) you get 1969.

Another thing, even if these shops were selling properly durable pocket/utility knives for self defense, that in and of itself is highly dangerous. My dad told me a while ago when I started preparing to move to the city for college: “In a knife fight, one guy dies on the scene, and the other in the hospital.”
Knives give a false sense of security when in reality it’s not at all ideal since fights nearly always end up horribly. Stick to the pepper spray and deter attackers instead of going to defend yourself with a knife, chances are that they’ll have one too and you’d be absolutely fucked ten times over
Selling the idea that these knives could save your life to impressionable young people is not only dangerous, it’s highly irresponsible and you could easily be held liable. I don’t know how people could live with the knowledge they sold faulty defense items especially when it’s such a large concern
TL;DR You don’t fuck around with knives if you don’t know what you’re doing!

Unregulated cosmetics can have a lot of random shit in them, they use cheap ingredients and chemicals that are not necessarily safe to use.
It is
It's not, it's just good blackout sleep masks. I've been using their masks for like 4 years now (approximately), plural because 6 months ago I purchased a new one because the old one was getting quite bad in spite of washing it. It's honestly a good mask!
18:00 hey there delilah what's it like in michigan, i'm a thousand miles away but girl tonight you look like you need some dropshipped products, yes you do
wagwan delilah
Tell me why my brain is so anti-advertising omg I was zoned out and immediately when the ad read began I woke from my trance to skip it
I am obsessed with these videos, especially the self defence ones, because they are so weird and so identical and there's so many accounts making them and yet they're all the same.
Some are genuine and i love this creator
is her name cat or something? I have been trying to remember someone like that who I really liked they page for a while now!
self defense, makeup and crystals (which he didn't mention but are also abundant in this kind of tiktoks)
its vile how it targets women in particular
He did mention the crystals very briefly. He showed a couple clips of them arriving broken.
Where I live is kinda low income, do all my stuff caters to the spiritual needs of our local communities.
how would it be any less vile if it targeted men? also, notice how it's mostly women promoting these scams 🤔
the term "small business" became so popular that it became code for scam

"Why would you want cute things that harm people"
man privilege is real 🤣
Literally. I carry a keychain from a small business in the UK with a nice theme going on, because after what happened to Sarah Everard and realising that I was about to be getting into taxis with random men for my uni commute, it hit home that I needed to protect myself. It's cute enough that I can have it on my lap without it looking suspicious, and it also helps me to make sure my medication is with me wherever I go. If I don't feel the black pompom in my bag, I know that I need to go and find my keychain.
I legit have had the same hello kitty knife on my keychain for five years
ong, i carry a small sewing kit with me when i know im going to be walking home alone at night (im 16 so its usually just from my uncles house but i dont trust any of my neighbors) mostly because i like sewing whenever i can but also because it has a sharp pair of scissors in case of emergencies
I think the 'cute' part was the questioned part, not the defence part?
@@RubyCow8567Obviously, if you think about it you wouldn't want to have some tactical camo skinned pepper spray because that doesn't look discrete. That's the appeal of making it look cute.

Thank you so much for posting @ 3am 🙏🏾 I'm wide awake lol
In terms of Sky Defense and the self defense market, there's something really sinister about taking advantage of women/people who are AFAB's fear of being assaulted by men to scam them out of their money. Many of us genuinely don't feel safe around men, and using that to sell us cheap items that won't even work when we need it is genuinely very scummy.
i dislike you
It's definitely extra scummy, although doesn't need to be so heavily gendered it's still just as scummy no matter the identity of the buyer/fearful person
@@drewpeacock9087While that’s true, the majority of these kinds of products are aimed towards AFAB people or those who present femme. It’s definitely gendered to a degree
@@ghoultooth God please just say women, "afab people" is so fucking insulting
Using "AFABs" to talk about people treated as women and therefore ignoring that transfems (and, to lesser degree, transmascs that are treated as men) exist... Someone save us from this new era bioessentialism, please.
The items being illegal is probably why so many of them don't show up.
A couple months ago a girl in my college almost died trying to defend herself from an attacker with fake pepper spray, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing I'm scamming people and putting them in danger like that.
i don't think it's weird to want a cute thing that kills people... can't slay if you ain't cute
Yeah, are people even stopping to consider cats???? I’m sure if my cats knew how/would deign to lower themselves to feed themselves they’d get rid of me in an instant. Yet people love cats!
Slay has two meanings for a reason
1,100% profit, yet claiming it's 1/3rd off, this should just be automatic jailtime.
In certain countries it is

Thank you for the gopher shot. Please include more gopher shots, thank you.
so dangerous to give people 'self-defence' items that are useless for self defence....people will get hurt
Still not as weird as the oyster-shucking pearl scam. Always enjoy your detective work. So many commentary channels just show TikToks and be like "wow, thats weird!" and go no further
What's the oyster shucking scam 😭
@@raisinbrancerealofficial They put cheap brightly colored pearls into oysters, glue them shut and seal them in formaldehyde filled pouches. Then people will pay for the seller to shuck (open) them on live stream and they get the supposedly valuable pearl.
@@raisinbrancerealofficialI think it’s TikTok’s where they go up to oysters that they put some artificial pearls in and then gouge it out of the oysters to make it seem real

Edit: Please see my reply to Pinely's pinned comment for context - I did not mean any harm by this!
At this point in time it’s best to assume every single sponser is garbage and the RUclipsr doesn’t like their product anyways, it’s just the money. It sucks, but sponsors are the only thing keeping our favorite RUclipsrs (especially smaller ones) afloat so I just ignore them
Ahhh the irony 🙄
Although I must admit I do not buy things promoted by influencers, in fact I try not to buy things I don't need (especially crap) but, that said it's pretty hypocritical to talk about the terrible ratings of TicTok crap and then shill something just as crappy.

dropshipping is one thing but dropshipping poor quality "self defense" products to take advantage of ppls fears is CRAZY
This isn't drop-shipping. She's got the stock right there.
Bruh there was this time on TikTok where girls would show off their kitty claws or like cute pepper sprays or cute tasers and I’m all for women protecting themselves HOWEVER there were so many (there’s probably guys that still comment this) that would comment stuff like “this wouldn’t stop me” “that won’t do anything to me” and other nasty comments basically implying that they would and COULD harass a girl still even if they used that on them… and yk… i think they’re right. GET A BIGGER TASER, GET A BIGGER POCKET KNIFE, OR GET BEAR MACE INSTEAD. It’s disturbing that people even “joke” about that. I believe women should get heavy duty self defense weapons so that if men really think that way they can fuck around and find out ☺️
you sound kinda deranged lol. if you really believe that random men online saying stupid sh!t is representative of how all men are, i'd suggest talking a man in real life (judging by your comment it seems like you don't) and perhaps getting a therapist.
I think you need cardboard sunglasses
The cutesy cat knuckle stabber is actually illegal in some states and the fact that there are minors buying these junk “defense” stuff is scary. I know one woman had been called out for charging insane amounts of money for cheap broken garbage.
But then again if you are willing to pay extra to have your order packed on a live, maybe you should be scammed. What a waste of money. My daughter carries pepper spray, pepper spray bought directly from the police department

tbh i think the people who buy the mystery ball crap never went to those gum ball machines as a kid where you put in the quarter, turn the crank, and recieve this little pod thing with a random trinket in it. at least the value of those little things were much closer to the value you paid than this stuff is.
From my understanding, the self defence items are targeted towards afab people who don’t feel safe walking in public. The tasers don’t work well (I’ve heard some people saying they’ve had to use them and they did NOT stop their attacker) the items are cheap and terrible , and it feels exploitative and gross
They gamified drop shipping 😭
Not dropshipping if she's got the stock on her.
Dropshipping isn't just "item made in china, that is bad" dropshipping is bad specifically because the person isn't holding the stock so can't verify it's quality, doesn't disclose that it's coming from further away so will take longer, and leaves the shipping to a third-party company. You can't just call anything you don't like "dropshipping" the word has a very specific meaning.
I am so sick of tik tok dude. I want people to REALIZE they aren't thinking for themselves at all if they haven't realized already. It's getting scary dude I miss being a kid sometimes, I do not like the current state of the internet

They all say 1969 because January 1st 1970 is the start of UNIX time, it's a date and time widely used in computers as a starting point, some programs run into errors when that's not set correctly or bugged and the time goes back to right before the start, 1969, so someone probably didn't configure their bot's time correctly.
I was not prepared for how crazy this video became. Good shit as always Pinely
Really liked the outdoor shots in this video, the cinematography was nice!
Hinge knives like that aren't meant for stabbing - they are slashing weapons. It takes way more strength and mental fortitude to stab someone than you'd think. The idea is to cause them pain and annoyance so they stop pursuing you
Lead? Bad. Mercury? Bad. Horse urine? Fantastic! It's something my body needs anyway!
Tbf women don’t feel safe walking about sometimes, a lot of the time. I’m not gonna say these things are good, cause their business seems scammy.
Scammy? Pink tax? That's none of that that's straight up dropshipping
@@Nataniahuahu yeah those definitely are. But you could argue women are paying more for this cheap crap because it’s “cute”. As per what pinely was saying about the aesthetics. However, I stand by whilst that’s deffo a scam and drop shipping bull crap, that doesn’t mean self defense items are not a valid purchase. Just assuming you get safe ones from trusted legit sources and not some tiktok crook.
@@NellieNutkins i don't think it was ever implied that buying self defense items was not valid?
Women definitely should carry something to defend themselves with (which is the really sad reality). I personally feel like having something cute can make it feel more empowering, like yeah I can kick your a** and I'm gonna look cute doing it. The problem is these dropshippers are just selling garbage. You don't want your baton or pepper spray or whatever to fall apart the second you actually have to use it.
@@tallemajas he’s literally like why would you want to walk around with something that you could kill someone with (or to that effect). Like yeah, some of us feel the need to.
